How do I learn from my mistakes? - 82/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers. When you are humble enough to know what you are wrong, then you will naturally learn from your mistakes. It's better to be right about the wrong things, than it is to be wrong about the right things. Which means that it is better to be right about the small, unimportant things, than it is to be wrong about the big, important stuff. However, it is also best to learn from other peoples' mistakes. When someone spends a few months building something, and then he messes up- learn from his mistakes and see what how you could do better.Question of the day: Do you spend time to reflect on your actions?

How big should a blog be?

This is an except from my book: Attention Avalanche: 3 Steps to endlessly create meaningful content to attract, engage and convert more customersWhen you create long form content that is between 2200-2500 words, then statistically it has the highest chance of getting shared and creating authority for yourself. But endeavour to create as much content as you need and are capable of, that way there is more for your audience to consume and to discover you. There is no point in creating more content at the expense of value or quality, but from personal experience I find that it is more practical to create content with a bias for long form content by being as efficient and straight talking as possible, yet providing plenty of information, advice and answering your audiences' questions. So long as you can maintain a high level of quality then go for either one, but do them both en-mass, because it does not matter if it is short or long form, so long as your customers get what they are after. I try not to make it a case of quantity or quality, but instead of both. I know that I can maintain a high level of quality, therefore it is my prerogative to go en-mass with creating a kind of content that has consistently high quality value that is based on long tail searches and about the problems that my audience may have.Question of the day: How big are you making your content?

What should I focus my time on? - 81/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers. What you think about you manifest into your life, via your reticular activating system. I see Porsches and other nice cars all the time now, as I mentioned earlier. So you want to focus on what you do want in life, whether this is a good business, a strong relationship, reliable cash flow, etc. What you focus on expands.Focus it on becoming better, learning from your mistakes and from others. Research and action taking.Focus on learning, being a better person, sharing your knowledge. Going onto a social media- mainly YouTube and Twitter and sharing your knowledge to become an authority and find people that LOVE what you have to share. Do some research on how to best use those platforms before you jump straight into them.Question of the day: what are you happy and competent at?

How to come up with near endless content ideas...

This is an except from my book: Attention Avalanche: 3 Steps to endlessly create meaningful content to attract, engage and convert more customersYour FAQ.What do your customers consistently ask you? What problems do they always seem to have? You can turn your frequently asked questions into content that pre-emptively answers their questions or to reassures them, as they are buying from you. Doing so also saves you time from having to reply to customer emails, messages or comments with the same sentences repeating yourself.Google's 'searches related to' for more keywords. As you are searching your subject, or the answers for potential blogs, there will be suggested search results along the bottom of the Google search results page. Investigate these further and see how you can talk about them and relate them to your audience. Look inside popular Amazon books. As you go onto Amazon you could click on the book's image to 'look inside', and you can get new ideas from the contents page. You could do something similar with places like Udemy, where you can read the names of the course's lectures and sections. These will give you ideas as to what the author thinks is important and topics you could also have with your audience.Response to others' content.Whenever you find some content that you agree or disagree with, why not create a response to it in the form of a video or blog. By voicing your opinion(s) and stirring up a bit of controversy, you can be noticed and respected online.Start a podcast. It may also be worth starting a podcast and interviewing people from all over the world that are relevant in your industry and/or customers. This way you can get new ideas, learn new things and you are leveraging the halo effect, which states that the reputation and likeability of someone else will spill onto you as you are seen and associate with them. Start a podcast and be seen with other experts and famous people that your audience knows, trusts and respects - it will help to get more traffic, business and attention. Think of it this way: what is Oprah Winfrey famous for? She interviewed plenty of famous people, resulting in their reputation and respect spilling onto her. Making an appearance on her show very valuable, the place to be seen and become famous.Question of the day: How are you coming up with content idea?

Who should I be in a relationship with? - 80/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers. This is a very interesting topic, because I have been in a relationship with someone that was rather negative and someone that was rather positive. You can be a relationship with whomever you want, so long as they'll help you and be on your side. Nothing is worse than having a partner that is not supportive. You and I need to be in a relationship with someone that supports our ideas, qualities, goals and preferably if someone is an entrepreneurial already. Be in a relationship with someone that shares your attitudes and beliefs towards money, success and business. Someone that you can discuss big ideas with and someone that will work alongside you.Seek to be in a relationship with someone that sympathise with you and will support you. Seek to avoid someone that will bring you down, whether mentally, emotionally, spiritually or in business.I was in a relationship with a woman in 2015 and she was rather negative towards business and said that one of her male friends got a virus from my website, which was later proved to be false because there was evidence for it. She was very much wanted to work 9-5 for the rest of her life, and there is nothing inherently wrong with this, but was unwilling to learn the things I was learning. I encouraged her to read a book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, which she never did and near the end of our relationship said the I tried to "dupe" her into reading books. How you can dupe someone into improving themselves, opening their minds or learning new things? There was also another time where we were at a book store and I showed her a book How to Speak the Language of Money- she flicked through it and said "I know all of this already", yet she was doing nothing with that knowledge. I did not question her, but back then I was thinking "well, what does arbitrage mean?" and wanted to test her.She also once complained that companies were cheating people by overpricing their cheap products, as she had a can opener that was made from a cheap plastic. I wanted to challenge her and say that it was due to a thing in economics called 'shrinkflation', but I never challenged her.She saw herself very much as a victim as everything was someone else's fault, this is why she never passed her driving test. She was rather negative and not a person you want to be in a relationship with, because as you grow, develop and succeed, you'll leave her behind. She is the kind of woman that would have dragged me down and wasting my time. There was another woman that I knew, but she was totally committed to her work- again nothing inherently wrong with this, but it was a major distraction from their real life goals. Remember: you cannot get rich by having a job, you cannot earn you want to riches. We never met in person, but we did connect over Facebook- I may never truly know how well we get along because she was too committed to her work- which I suggested once that maybe they are taking advantage of her working 7 days a week.Avoid toxic relationships, because these are people that are not willing or interesting in being an entrepreneur or people that are negative, whining or are beyond help.Another woman is much more agreeable with business and after seeing some of my success and seeing evidence of it: will want to join me as an entrepreneur and do her own thing. The only caveat to being in a relationship with someone that is business orientated as well, is that it can be a little overbearing, this was a contributing factor to why Donald Trump was unhappy with his first wife, Ivana Trump. In the late 1980s she was overseeing his Atlanta businesses and she was doing a good job at it, but when she and Donald were at home, she would only talk about the business. They were not a very normal family, as Donald described it, because she would only talk about business and money, as opposed to family things- it seems that she was unable to wind down.Question of the day: Is there anyone you regret being with?

5 steps to create compelling content by default for content marketing

This is an except from my book: Attention Avalanche: 3 Steps to endlessly create meaningful content to attract, engage and convert more customersPeople talk about "create compelling content" but that is too vague, meaningless and not very actionable. The benchmark that I feel that is much more practical is to create content that is very VRINE.VRINE stands for valuable, rare, inimitable, non-substitutable and evergreen. As you create content that people care, talk about, love and share then it is compelling by default. Do not publish something unless passes these with flying colours.Use this benchmark as you are deciding what and how to create your content; rate each of them on scale from 0-10, then you would want to ensure that it is at least a 7/10 for each of the words. Because you do not want to publish sub-par content that no one cares about.V - Valuable. Your content has got to "add value" to your audience. It is has to enlighten, reassure, educate, entertain, etc. If you do not add value then your content is pointless or misleading, because you have to deliver on the information that you are promising them that they will learn if they click on your video or begin reading your blog. I have always found the phrase "add value" to be too vague, so it is better to focus on solving real world problems and providing solutions to your audience and customers, otherwise, they will derive no value from your content and go elsewhere. R - Rare. The rarer and/or more scarce your content is, the higher the intrinsic value that your audience places upon it will be. If you were to take a picture of a flower that blossoms only once a year then that picture would be quite rare. I - Inimitable. Your competition can imitate your content and attempt to steal your market share. A picture of the same flower that blossoms once a year but in the background of one of your selfies, whilst holding today's newspaper, then you are making it rare and inimitable.N - Non-substitutable. If you want to travel somewhere you have different choices: car, train, plane, etc. If you cannot drive, then a substitute would be to get the train. If there is no substitute for your content or solution, they your audience will value it even more, because only you can solve their specific problem or have a solution. E - Evergreen. Throughout the year people will search for different things online, therefore some keywords and content are seasonal. For instances the phrase "Christmas gift ideas" will be searched a lot from October - December, but there may not be as many searches in June or July. However, something more evergreen such as "how to drive a car" will be searched for consistently throughout the year, meaning that it is resulting in consistent traffic and awareness. Question of the day: How are you creating compelling content?

How should I feel in order to succeed? - 79/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers. There are three main emotions I have discovered that affects our success:Positivity.Empowered.Energised.The more positive we are towards something, whether it is our tasks, goals, achievements, etc, the more likely we are to tackle them and to overcome them. Because a problem is like a nut, with enough thinking, planning and testing different tools, you will break that nut- you will solve that problem. If you are not positive enough, you simply will not attempt to solve your problems, achieve what it is you want to achieve or become the person you want to become.Seek to grow, protect and maintain your positivity, without this you simply will not act.Empowered is the second emotion, you can have the positivity, but if you don't have the tools, skills or talents to solve your problem or achieve what it is you want to achieve, then you will struggle or never achieve it. You can be positive about your driving test, but if you have never driven before, then you'll never be able to pass your driving test, until you have the skills and talents of a driver.Seek to expand your knowledge, make small mistakes and expand your comfort zone, without knowledge you cannot act.Being energised is the third emotion- it is the energy you have in the morning and the determination to take your skills and put them to action. It is the energy that you need at the right moment in order to put what you know into action and turn it into success. Your productivity varies throughout the day because our energy fluctuates- we have more energy to do things in the morning when we get out of bed, than we have energy at night time or just before we go to sleep.Seek to become energised and to have the energy to act, without energy you could not act.Question of the day: Which do you lack, positivity, empowerment or energy?

Why are my feelings so important? - 78/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers. They are your mental wellbeing. When you are not mentally well, you may not succeed. This does not mean that those with a debilitating mental condition cannot succeed, but those that allow themselves to desire success as much as they work towards it, do succeed. Remember, that you can outwork your competition through persistence- as this is how the turtle beat the hare.Your feelings affect how you think, behave and act. When your feelings are down, you do not perform as well, as athletes put themselves into a peak state before they compete. This is no different in life- you have got to keep yourself in a peak mental state so you can achieve what it is you desire.Question of the day: How are you controlling your emotions?

What should I spend my time talking about? - 77/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers.Spend your time thinking of ideas, generating opportunity and generating cash flow. Even if money is not a problem for you, it does not mean you should stop thinking about it, because it makes the world go round and helps you to do more in the world and become more. Great people spend their time thinking about success and ideas. I find myself thinking and acting on important and big ideas.Spend less of your time bitching, because whining over spilt milk will get you nowhere- only children do that, and yet they grow up.Embrace change and be adaptable- the world is changing and you need to change with it. If you are not adapting: you are going to be left behind. The methods of doing business, marketing, getting finance, etc, have changed since 2007, have you kept up with the changes? People used to believe that the yellow pages, a phone number directory would never be replaced, yet it was replaced by the mid 2000's.Help others succeed and share your knowledge. Others can and will benefit from learning the knowledge you have inside of you- do your ideas justice and share them with others- teach others what you know. When you are talking about your knowledge: your passions shine through and you begin to know yourself. Seek to associate with people that are way ahead of you, so you can learn from them, associate with people at the same level as you and seek to associate people below you, so you can teach them and share ideas with them.Be careful of the words and phrases you say to yourself, because words have power and they have the power to disarm you and your efforts. When you listen to the wrong people you become disheartened and your progress is dampened. The words that you let yourself listen to and dwell on, whether empowering or disempowering, can enhance or destroy your efforts and they can turn a good day into a bad day.Plan, strategise and act. Action is important, but so is planning and thinking, if people were given the choice of going to work or sitting at home and thinking about their situation and how to change it- most people would go to work. Few people can sit down, whether alone or with others, so as to think and plan. I thrive when I'm alone, as it is a chance to collect my thoughts, write down ideas, plan and prepare my plan of attack.Question of the day: What do you talk about? What kind of life you do want to create?

[Law of Attraction] How do I use it? - 76/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers.Break down the word: attraction, it has the word action in it. You can do all the imagining you want, but you need to go out and attract it into your life through the consequences of your actions.Having the mental picture in front of you is the first half of the battle, the second half is to go out, create and achieve it.Here are some ways to get the mental picture in front of you:Creative Visualization- use positive dialogue to creative visualization.Expectation– cultivate a feeling of expectant of reward and success.Imagine what it is you want- imagine seeing it, touching it, feeling it, etc. When you get those sense into your subconscious mind it starts to believe that you have already achieved it, and thus begins to help you reach the standard at which it can be achieved.Think of different ways you can interact with the thing that you desire.I use the law of attraction mainly though my affirmations, which affects how I think and feel. So I can then begin to reverse engineer how it is I can achieve what it is I am seeking, thus starting with the end goal in mind.Activate your reticular activating system- like with the yellow cars so you see one car and then you start to see them everywhere. The tools, opportunities and other things you need were there already, but you did not pay attention to them. It is the same with knowledge, ideas, opportunity and money: they were there all along, but you never knew how to achieve them and now you do, so you begin to see ways that you can achieve it. As you begin to see ways in which you can achieve what it is you want, you then can begin to achieve the things you want. Some would say that this is a rather condensed version of the Law of Attraction, I encourage you to do much more research into it, as it goes beyond the scope of this book.Question of the day: How are you using the law of attraction?
