Ask God for What You Need
Are You Living Fully in God’s Love
“Do you feel worthy? Are you living fully in God’s love and fully operating in His will? I had to slow down and ask myself these two questions. I know that I can rely on God, but I still strive to do things on my own. Many times, my efforts are a disaster, less than ideal, or I cause a quagmire of issues that make the situation worse.
You Have Not, Because You Ask Not
The interesting thing is before I choose to do certain things on my own, I hear a thought in my mind, “You have not, because you ask not.” today, I listened, and questioned myself, “Why am I still not listening when I know that God wants to help me?” It made me wonder if I thought God was too busy? Or if I felt I wasn’t worthy? God says we are all worthy, and He’s never too busy.
Showing that We Trust God is a Form of Respect
Well, I heard that scripture again, “You have not, because you ask not.“ I thought hard, and I realized that I cannot keep leaning on myself and truly be fully respectful of God. So I asked God for help with my biggest problem. I asked God to take away the pain in my left eye.
God Knows What You Need
And it might sound unusual, strange, or a little crazy. But I just started praying to God, and I said, “Father, You know what I need. If You could just use Your hand and take hold of my left eye with Your love and pull the pain away from me. Father, I believe that nothing is beyond You, and know that my request is already answered. I ask this simple prayer in Your son’s precious name.” What a relief leaning fully on God and trusting in His power provides. I know that it is in our best interest to bring more of God’s assistance into our day. Are you asking God for what you need?”
Peace and joy to you.

Loving Injured Hearts
Loving Injured Hearts
Sometimes the people we love have been through so many hardships, disappointments, battles, and poor treatment that by the time we meet them, they do not know how to love freely. We look at them and look past the pain. We perceive who we believe they can be, without understanding who they are.
We see their eyes, and we love them.
We see their smile, and we become enamored.
We feel their touch, and we are mesmerized.
But what we cannot see is what they have experienced. We cannot see how often they cry, frown, felt fear, was abandoned or were let down. We believe we can love them through anything and everything. Usually, we pour so much into their wounded souls that we forget what we need and want from the relationship.
Be Willing to Listen
In reality, their hearts are often broken, segmented, or blocked off. We cannot feel their pain, see their nightmares, or understand the feelings they may be to shame or to hurt to share. The best we can do is be willing to listen.
They may shut down at times where we are most vulnerable through no choice of their own. Often, they have built a wall around the deepest parts of their heart and soul, as that is how they learned to survive.
Many will need help and time to free themselves from their past, rescue them from their fears, and help them walk through their issues. With time and adequate treatment, they can develop new pathways to feel safe, be loved, and give love.
Allow Them Time to Heal
We need to give them time to choose if they are ready to heal and encourage them to seek professional help if needed. When we meet people, we need to understand that everyone has been through something that we know nothing about. Love who they are and be willing to step back and give them time to heal.

Envisioning the Beauty of Life
Envisioning the Beauty of Life
God has created a beautiful earth for our enjoyment. Most of which we never thoroughly journey to see. Now that my vision is more limited, I find life’s beauty in different ways. It can be a gospel song on my iPad, hearing a child’s laughter, listening to a poem or scripture that profoundly touches my heart, witnessing my puppy’s latest shenanigans, or receiving a phone call from someone that I love. I believe that if we look, we can always find a reason to be thankful and to see God’s beauty.
Appreciating God’s Daily Grace
Each day that we live, we are showered with an abundance of God’s incredible blessings. Often we are so focused on the life that we do not stop and recognize all of God’s daily grace and His divine favor. I think if we try to slow our pace down and regain our real perspective, we would see how truly blessed we are, even on our most trying days.
Choosing to Focus on God’s Blessings
So today, I am only going to focus on God’s blessings. I am meeting every situation, trial, and challenge with a smile. I am walking totally in God’s grace and His mercy. I believe that nothing but peace and positivity will come my way.
Being Grateful and Loving Life
I have total faith that God’s love, grace, and Holy Spirit will cover me. Every step I take, every choice that I make, will be made as a child of God. I will walk in my purpose, and I will fulfill my destiny. I have found favor and a new purpose. I am forever grateful to our Heavenly Father for His unfailing love, sweet affection, and perfect direction.

Your Life Matters and You Can Make a Difference
Your Life is Important
I cannot always breathe well enough to say what I want, but that does not stop my mind from running free. Sometimes we have to have hard conversations, challenging discussions, and speak about the taboo topics too. We are meant to live. We are meant to survive. Somethings in life can make some question their life or their place in the world.
Life Can Be Challenging and Difficult Sometimes
A person can get low, saddened, or depressed, and their thoughts can wonder. If you add anything to that like bullying, poverty, alcohol, mental illnesses, drugs, PTSD, grief, etc., it can be devastating. The list of injustice, hardships, and life trials are endless. Someone can find a hole or pit is just a few steps away. Most of us walk around the hole or make a path through, some struggle but manage to jump over the “pit of gloom.” Then some are already falling and maybe struggling every day just to get through. There are so many places and stages of life that people can experience, and all of these people’s lives matter.
We Can Lift Each Other in Love
When we talk and share, we lift each other in love. We help someone find the words, strength, reason, and option to keep reaching for better. We remind each other that we are loved and that we are not alone. If you need help, reach out. Never stop believing that you matter.
Choose to Make a Difference
Please keep your eyes open for a chance to make a difference. Smile and lend a hand, give a hug, share a meal, open a door, etc. Whatever you choose to do, choose to make a difference. No matter what we have or where we are in life, we are all God’s children.”
Wishing you a fantastic day and beautiful life!

Prepare for Life’s Challenges
Often we find ourselves situated in uncomfortable positions through no choice of our own. We may encounter difficulties at school, work, the grocery store, driving, or simply walking down the street.
Some Things You Cannot Control
The issues can be as normal as getting stuck without an umbrella in a forecasted rainstorm, sitting in unmoving traffic because of a stuck bridge, driving our usual route to a destination and be redirected by a road detour, we may be standing at a station waiting for a late bus, plane or train, or be in a building that looses its power. Any of those situations and other similar occurrences can happen at any given moment.
Remain Calm and Focused
We can be calm and focus on something positive, use the time to read a book, get a coffee, drink some tea, or call a friend, only if you are not driving. You could write out a grocery or to-do list, make a few appointments you have been putting off, etc. Our first response should be to look for ways to make the time useful and productive. By choosing to control our response we prevent the little things from turning into bigger issues.
Focus on Your Blessings
Our goal should be to find calm in these moments, by recalling our blessings and being grateful to God. Getting slowed down by life is not always a bad thing, if we prepare ourselves to face unforeseen problems. You could keep a few items in a ”relaxation kit” inside your purse or car, such as an umbrella, a magazine or book, a notepad, a supply of your favorite beverages or tea bags with you. The choice to respond positively is always ours. Choose to use your energy for good.
How I Mentally Relax
Personally, writing and praying are how I adjust myself And prepare to live through change. I pray my heart about to God. Some of my prayers are shared in my volumes. The Light That is You and God’s Guiding Light of Peace, are my shields to block stress. I close my eyes and listen to Audible or Siri read my words of inspiration back to me. I thank God everyday for the words of encouragement and inspiration He places into my heart.
My Prayers and Wishes for You
I wish you and your family love, peace, health and happiness. It would be wonderful to hear your thoughts and suggestions for ways we can accept change better. Please feel free to join our newsletter and follow our blog.
