Detective Gagon’s Debut

THE KILLER

Being handsome has its advantages and affords him easy access into people’s homes. They quickly learn you can not judge a book by its cover when they pay the ultimate price with their lives. He didn’t ask to look the way he does, nor to lose his loving mother at such a young age. Dealing with unwanted memories, he will find a way to erase his past by cleansing the city as he sees fit.

THE DETECTIVE

Detective Marcy Gagon, finds at times her relationship with the lead coroner, Krista Jones, a harder case to crack than the one she’s trying to solve. She feels alone in the hunt for a man whom she believes is a serial killer. The Chief of Police refuses to entertain the possibility that Toronto has yet another serial killer until she can bring him solid proof. But when another couple are killed within 24 hours of the last, Marcy gets the push she needs, and new leads come pouring in. Fully engulfed in her job, she also learns a deeper secret to her girlfriend’s past that only strengthens their bond. Hot on the heels of a killer, Marcy must somehow bring his reign of terror to an end without letting her personal life interfere.

This came across my feed and I find it hits home because it’s not going to be the first one! So be prepared, and why not support another artist along the way.

Audio book that sounds like a radio show

I was more than impressed when I listened to this audio book yesterday, and to be this thrilled about a narrator is saying something. After all, I just finished Duma Key by Stephen King, and he pays for the best.

Well, Nathan Tarantla‘s work is leaps and bounds above all that.

For the first time, (that I know of), a book is read with sound effects in the background. There were people screaming, guns firing, thunder rolling, a crackling fire and so much more. I was immediately immersed in the story—and transported to when I used to listen to the old radio shows. I loved those shows, and to have a story read in this vein was enthralling.

I will certainly be seeking his skills when I produce my next audio book.

Wendigo Trail :

She was offered a great job, run the newspaper on the West Coast! Only problem was, her and her husband had to travel the Oregon Trail. There’s more than prairie madness in the west!

The ice cannibal, the horror of the mountains, monster of the plains – the Wendigo. A gruesome tale of supernatural horror and survival. A full audio drama/horror experience.

And if you are a writer seeking a narrator, be sure to drop Nathan a line. PS, he also proofreads.
