The Crown of Anavrea for $10.95

My publisher has agreed to offer The Crown of Anavrea for the very low price of $10.95. This price is only available for 48 hours. If 19 copies sell in the next 48 hours, they will keep it at this impressively low price. So, if you were considering buy a copy of The Crown of Anavrea, now is the time to do it.

"I Need Friends Friday" at Sarah M. Eden's Blog

Come and stop by Sarah M. Eden's blog to read my random and fun interview with her. She has me make up characters on the spot and asks great questions like what is my favorite writing food. Also, come and see what I look like as a stick figure. See you there. - Rachel Rossano

Reviews, Interviews, and Fun

Laura Fabrini of Library of Clean Reads has made my day again. She reviewed The Mercenary's Marriage and did a wonderful job. I was delighted to read her last lines.

"...I found the simple yet powerful message in this short book refreshing. Through the characters, we are taught the value of such traits as honour, compassion, justice and meekness—a quality often misunderstood in today's selfish world that fails to realize it takes far greater strength to be meek than to be a brute. Rossano's...

Interviewing Darius

This is Saria Jane, the Character Interviewer here on Rachel Rossano's Words. Today I am interviewing Darius, the hero of The Mercenary's Marriage. Having just returned from a siege, he has graciously allowed us a few moments before saddling up to take back the capital city from a horde of rebels.

*Darius walks into the tent, scans the interior with a hand on the hilt of his sword, and then crosses to the chair across from Saria Jane. Every movement is graceful and deadly. Taking a seat, he pi...

New Review of "The Crown of Anavrea"

A new review of The Crown of Anavrea was just posted by Laura Fabrini for the Library of Clean Reads. Please stop by and read it. She was wonderful and honest. :)

Her first sentence alone made my day. :) "The moment I began reading, the Crown of Anavrea, I was hooked." I think now is a good time for a happy dance. :)

A New Chapter in Wren's Story

Wren's story feels like it is starting to gain momentum. It is hard to keep the energy going when the chapters get written so far apart, but I think I am managing it. Feel free to stop by and tell me if you think the suspense is working. :)

I have been very busy trying to promote my current published works in the moments I can steal away from life. With school starting my moments are getting smaller and less frequent, but I shall not forget to keep writing and promoting.

Later this month (S...

School Starts Today

I know it sounds weird coming from the mother of a toddler (who is too young for school), but I am excited to start this school season. I coach writing students through an online company during the school year. This year, especially, I have missed the interaction and the learning process for both them and me.

Yes, I, the teacher, learn. Perhaps more than the students. I learn about how to best communicate with different personalities as I try to give constructive criticism and explain new ...

Ah, the joys of writing. The taste of the perfect phrase is like candy to a writer. We slave over the keyboard or page for hours just to sample one more bit of the candy.

I am back!

Life is still stressful and overfull, but I am decently sure that I can squeeze some blogging and writing time in the cracks now. My thoughts are definitely turning back to my writing. I find myself planning the next chapter of Wren's story and itching for an intense plotting session for Ethan & Mariah. Yes, I haven't forgotten them either.

In fact, I have the potential for more direction in their story. I was reading a Regency Mystery Romance and realized that I was writing a mystery into E
