How to use clickbait in your content marketing strategy

This is an excerpt from my book: Attention Avalanche: 3 Steps to endlessly create meaningful content to attract, engage and convert more customersClickbait is about creating content and presenting in a more appealing way so to get more traffic and attention; when the strategies are applied ethically and deliver on what they promise to the audience: then clickbait is not evil. Learn to appreciate and leverage different forms of clickbait. Especially whilst everyone else thinks that it is evil and undesirable, because that means that few people dare to use it.Please understand that clickbait is not evil or unethical, but a very smart way to capture attention, get clicks and views. Clickbait, in the traditional sense, does have a bad reputation because people are often mislead by it. You can use the lessons learnt from clickbait content to your advantage, provided that you actually deliver on the promise, and value, that persuaded your audience to click on your content in the first place. If you deliberately mislead then you will annoy and anger your viewers, but as you use clickbait strategies for good and deliver on what you promise, then you can expect to get more online traffic. Clickbait is only "evil" if you use it for bad or misleading things.Combine different keywords with strategies to create clickbait titles, then you can capture attention from all over the world:Top 3 reasons why entrepreneurship is not gambling. The strategy to be fail in business.7 Books every entrepreneur needs to read to be a master marketer. Here are some best practises when it comes to creating titles that work and are clickbait-y enough to grab peoples' attention.Try these templates to create headlines:Number + Adjective + Noun + Keyword + Promise7 Steps to become a smarter entrepreneur.21 Examples of  a leveraged business.9 Stages an Entrepreneur goes through to avoid failure3 Applicable Blue Ocean strategies that businesses can use to grow faster.10 Peculiar businesses that entrepreneurs actually started.1 Straightforward principle to change how you make money online instantly. How to + Action + Keyword + PromiseHow to build a social media following efficiently. How to create titles to your content that people will actually click on.How to get your audience engaged instantly. How to get more comments and likes on your posts easily. How to get more viewers to your videos with little changes.Definition + Guide to +Action + Keyword + PromiseA thorough compilation of business ideas that can be started for less than $100.Almanac to the best principles for entrepreneurs to begin marketing. An easy guide to creating content that engages your followers perpetually.Your complete guide to inbound marketing and getting subscribers on YouTube.Definition + Number and/or Noun + Keyword + Promise or DetailsTop 53 sites to share your content on for free.Worst 21 sites to avoid because of the founder's dodgy past. The fastest ways to get more ideas for content creation.Negative Word + Action + KeywordThe worst ways to build your YouTuber subscriber count.Negative behaviour and habits to have as an entrepreneur.7 fatal mistakes entrepreneurs make every day. But, here are some ways to make your titles more appealing, for instances you could include numbers:Fatal mistakes made online.9 Fatal mistakes made online.Ways to be discovered online.3 Ways to be discovered online.Add attractive adjectives:Why most people unsubscribe from you.The simple reason why most people unsubscribe from you.A strategy to get followers.A straightforward strategy to get followers.Use call-to-actions:Use these strategies to get more sales.Leverage these techniques to increase your conversions.Read these free PDFs from my books.AdjectivesAbsolute, Accidental, Amazing, Attention-Grabbing, Beautiful, Big, Brilliant, Clever, Controversial, Crazy, Damn Good, Delicious, Disturbing, Easy, Efficient, Effortless, Epic, Essential, Fab, Fantastic, Fascinating, Fearless, Free, Fun, Gorgeous, Incredible, Indirect, Insane, Irresistible, Juicy, Key, Kick-Ass, Little, Little Known, Mind-Blowing, Modern, New, Outrageous, Painstaking, Powerful, Proven, Recommended, Required, Scary, Savvy, Seriously, Shocking, Simple, Sleek, Snazzy, Spectacular, Spiffy, Steal-worthy, Strange, Stunning, Successful, Surprising, Terrible, Trendy, Trust-Building, Unbelievable, Useful, Useless, Valuable, Winning.NounsAreas, Components, Concepts, Do's and Don'ts, Examples, Facts, Forms, Ideas, Ingredients, Lessons, Lies, Marks, Mistakes, Methods, Metrics, Principles, Questions, Reasons, Recopies, Resources, Rules, Steps, Stages, Secrets, Statistics, Strategies, Skills, Sins, Tactics, Tips, Tricks, Techniques, Templates, Tools, Types, Ways, The #-Step Process.Actions / Call-to-actionsApply, Ask, Be, Beautify, Become, Benefit, Break, Bring, Build, Create, Combine, Decide, Discover, Do, Double (Triple), Drive, Eliminate, Engage, Enhance, Exclude, Fail, Fix, Gain, Generate, Get, Get Rid of, Have, Illustrate, Improve, Include, Increase, Keep, Learn, Make, Maintain, Manage, Master, Manipulate, Maximize, Meet, Move, Optimize, Overcome, Perform, Play, Prepare, Produce, Promote, Prove, Save (Time), Search, Set, Shape, Show, Start, Spice Up, Think, Try This, Use, Write.Guide Definitions101, An Easy, A Step-By-Step, The Advanced, The Beginner's, The Complete, The Definitive, The Essential, The Fun and User-Friendly, The Ultimate, The Short, The Simple.Positive WordsAlways, Best, Biggest, Easiest, Ever, Fastest, Funniest, Greatest, Hottest, Largest, Most, Perfect, Strongest, Top.Negative WordsAvoid, By No Means, Don't, Never, None, Nothing, No One, No Way, Worst, Stop.By using these principles you can give you content a greater appeal and a higher chance of being consumed and not forgotten about. When they are presented with a title that gets them thinking about the answer, what the content could mean or what it is talking about, then that is piquing their curiosity and helps to capture their attention - this is called a knowledge gap. You know more than your audience, so it is wise to leverage that knowledge and let your audience realise that your content knows something that they do not. Ask questions of your audience relating to your content in terms of:Who?What?Where? When? Why?How?When you are presenting your content in the form of a question, highlighting some information or crafting a thought provoking title that they may not know to answer to then it spurs them into action so as to learn more from you. By getting people to think about your content then it piques their curiosity to learn more and thus click to satisfy their knowledge gap.Another way to create a knowledge gap is to invoke different emotions in your audience, so that they want to know more as they feel enveloped in a certain emotion at that time. Emotions such as:Amazement.Anger.Anxiety.Awe.Contentment.Excitement.Heartbroken.Humour.Inspiration.Nostalgia.Sadness.Surprise.Some of these emotions are mentioned in the customer persona template, but you can always add these, and other emotions, into your own template. Here are some key emotions to aim for, as these help spur action in people:Action.Amusement.Anger.Attention/unex... - realized they have a problem, expressed, they have symptoms, a potential problem.Awe.Consideration- given a name to the problem/opportunityDecision- they have defined the solution/strategy, they know what to do or who to hire...Desire.Empathy.Interest.Joy.Laughter.My Mistakes/weaknesses/ flaws.Story/ experience about the thing.Vulnerable.Question of the day: how are you using clickbait in your content?

How does clickbait work?

This is an excerpt from my book: Attention Avalanche: 3 Steps to endlessly create meaningful content to attract, engage and convert more customersClickbait creates a knowledge gap in our mind - something that captures our curiosity and piques our interest. Knowledge gaps are titles or pieces of content where the audience realises they do not know something that only you can give to them. It is a curiosity itch that only you can scratch for them once you have made them aware of said itch. When you are presenting your content in the form of a question, highlighting some information or crafting a thought provoking title that they may not know to answer to then it spurs them into action so as to learn more from you. By getting people to think about your content then it piques their curiosity to learn more and thus click to satisfy their knowledge gap.Another way to create a knowledge gap is to invoke different emotions in your audience, so that they want to know more as they feel enveloped in a certain emotion at that time. Emotions such as:Amazement.Anger.Anxiety.Awe.Contentment.Excitement.Heartbroken.Humour.Inspiration.Nostalgia.Sadness.Surprise.Here are some examples of knowledge gaps that I have created in my content:Why having a business a good idea? How do I discover who I am?Why is greed good for entrepreneurs? My $2.31 Billion Entrepreneurial / investor Mistake.Video games are a waste of entrepreneur's time.2 Signs to tell when an entrepreneur should quit. How entrepreneurs can recognise opportunity.2 Things every entrepreneur should know.Question of the day: how are you using clickbait?

How do I create money from thin air? - 90/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers.Do you remember the container analogy? When you have more knowledge inside your brain, when an external input comes into your mind it is then bounced around within your mind and it is qualified by each knowledge particle and how you can use it with this knowledge. As it bounces it generates more energy, thus creating more opportunity for you. When you expose yourself to new ideas, places and people, you can then begin to think up ideas and thus opportunity anywhere and often on the spot.I told you about the time when I saw a 4 leafed clover air freshener in a car, and then suddenly got a rush of ideas. Ideas that were staring in the owner of the air freshener in the face.Fill your mind with new ideas and more knowledge, then you can generate profitable ideas daily. When you generate new ideas you are creating money from thin air, because you'll have too many ideas to work with and thus you can be picky and you can put some of them in the back burner for later use, when you know more and are smarter, thus you can perform better with the idea.Question of the day: How are you becoming more resourceful?

Advanced keyword research strategy for content marketing

This is an excerpt from my book: Not every keyword is the same as some are more important than others. There are different kinds of keywords that people could be searching for, without realising it, and these include:Branded Keywords. These are the keywords that you want to be associated with from a marketing perspective, for instances in my YouTube videos I always include the keywords "Nantchev", "Become Remarkable" and "Become Remarkable Podcast". Because when people search for these phrases I always want to be the number 1 search result, as I want these words to be associated with my brand. Branded keywords are those that you always want to be discovered by. Some examples from a hemp business that I tried to get off the ground include:Hemp store UK.Hemp Blog.Online hemp store uk.Online hemp stores uk.Local hemp store.Hemp clothes store uk.Commercial Investigation.People are looking for information to help them on a buying decision that they are currently facing. Most people will want to know more about a product or service before they actually decide to buy it, so they are likely to search for its name and add keywords like "review", "scam" or "exposed" into Google. They want to know more about something: how trust worthy, valuable or worthwhile it is before they go ahead with the purchase. They may not be ready to buy just yet, but they want to be well-informed about how they will be spending their money and who is behind the business. Some hemp examples include:Best hemp shoes.Hemp shoes reviewList of worst hemp shoes.List of best hemp shoes.Hemp shoe performance. Is hemp legal? How legal is hemp?Information based. These are the phrases that people will search for in order to get more information about the product/service as a whole. Where the commercial investigation was about the quality of the product and its trustworthiness, as they are weighing up the possibility of making a purchase. Information based keywords are more inquisitive and curious in nature - someone may have heard about hemp for the first time and have decided to do more research about it. Some examples include:What are the differences between hemp and cotton?Differences between cotton and hemp.Cotton vs. hemp. Why is hemp better than cotton? What is hemp? What makes hemp so durable? Why does hemp exist?Identifying hemp shoes against non hemp shoes. How to tell the difference between hemp shoes and non hemp.Transaction based. You can deduce that the person searching knows about the product and wants to buy it - perhaps they heard about it offline, but they do not know where to buy it from. They are ready to buy, but not sure who from, as they like the product but not sure who sells it or they may want to find somewhere else to buy it from. Examples include:Buy hemp clothes.Buy Men's clothes.Buy women's hemp clothes.Buy outdoor hemp clothes.Buy comfy hemp clothes.Discount Hemp gear.Search Intent.Sometimes users may be searching for something yet not know what it is. For instances, back in the late 1990s I used to watch a claymation show called the "Gogs" and after years of not watching the show it suddenly popped into my mind in 2010. But by then I had forgotten what it was called, as I was very young in the 90s. So I searched "claymation set in caveman era from the 1990s" and the first result was the Gog's Wikipedia page. I once heard a programmer say that is it difficult to program mind reading, but Google is close; as they can deduce what you are searching for and what you mean. For example:The plant that is illegal yet very powerful. What is the plant that people smoke to get high.Plant that can be turned into plastics.Plant that can make plastics.Illegal plant that is underutilised.Plant Henry ford made his cars from.Plant can that heal inflammation.Illegal Plant that can be turned into clothing.Question of the day: how are you doing your keyword research?

How do I manage my money? - 89/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers.Firstly have an accountant, someone who is an unbiased professional that can look at your money and see your entire situation from a different, more experienced and unemotional angle. This unbiased professional can give you valuable advice, opinions and thoughts about what you are doing right and wrong. His opinions, advice and experience could save you years.Furthermore, I use different bank accounts for my personal income. My money gets split into each of these accounts according to a %, and each account is dedicated to different purposes. I went to my bank and opened the accounts there and then, opening the accounts was the easy part, it is the mental dedication and using the cash for its correct purposes- that is the hard part.Necessities, 55%.This is the main account and all your expenses are paid from here: rent, fuel, emergencies, etc.Charity, 5%.5% of your income should to go charity to foster a sense of abundance in the world. Where you are saying to the world that you have enough money to do with it as you please. If you cannot give 5% of your money, then give your time and volunteer.Play, 10%.This money has to be spent at the end of each month. This money is used to foster your inner child so as to relax, unwind and de-stress.Education, 10%.This money is to be spent on you education: whether books, mentors, courses, seminars, etc.Investing, 10%.This money is to be only spent on investing and nothing else. How can I become financially free? - 88/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers.Follow this formulae that I figured out recently: P>(E*1.5)P, your passive income, from all your different income sources. You and I need to have as many income sources as possible, at least 4, because if something were to happening to one of those sources, then your income would be in jeopardy- just how if you were fired from your job, your single income would be jeopardized.E, is your expenses, calculated on a monthly basis. These include fuel, rent, food, clothing, entertainment, etc.1.5, is the factor that you multiple your expenses by for a margin of error. If your monthly expenses are £1,000, then when you multiple it by a factor of 1.5 you get £1,500. Which is your monthly goal for passive income. Because if you expenses are £1,000, and then one month you have an unexpected expense, such as a problem with your health or car. How are you going to pay for it if your income just covers your expenses? You'll need a marginally higher income that exceeds your expenses, in case of a rainy day or an emergency. You do not have to multiple your expenses by 1.5, you can go anywhere from 0.00 - 3.00. The factor is determined how risk averse you are- if you are very laid back and relaxed, then something as low as 0.5 could be suitable for you. If you are unwell, or rather anxious about your money and your expenses, then something as high as 3.00 could be for you.Question of the day: What are you doing to become financially free?

How to emotionally connect with your customers

This is an excerpt from my book: Attention Avalanche: 3 Steps to endlessly create meaningful content to attract, engage and convert more customersTake what you know about your audience and ask in relation to what you are selling/promoting: "why is it important?" 3 times. Each time you ask you are finding the emotional angle at which to approach your content and marketing.By asking yourself why something is important to your audience, you are uncovering the emotional origin of their motivation and desire. As you are doing this, and talking about their inherit emotions, you are finding more ways to have conversations with them and to connect with them.Endeavour to ignite different emotional responses in your audience throughout your content, helping to pass their "so what?" test. There is nothing worse than people finding your content but having little to no interest in it, nor are they compelled enough to click or even to find out more.By asking why something is important to them you are getting to the emotional level as to why your customer should care about what it is you are promoting. Instead of asking 'why' you could ask anything else, as most other adjectives in the dictionary work and it is down to you to figure out which are good, which ones make sense, which generate plenty ideas and which gets you thinking about your audience in new ways. It is a case of trial and error as not all adjectives are effective at finding the emotional origin of your customer's motivation. If you fail to pass their "so what?" test then everything is for nothing - because if your customers do not care to consume your content then ultimately they will not buy your products or services, because they'll view your content as "meh" and not care. They will then overlook you and continue with their day; forgetting all about you as your content is renegade to the dark corners of the internet where few people may ever see it. Some adjectives to use instead of 'why' could include:Caring.Chivalrous.Dangerous.Decisive.Entertaining.Funny.Futuristic.Graceful.Instinctive.Nostalgic.Protective.Relevant.Revolutionary.Sophisticated.Thoughtful.Weird.For example with my audience, as I am strategising and thinking about what their thoughts, stances and feels may be towards learning new things by taking in more knowledge. Here is my thought process: I may initially reason that they may or may not realise that they have to learn new things and they may not know where to get the knowledge from in order to learn said things. Why is it important? Books have power to change your life and they would need to realise that. Why is that important? They can learn so much in a short space of time by reading a book where someone details their research, principles and experiences - which they have learnt the hard way.Why is that important? By learning from other's mistakes and life, they can avoid making those mistakes and be more successful.Question of the day: How are you emotionally connecting with yoru audience?

There are 3 kinds of customers in business

This is an excerpt from my book: Attention Avalanche: 3 Steps to endlessly create meaningful content to attract, engage and convert more customersFrom my experience creating customer personas there are 3 kinds of people, and by defining a persona for each one you can then have a much more rounded presence in your industry. These 3 types are:Those that are definitely your customer. These are the people that will leap on the first chance they get to buy from you. These people may have waited their entire life for you to start your business/to find you. They are the people that are forgiving of any issues/errors.They love what you do and what you stand for.By defining them as a customer persona, you can begin to have conversations and dialogues with your would-be customers, as they are searching for you, as they want to do business with you.You have to explain to them why they should buy from you and not from your competition.By creating content for them, you are increasing the chances of you being talked about offline - thus creating viral content. As people share content that resonates with them in the communities that they are in.Those that are on the fence. These people are neither here nor there concerning your product or unique selling point. They need more information, advice and ideas on how you can benefit them and how they can use your products or services, before they commit to buying from you. They need to see others doing and buying from you before they will commit. You need to solve a pressing problem for them - something where they have tried all other options and ideas, but are now desperate for any solution. When you define these as a customer persona you can introduce new people to your business, sector, solution, etc. These people may or may not realise that they need you, so it is down to you to persuade them and for them to be aware of you. Those that are definitely not a customer. These people will never buy from you, either because they do not like you, your business or what you stand for. It may simple be that they are the wrong kind of person to attract, for instances, I would not watch any videos on makeup or feminine care, because I have no interest nor demand for it.There is not much point in trying to persuade them to buy from you, as they have little/no reason to do so.By targeting these people, you either begin to polarize the market - because if some people hate you, then that may mean that others love you and you are being talked about online and offline.Question of the day: How are you targeting these different people? How are you polorizing the market?
