Take a Walk with Jesus

Hello, and happy day to you! We hope your week has been blessed, that each day brings you more of God’s joy, and finds you further along your personal path of faith and peace. Our Heavenly Father is always listening, watching, instructing, correcting, blessing, and protecting His beloved children.

Take a Walk with Jesus

The best step you can ever take is a close walk with God. The beauty of life is that it is always changing, and we are still learning and growing. Each day, life renews all around us. New birds hatch, a fresh wind blows, children are born, couples marry, and new joys abound. What a blessing to see and behold the beautiful gifts of each day!

Help Someone and Lessen Your Burdens

By understanding that life is continuous, you can rest assured that most difficulties and challenges are only temporary. Some things can be chronic or prolonged, though they may still occasionally allow you breaks or lulls in the discomfort.

Look for Your Joys

I implore you to persevere, to look for the joys instead of the pains, to take your mind off your troubles, and find ways to help someone else. Find a hobby, volunteer at a school, or senior facility. Find a need and fill it with your God-given talents, and see if your problems feel a little lighter each day.

Trust God and Lean on Him

The best advice I know is to love God, trust the truth of His words, and lean on God for relief and comfort. Try to fill your heart with beautiful thoughts every moment of every day. We have a fantastic team of gifted individuals who help support our inspirational community. One of our latest endeavors was to reformat and enhance volume two, The Light That is You. We hope you enjoy the new look. Here are the links.

Show Your Loved Ones That You Care

Take time to show all of the people you love that you care. Make time to greet them warmly when they visit. When they make time to call you, sit down, relax, and enjoy their conversation. Put the time in your schedule to call them occasionally and visit their residences too. Send a picture, card, joke, or flowers and a note.

Every Second of Life is Precious

We all understand that every second of our lives is precious. Yet we often rush through our days without enjoying much of it. We hurry to wake, rush off to work, flee off to lunch, and take quick breaks. Then we run to get off work, often tired, stressed, and sometimes in a fog of despair. But what if we slowed down just a little bit?

Build Time for Peace into Your Day

What if we took time to rise, and see the sunshine before we jump in the shower and sprint through our day? Then maybe we would not routinely sigh at the first sign of rain? Your few minutes and small acts of love prepare your loved one’s heart to expect joy in their day. They feel your love; it energizes them and reminds them to wait for the arrival of the rainbow with glee.

Make Time to Enjoy Intimate Visits

What if we made quality time to sit with our spouse, parents, aunts, and children for a few minutes to help set the tone for our days? Imagine how the extra few minutes of the love you share could help your loved ones manage their most difficult battles of the day?

Words are Extremely Powerful

What if you wrote a note to say, “I am glad that you are with me today?” Just a simple thought between me, my heart, and the moon. Words are often simple it is the actions and intentions behind them that make them priceless and memorable. You are always welcome here and we appreciate your time and kindness.

Please consider purchasing one or more of my encouraging books for someone you know who could benefit from my inspirational messages of love. We are so happy to share our joy with you! Thank you.

Learning to Live Through Loss and Grief

Letting A Loved One Go

Sometimes things happen that we do not understand. Our hearts can become so heavy with sorrow that it feels difficult to stand, breathe, move, or speak. I believe that we each view and experience grief differently. Some of us cry others scream, some shut down, and yet others become mentally lost. I think that you can actually have, or go through all of these emotions plus others that I did not mention.

Allow Time to Heal

I believe that we must allow each person their needed time and space to heal and go through the phases of grief. There is no set time frame, guide, or direction to show anyone how to cope or endure the pain. Often, there is nothing you can truly do for those closest to the loved one who died.

Be Comforting to Those Grieving

It seems like a lot of deaths of friends and family members have occurred lately. I mean no offense or disrespect with my thoughts. I always write what is pressing most on my heart, as I feel it’s the best way to be of assistance to others and true to myself too.

Find a Way to Process Your Feelings

Writing is one of the ways I process my feelings. Sadness is not a feeling I like to share, though I hope my words help you be more considerate of those suffering and also allow you to be less critical and more comforting to yourself if you ever find yourself suffering.

Offer a Smile, Hug, or a Listening Ear.

Understand that sometimes people don’t know how to process the hurt, anger, and pain. If somebody tells you that they need help, be there for them. Sometimes a kind smile and a hug are just enough to help someone take one more step, give life one more chance, and make it through the day.

Seek Out Supportive Help

In turn, if you need help, seek out someone trustworthy, a parent, sibling, friend, counselor, or a minister. Never be afraid or embarrassed to communicate your truth and accept the support that will enable you to move on to the next stage in your life. You are worth more than the tears, hurt, anger, and pain that you may be experiencing.

My family and I wish you love, peace, and God’s grace to get through anything that is hurting you.

Choosing to Be a Bright Light

Finding Joy in the Simplest Moments

Do you ever recognize and embrace the beauty that comes from the simplest moments of life? Tonight I listened to part of an audiobook by Wayne W. Dyer entitled Invisible. The wisdom he shared is solid, loving, nurturing, and kind. His words inspire, uplift, and encourage; and his gift of writing has blessed many lives.

I Love Seeing Others Shine

I find myself drawn to the goodness and light in others, and I always enjoy seeing others shine. I believe there is room for all of us to be bright stars and bring light to the path for the next generation. For me sharing my heart is a way to touch and help others, lift spirits, bring joy, and share God’s love.

Discover a Way to Hold Hope in Your Heart

One of the first things that fighting chronic health challenges taught me was the need to find and hold on to hope. Writing is how I find that hope, clear my mind, hold on to my sanity, and how I began to fight back against the chronic pain. Without writing, I do not think I would have seen a way to stand as strong during my storms.

Every Moment in Life is Precious

Each piece of prose that I create (poetry, prayers, affirmations, and essays) about my CRPS RSD struggle helps me realize that every moment in life is precious. I believe that we must learn to celebrate every day of life. There is always something good to be found in each day.

See Hope, Light, and Love Beyond the Pain

Writing helps me see glimmers of goodness, shed light in dark places, and helps me get through rough days. Furthermore writing allows me to appreciate the full purpose and beauty of our lives. I hope that by sharing my heart, thoughts and inspiration, you will gain strength to continue fighting your storm, embracing the beauty and purpose of your life, and move further along your journey to peace.

Your Life is Important and God Loves You

Your Life is important

You are not lost, overlooked, forsaken, and you are not alone. You are a blessing! You were created out of God’s love and born with a divine purpose. Your life is valuable to God, and He will always cherish you.

God Loves You

Even if you have not walked in your God-given purpose before, God wants you to know that you are deeply loved and that you are highly favored. It does not matter what you have been through, what you are presently going through, or what you did last night. It does not matter if in the past you lied, deceived, stole, or otherwise broke the law.

Forgive Yourself

Forgive yourself for everything in your past that you may have done that is against God’s will. The word of God reassures us that God has already absolved our sins. Choose to accept God’s compassion, grace, mercy, and His love. Then you can move forward towards the light, love, joy, peace, positivity, and goodness God has in store for you.

God Forgives You

What matters most is who built you. What matters is who designed you. What matters is how your heart is today. If you have repented, left your old ways behind, and you are seeking to build your faith and a stronger relationship with God, I believe that God is pleased with you.

God Will Always Love You

You have the God-given ability and God’s Holy Spirit’s assistance to develop a life that is meant for you. God is always present, and His spirit is always near. He loves you, and He cares for you. Even when you are sleep, God is thinking of you. There is nothing that you or anyone else can do, that will stop God from loving you.

Speak to God in Prayer

Each day you live is a wonderful blessed occasion. You can start over at any time and become who you know God wants you to be. Speak to God in prayer, place your concerns, troubles, grief, and pain at His feet. Give God deeper access to your heart, and let Him be a daily comfort to you.

Step into Your Purpose

Walk boldly into the life God has planned for you. You are worthy of His love, and He has forgiven your past. Forgive yourself, start fresh, and walk boldly into your God-given purpose.

God Loves You As You Are

God Loves You As You Are

There is never a reason to ever compare your life to anyone else. God took great care and gifted each one of us our own unique journey and walk of faith. Even identical twins have different gifts, dreams, talents, and aspirations. They may have lots of similarities, but one may love science, and the other may excel in math.

Shine in Your Own Way

What I choose to like is based on my individual thoughts, desires, and preferences. What you choose to like is based on your individual thoughts, desires, and preferences. I may love the sunshine, and you may love the moonlight. Neither the sun or the moon is more important in God’s eyes, they just have different responsibilities, uses, and different times to shine in their own way.

Walk Your Own Path in Joy and Peace

Just like God created each of us for our own path, the sun has its path, and the moon has its path. The flowers have always had an incredible variety of colors, scents, and times to bloom. That too is part of God’s plan. Our job is to wake up each day and find a way to walk our path of faith in joy and peace.

You Are a Unique Flower in God’s Garden

My steps may never crisscross your path, yet we are both here for the same reason. When we lose sight of our uniqueness and God’s direction, we can become sad, stressed, or give in to pressures of society. You are like one of the flowers in God’s beautiful garden. You will grow in your own way each day. Your beauty and your purpose are not diminished when another person shines. In God’s eyes, your life is just as bright as the person standing next to you.

Shine Your Light Bright Each Day

Choose to live each day, shining your light, and never stand in anyone’s shadow. Take your next step, next breath, and the next chance to live your best life. As we grow and mature, we come to understand the truth that everyone’s life has value, purpose, and a reason to be grateful.

Accept Life As the Blessing That it is

Today I accept my life as the blessing that it is. Even with my challenges and struggles, I am thankful to be alive. I invite you to accept your life as the blessing that you are.

You Are An Amazing Beautiful Creation

You are each an amazing beautiful creation of God. Your daily positivity, encouragement, and kindness helps you and those around you keep a heart full of God’s love, joy, and goodness.

I believe that every act of goodness that we share is important. I also know that you are important, and your life matters!

We are All Deeply Loved By God

Life challenges can make some of our days harder than we would like. I know that some of us have more struggles than others. I also know that we are all deeply loved by our Heavenly Father.

No matter what challenges you are facing, you are not alone. Do not give up, and do not give in. Keep marching towards your victory. Continue to focus and believe in your breakthrough. Know that God is sending relief, and the blessings and promises of our loving God are always true.

Surrender the Struggles in Prayer

You must surrender the struggle through prayer and continue walking in God’s Grace. It does not mean that you have given up, or that you have given in. By fully surrendering our toughest battles to God, we acknowledge and show that we understand where our real relief will come from. It means that you know that God is the answer to every problem ever created.

God is the True Fixer of Our Lives

We must acknowledge that God is the only true fixer. We can do nothing without Him or His Grace. It is my belief that many times, our most troubling struggles repeat themselves in similar ways. We may not understand or even see the resemblance of the continuation of the problem. God will keep sending the message to us in different ways, so that we slow down, and find our connection to Him.

Release the Struggle to Gain Clarity

In effect, when we acknowledge and accept God’s help, we are releasing the unhealthy toll that stress, mental struggling, and fruitless efforts can cause in our lives. When we release the struggle, we can regain our clarity, healthy mind, and strength from God’s hand being involved. That strength is the key to walking further along our journey to peace and our destiny with God.

We hope you receive our messages of encouragement, faith, and kindness with an open heart, and that you feel the love coming from our hearts. We appreciate you!
