Moonlighter review, Sarina Bowen
This was an intriguing book. I liked the mix of mystery and sport, even if I wished there was a bit more sport, but that’s a personal preference.I loved Alex and Eric’s story. They’re great characters, typically Sarina, and always great.I also liked the intrigue and the supporting cast of characters, I’m interested to see where the rest of this series goes, especially as it’s a little obvious the storyline here will continue.
An interesting read, give it a go!

The Wallace girl review and release blitz, Eliot Scott
I wanted to love this book. I loved the premise and I absolutely love how we’re introduced to Alex, I loved him immediately. But WAY too much time was spent on the past. Perhaps it might be important in the second book but the current story felt slow and didn’t progress. Once I knew the basics about what happened in the past I didn’t need to know anymore. More to the point, I didn’t want to know anymore. I wanted to know what was happening today and I got very little of that.I also felt in the past JoJo was overly naive, and didn’t suit her age. I’m sincerely hoping things progress more in the second book, they kind of have to in order to reach a conclusion, but this book was hard work. Sorry!

Dear Jerk Across the Street, sorry for accidentally walking in on you and catching an eyeful of your—equipment. And hard pass on the open invitation to join you in the shower “anytime”, A-hole.
That’s the note I should’ve written. Instead I sent a pleasant and apologetic version.
Had I known Phoenix “Nix” Russo would’ve been the neighbor from hell, I’d have told him right where he could shove my words.
Nix is the big man on campus with everyone lined up at his games to make sure he knows it. Sure, he’s got piercing green eyes, abs that don’t quit and a smile that could set fire to a set of panties from a hundred yards away, but he’s also the biggest pain in my ass.
Dear Pink-Haired Menace, learn how to take a joke and stop being such a kill-joy...
Elle Masterson called the cops on one of my parties—again. My sweet talking usually gets me out of trouble, but this time it got me into a nice pair of silver handcuffs. Now I’m on a reputation rehab tour with a stop at a spring break community service project.
Guess who’s my new boss?
Now we’re shoulder to shoulder, sweaty, tired and…she’s not anything like I expected. There might just be a heart under that hardass exterior. She’s invading my dreams and I can’t shake the feeling she’s the key to unlocking a piece of me that I’ve hidden away.
It’s only a matter of time until she finds out why I’m really here.
Maybe I can break through her walls and into her heart before that happens...one screw at a time.

Excerpt
“I’ve missed this,” he whispered against my lips. “Me too.” His fingers tightened around the hair at the base of my neck. Tilting my head to the side, he ran his lips over my skin, sending shivers down my spine. One second we were standing in the middle of the pitch-black room and the next the whole world tilted. I landed against Nix’s solid chest.“Are you okay?” I tried to push myself up.He tightened his hold around me. “The stress balls, sweatpants, and t-shirts cushioned my fall.”“Thank you for today.” I peppered his jaw with kisses.“Thank you for letting me do this for you.” The outline of his erection pressed against the front of my mound. Just one inch higher… He wrapped his hands around my waist and lifted me, perfecting the angle.I shuddered and ground my hips against him. Someone walked by the door, but we didn’t stop—couldn’t stop. His hands cupped my ass, dragging me harder against him. The texture of his jeans added extra sensation against my clit. I was on fire for him through two layers of clothes. My short gasps and his low groans were the only sounds in the room other than the fabric friction. “We should get back out there.” I raked my teeth along the side of his neck. “You’re probably right.” His hips shot up and I wanted to scream in frustration that he wasn’t inside me, but I didn’t want to break from the thrumming pleasure rushing all over my body. “In a second.” “In a minute.” His tongue danced with mine in time to the rhythm of our hips. Laughter rang out in the hallway behind the door, but I couldn’t stop. If someone came in, there wasn’t anything that would stop me from dry-humping Nix into next week.

Just roommates release boost and review, Charity Ferrell
      3.5 stars.
For the most part, I did like this book.Once it got going that is.The start is kind of a mess. It’s rushed and info dump-y and I think there was probably a better way to describe the events of the past in an easier way. I did enjoy the banter between Maliki and Sienna, so not all is lost, but still, it was an awkward telling events.I liked Ki. I really loved his POV and sometimes wanted more of it. There were also a few time where I wanted to wring his neck, but he redeem himself, eventually.Sienna annoyed me a few times, *ahem* Devin, but I think she got there in the end.The twists were interesting for me, but only if something similar hadn’t happened earlier in the book. This is an okay book for. Fans of Charity’s will love it, but as a first-time reader it didn’t all work for me,
Sorry!

Dreams of 18 review and release blitz, Saffron A Kent
I was initially attracted to this book because of the best friend’s dad thing.
While that is strictly true, it’s not really a theme of the book. This reads more like your typical age-gap romance.
To start, I really liked Violet. I thought she was cute and quirky but as the book wore on, the more i found her to be immature.
I didn’t really like Graham. I’m not entirely sure why. I think because he never really lets his feelings for Violet show, even though everything he does is for her. To be honest, I liked Brian a lot more than his dad.
This was an okay book. Not as incredible as the recent best friend’s dad books I’ve read lately, but it’s not terrible either.

Unexpected fall review and release blitz, Kaylee Ryan
This was an okay book. I loved the first book in this series, it’s one of my favourites, but I wish these books were true standalones. Yes, we know Dawn and Mark have a history, but we don’t see that. We don’t even see the start of their relationship. I wanted that, if, for nothing else, than a connection to the title. From what we’re shown, this isn’t an unexpected fall for Mark, it’s a gradual one that’s developed over years. I think that’s what also bothers me, is that this relationship takes years to get to the point where we pick it up. What the heck was happening all that time? It’s been made to seem in other books that this was a forgone conclusion. Apparently it wasn’t. Even if more than half the book is them going on about how scared they are to tell each other their feelings. That being said, I did like the twists and turns this book takes, even if at one point I hated Dawn.
But I can’t get over the chosen starting point for this book. It’s a solid book but a little disappointing.

Down too deep review and release blitz, J. Daniels
I loved this book! It was a gentle story, that ran effortlessly.I loved Nate. So flawed, so pained, but also, so brave.Jenna is an incredible woman. So loving and kind.I loved the kids, except for their names.Oliver and Olivia? Also, when I was reading, and I read fast, I kept confusing the names and had to go back, which did annoy me a little.
I loved the drama in this story, the heat, how everything transpired. I highly recommend this story!

The Play review, Elle Kennedy
OMG I LOVED this book! Hunter and Demi have to be my favourite Briar U couple. There’s shades of Garrett and Hannah (The Deal, Off Campus 1) here which is one of my all time favourite books.Hunter is an incredible character. Complex, vulnerable, funny, and hot!Demi is smart, and sassy and all kinds of awesome.I love the drama and layers to this story, as well as the humour, the randomness and Pablo Eggscobar, so good!
This is one of my favourite books of the year and highly recommend it!!
