The aura surrounding you, mellifluous sound and light
Colours blending and changing, music in my mind
Your aura enchants me,pure cosmic delight
There’s beauty, surrounding us keeping love inclined
Flagrant words,that cannot tell meaning of the whole
The obtuse sits beside us and on bad days bends our karma
Working together, syncopating our needs, puts blackness on parole

Newly met
Learning yet
Thunder rumbles
Lightening strikes
Urges rising
Thinking alike
Pouring down wild and wet
Getting all ready, getting set
Unexpected, newly directed
Thoroughly affected
Passion takes hold unrestrained
Nothing about this can be tamed
Mind pictures set the flame
Until the lust peaks and wanes
Friendships changes
They say age is but a number
And in some ways, thats so true
When one is over 30
Friends tend to change their hue
You choose your friends for the qualities
Unimportant in ones youth
Its personality that speaks to one
Philosophy and truth
But age creeps up regardless
It may not change the mind
But the body slows and weakens
An inevitable decline
It doesnt change the essence
Or the things that fill the heart
Or halt rewarding friendships
Just add them to the cart.
