TAXES
Tax season has come and gone. This is the first time I’ve been a self-published author during tax season. My tax person informed me that self-publishing is a business—which I already knew. My tax person also informed me that I now own my own business. I guess I never looked at it that way before. I’ve sold a few books but not a massive amount—not enough to say I own my own business. My tax person helped me see it in a new light. I am now proud to say I own my own business. I am also proud of what I’ve accomplished so far. I’m sure other self-publishing authors feel the same way.

I really enjoyed this book. Seinfeld is one of my favorite comedy's and this book gave me all the detailed information on how it all started. It also gave me detail on the writers and actors and how certain episodes were created. I gave it a four star rating. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is because the end of the book was a little slow. But once again I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this book. I have to say sometimes the back and forth with America is annoying but i guess that's how you act when your in love or think your in love with two different people. I didn't think i would enjoy the series so much but now that i have started reading the books i have become obsessed and can't wait to get to the next one to see what will happen.

RESPECT FOR SELF-PUBLISHED AUTHORS
I love to write and since I couldn’t find an agent to represent me I decided to represent myself by self-publishing. I have to say it’s frustrating at times coming up with the money to pay editors and proofreaders and cover artist. It’s also rewarding when people take time out of their busy schedules to leave reviews on my work. Reading a review where someone really enjoyed my novel makes me know it was all worth it.
Now that I have thrown myself into the world of self-publishing I can see what other self-published authors go through. I just wanted to give a shout out to them for all their hard work. I have great respect for self-published authors and for the great work they are doing.
Thanks for reading.

I always like Susan Mallery's books. This one didn't disappoint. I like the three different relationships going on in the novel. I also liked how the three women confide in their friends about what's going on in their lives. In these type of books you always know the outcome will mostly end up happy but I like to see the struggles they go through to get there.

The Two-Family House by Lynda Cohen Loigman was a quick read. I normally don't pay this much for an e-book, especially from an unknown author but for some reason this book intrigued me. The cover and title spoke to me and once I read the synopsis I wanted to read a sample. The sample/book started off a little slow to me but I had a feeling that it would pick up because most novels do. I have never read historical fiction before but this read like it could have been from any time period to me. I have to say the more I got in to the book the more I couldn't put it down. I wanted to keep reading until I finished it to see what would happen next. I enjoyed reading the different point of views from several characters. I will say that Rose was my least favorite. I know she had been through a lot but her attitude at times annoyed me. I was happy to see the character growth with most of the characters. This was a great novel and I would read another novel by this author.

I decided to read this book because of the wonderful reviews it received. The plot of the book made me curious. I have to say I enjoyed the book. It wasn't fast pace but I wasn't expecting it to be since it was a romance story. It wasn't boring either, and I think the pace was just right for the book. It kept my interest because I kept wondering what was going to happen next. I will read the next book in the series because I want to know what will happen with the characters. I liked America with Maxon the best so I will have to keep reading the series to see who she ends up with.

Experiment
I'm new to self-publishing and have been experimenting with marketing and advertising. I have decided to enroll in KDP Select for the next 90 days. I will no longer be able to showcase my novels on iBooks or Kobo, and they will only be available in paperback form at Barnes & Noble. Even though that is the case I am still excited to see what my results will be joining KDP Select.
I have read other blogs where authors have done similar experiments. Some have done great worldwide and others have done great just using KDP Select.
Once my experiment is over I will post the outcome. Maybe my experiment will help other new authors decide where they should showcase their novels. Ninety days goes by really fast, so it will be over before you or I know it.
Just a quick blog. Thanks for reading.

New Book Release
I'm excited to announce my next novel has been released. Extinction Of All Children, is a young adult dystopian/fantasy novel and I'm happy to say it is out now as an e-book. The paperback edition will be released in a few days. You can find it on Amazon, Kobo, iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and Createspace.
My last novel was adult romance/women's contemporary fiction so I was excited to write something in the young adult genre.
I really enjoyed writing it and I hope anyone who reads it will enjoy it as well.
