Reading Wonder – Free MG ebooks at My Book Cave

The first book in the Artworld Series is one of more than thirty Middle-Grade books that are offered for free in a promo over at My Book Cave. All you have to do is sign up for the author’s newsletter, and the book is yours to download. (You only sign up for the author whose book you’re interested in, not all of them!)

There’s also a raffle for a $50 gift certificate that might come in handy if you or your loved ones have a lot of books on their wish list this year. The raffle ends tomorro...

Konrad and the Birthday Painting in Audio!

Breaking news!

Konrad and the Birthday Painting is now available as an audiobook, narrated by the incredibly talented Amy Vance who really brought my story and all the characters to life in a whole new way! You have got to hear this!

The audiobook is available on Audible and on Amazon and is slowly trickling out to all other retailers. You can listen to the sample here (if I managed to add the media file correctly, that is):

New and colorful beginnings

So, we have a saying here in Sweden, that Christmas lasts until Easter. Actually, it’s from a song, and the next line of the song goes ”but that isn’t true”, so I guess we don’t have a saying like that at all … It feels like that, though, like I just vacuumed the last of the Christmas tree needles, and all of a sudden things are budding and blooming outside and the overalls are shed and the kids are running around in short sleeves and catching colds. Time sure flies, and this year it seems...

Christmas comes early this year!

This weekend little Lee gets to play with the big boys and girls in Patty Jansen’s massive author-run promo. She is a little intimidated but that is nothing compared to the terror I’m experiencing …

Just like Arnold, baby.

It’s pouring down outside and that might just be the best part of this day. Of course, I might be wrong, but the last few weeks have been a hailstorm of bad news, the world coming to an end, things going wrong at the worst possible time, and I’m just exhausted. I’ve not been able to keep up with work, with writing, with blogging, with sleep, with me, and all of it is just … too much.

I know you’re supposed to put your happy-face on with social media, and always put a positive spin on things...

And the mess continues …

Well, I think I must have tried half a dozen different themes and I honestly haven’t really likedany of them. And none of them have managed to import my images properly, so I’ve had to add those manually. I’ve only done the last few posts, to brighten up the first page, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever get the time to do all of them. This is my precious (oh, so precious …) writing time that I’m spending on stupid computer malfunctions that drive me straight up the nearest wall. Why can’t these t...

Sorry about the mess!

a-mess

So, I don’t know what’s been going on with me and computers lately, but I’ve had to throw out two of them and completely restore the one I’m on now to its factory settings, so nothing — absolutely nothing — is working right now, computer-wise.

On top of that, I decided to move a couple of my domains to the same web hotel where I’ve got the rest of them and in the process I messed up the re-directs that I had on this blog. I haven’t been able to make new re-directs, so instead I just made a n...

Outside

untitled-design-2

Lee has lived all her life inside the dome, built to protect her and the rest of the remaining human population from all the dangers of the Outside. Every day is pretty much like all the others, but the last few days Lee has been feeling unusually restless and irritated. When a tree falls and breaks the hard shell of the dome, Lee decides to sneak a peek at whatever might be out there. She ends up having to spend an entire day in the forest surrounding the dome, all alone for the first time...

Publication day a k a Oh, no, did I actually push that button-day

Ok, I did it. I pulled the trigger. A bit prematurely, perhaps, but I just couldn't stand to keep working on that story for one more day. It needs to be read now. I had severe problems with the description, trying not to spoil anything would lead to pretty much: Lee lives in a dome. One day she goes Outside. Not exactly Must-Read, is it?
I can no longer see this story for what it is, only for what I wanted it to be and all the things I think the rest of the series can be. It feels very much li...
