P047:Shall I Pursue?
In this episode, I give examples, share tips on how you can be successful in business by using this strategy David used to be successful in fighting battles.
You can read what happens to David here.
My blog post here. (Shall I Pursue?)
Freedom as an Entrepreneur here.
The Purpose of this podcast is to SHOW and GIVE examples of how to do business God’s way. Letting you know that there is a better way to doing business. In the podcast I talk about being a Mary Kay rep and doing business the way everyone else is…YOU DON’T HAVE TO! YOU ARE NOT BOND by doing things they way other Mary Kay reps are doing it. The stress, the headaches, the late nights, you DO NOT HAVE do things their way. GOD has strategies, just like He told David to go. There are TONS of examples that GOD told His people to do “Out-of-the-box” things to get their desired result.
Here are some examples:
-Naaman Healed of Leprosy (2 Kings 5:1-19)
-Jesus Cleanses Ten Lepers (Luke 17:11-19)
-Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind (John 9)
-The walls of Jericho (Joshua 6)
-For more strategies check out my book: S.M.A.R.T. Goals for Christian Entrepreneurs.
These are just 4 out of MANY examples God has in His word of Jesus healing, giving strategies, that were not typical, that brought success to the person or His people. God is AMAZING. Heading into 2016, I want to see MORE AMAZING things God wants to do in my business, my marriage and household, without the stress, headaches, sweat and tears that comes with being an entrepreneur. I WANT to do it God’s way, Allowing God to be God in my business and experiencing the exceedingly and abundantly in every area of my life (Ephesians 3:20-21).
Take away points:
-You don’t have to rely on your strengths and abilities.
-Seek God first in ALL you do (Matthew 6:33)
-God called you to be an Entrepreneur, Seek Him for the strategies.
What do you want going into 2016 for your business, personal and life?

Freedom as an Entrepreneur
This whole year as been such a different mind shift for me. A shift in my thinking, how I do things, even how I’m going into 2016 as an entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur is more than doing whatever I want to do in my business, waking up whenever I want to, taking vacations and playing with my kids whenever I want.
When I wrote my book S.M.A.R.T. Goals for the Christian Entrepreneur, I talked about the process God took me through to get to where I am now. Turley experiencing what it means to live FREE as an entrepreneur. I finished writing about completing my goals for 2015 and getting ready to prepare for 2016.
For re-defining freedom as an entrepreneur is really trusting God in my business. Allowing Him to be God in my life, getting into His presence and experiencing His peace, love and wisdom in my life and business.
I’m walking in total FREEDOM. His word says in Psalm 119:45-“I walk about in FREEDOM because I have sought out your word.” the word also says in 2 Corinthians 3:17-“…Where the spirit of the Lord is there’s FREEDOM.” When you truly walk in His ways, seek Him First (Matthew 6:33) and Allow God to be God in your life and business, you will to walk in freedom.
I’m walking in total FREEDOM as an Entrepreneur! #adrivenwife

Like, I stated in the previous paragraphs you can do whatever you want, come and go as you please but in building a business, when there is still work to be done. Doing the work, Stressing about money or feeling like a failure is the stress that comes with working a business, but when you do it God’s way, when you allow God to be God in your business, the responsiblity is on God to what His word says. Your responsibility to find out what His word says concerning you and the business He’s called you to.
Psalm 119:45-“I walk about in FREEDOM because I have sought out your word.” #adrivenwife

The beginning of this year, I wrote about the Weariness of being an entrepreneur and Surviving the dark nights as an entrepreneur and how it can sometimes be depressing. What I’m trying to share with you guys is that you don’t have to have EVERYTHING figured out in your business, or your 3 to 5 year plan for your business, It’s all about what Is God doing in this season of your life and business and walk THAT out instead of what is the typical thing to do in your business industry. I also wrote a blog post called: Shall I pursue? and it’s about the story of David seeking God first before going based on his feelings, strengths and abilities. I share what happens when he gets instructions from God on what to do next, David was blessed!
You don’t have to have EVERYTHING figured out in your business! #adrivenwife

In Conclusion, I’m walking in Freedom, because I know, I don’t have to have everything planned when God is the CEO of my business, I’m following His orders and strategies and not looking to what everyone else is doing.

Problems with circulation
This is a sponsored post.
Circulation, that is flow of blood through organism, represents key to longevity. It allows transfer of oxygen and other important substance to tissues thus feeding them and allowing them elimination of all waste products. Circulatory system of a person consists of blood vessels which connect all systems within an organism. Besides oxidation and nutrition, it also has an important function for hormones. As long as this system is in balance, entire organism will function within its optimum, regularly performing all the necessary tasks. But, if someone disturbs it, person can face imminent health hazard. Bad circulation is one of the most common causes of death. It commonly leads to heart attack and stroke. This medical problem is based on improper diet, unhealthy habits such as smoking, lack of activity as well as improper treatment of chronic diseases. You can buy Clopidogrel online to quickly remedy this issue.
Fat particles which are flowing through our blood (cholesterol, triglycerides and lipoproteins) are necessary for tissue. But, some of them can be dangerous for our health such as low density lipoproteins otherwise known as LDL. If this substance is present in high concentration, it will lead to formation of plaque and atheroma on inner side of arteries. They reduce diameter of arteries and also reduce their elasticity which increases chance of bursting. If surface of atheroma is damaged, it will lead to creation of blood clot which can significantly or fully clog the artery and cause problems such as stroke or heart attack. Specialists from You! Drugstore warn patients that atheroma gradually grow over longer period of time making symptoms more and more noticeable. Besides fat particles, there are other factors that can contribute to damage of arteries such as presence of nicotine.
But, arteries are not the only one that can be damaged. Circulatory issues are often caused by disturbance to veins. They have much different structure from arteries. Veins have many valves (ramps which are positioned on every few centimeters allowing one way flow of blood to heart. Given that they lack muscle tissue which can push out blood, valves are very important for keeping circulation going. Vein circulation is also affected by muscle work. During contraction, muscles help pump blood towards heart. So, after long-term inactivity, valve weakening or inflammations, vein blood will not be pushed as it should be. This can also lead to formation of clots, usually in deep veins.
Clopidogrel can be a good solution to your issue. It is especially good for all those who are in immediate danger of stroke or heart attack. Doctors also recommend it in conjunction with aspirins in order to treat chest pain and to keep blood vessels open after medical procedure. It can also prevent creation of blood clots. Clopidogrel prevents creation of platelets and them sticking to walls of arteries. This is an oral drug and it is should be used once daily. However, dosage depends on particular case, age and weight of the patient.

Update on Silk Spa Creations as of 2015
It has taken so much strength to admit what I’m about to share with you guys, I realize I didn’t make an announcement about it and this is my updated official statement in 2015…
I am (at this time and season) no longer doing Silk Spa Creations, as of right now it will be on pause or hold until God says otherwise. This was a REALLY HARD decision for me to make, because I’ve poured SO MUCH of myself into it, for years and there is still a lot of growing and cultivating that needs to be made in the business but with much prayer and faith, I moved forward with the hold.
For those that don’t know what Silk Spa Creations is, it is my bath & body shop. Where I handmade bath & body products from head to toe. I made Massage candles, sugar scrubs, hair and body oils (Which is still VERY popular!), bath soaks, pomade (which was my newest products), hair and body wash, etc. I LOVE making it and still have some products I have given away or sold to customers.
This is VERY difficult for me. I imagine so many possibilities for this business and was looking forward to so many things God has shown me in where this business was going, I’ve been doing this for sometime now, about 5 to 6 years and I thought I was going to die basically doing this business. Providing for my family and maybe even passing it down to my children. I am not sure what God is going to do with this business but I feel VERY strongly that right now in this season, it will be on hold, or on pause until God says other wise. I never done anything like this before, taking a step like this is NEW, SCARY, and is taking a WHOLE A LOT OF FAITH.
While that is on hold, God has open doors for me to write a book (and in the process of writing 2 books) and speaking about my LOVE and PASSION for Christ in the marketplace.
Going into 2016, I’m walking by faith LIKE NEVER BEFORE and seeing God doing BIG THINGS, in this new business venture He has me on, is BLOWING my mind and BLESSING my socks off and I can’t wait to see what He has for me in the coming years. Taking this leap of faith, without seeing the whole picture takes TRUST IN GOD I’ve never experienced before. This was actually a list of goals for 2015!
This year has been a complete SUCCESS! I am leaning and trusting in God like never before, experiencing walking out my purpose and so much more has been such a blessing to me, I CANNOT wait for 2016, to see what He has in store for me.
Which is exactly where God wants me to be heading into 2016… Be Blessed!

Shall I Pursue? #adrivenwife
Around this time of year everyone is planning their success in their business for 2016. I even wrote a few posts concerning that, 5 Ways to finish strong in 2015, Success as a money-making mom, leap into your success as an entrepreneur, and more, but I want to share a different perspective with you… In the bible (1 Samuel 30), there’s a story about David, He’s coming from battle, came home to find that his hometown had been destroyed by fire, His family taken, his people sons, daughters and wives were taken and all their possessions. They find out that no one was killed but was taken to be used as slaves by the enemy. The bible even shared that David was greatly distressed because his people spoke about stoning him, because of what happen (1 Samuel 30:6).
Now David next step was crucial in the victory needed to come against an army/enemy that has taken all his and his people possessions, #1-He NEED to get his family back and save them. #2-He’s a leader, people are talking about stoning him. #3- Repair his home town. David could have relied on his own strength to get his family and stuff back, He also could have relied on his experienced, David has been fighting battles FOR YEARS! In his distressed state he could have reacted based on his feelings, what was going on around him and what his people were about to do.
What I LOVE about this story is (Besides the happy ending) what comes next. The bible says that David inquired of the Lord saying: “Shall I Pursue?” Now, To me… PRAYING about whether to go after your family AND your people families and possessions seem to me like a CRAZY move… OF COURSE DAVID! GO GET YOUR FAMILY!!! Why do you need to pray about that, its simple right?! David knew where his success, in fighting battles came from, He didn’t rely on his own strength, his abilities or experience he relied on GOD. I LOVE this story, because David’s response wasn’t typical behavior, He sought after God first before moving forward. (If you want to read the whole story, Read 1 Samuel 30:1-20)
As entrepreneurs we can take a lesson from the bible, from David’s story to apply in our own lives. We can make decisions based on our own strengths, our own abilities and experiences but what outcome will it bring to our business? I’m in business, an entrepreneur not because it was a last option for me, my last name, because I’ve been an entrepreneur my entire life, since coming out of the womb…NO! Actually, I didn’t grow up thinking I was EVER going to own my own business, I was working a 9 to 5 and I was ok with that, thinking I was going to die, working for someone else. God had other plans for my life. He called me to be an entrepreneur and the same is for you. You are not an entrepreneur because of your gifts, strengths or experience, It’s because God called you and the success of your business lie’s in you seeking God first (Matthew 6:33). I write and talk about this in my book; S.M.A.R.T. Goals for the Christian Entrepreneur. If you don’t know the first step, I show you how in the book.
You are not an entrepreneur because of your gifts, strengths or experience, It’s because God called…

When David prayed to God asking Shall he pursue, the Lord answered David by saying…GO! and told David that he will be successful in rescuing the captives (1 Samuel 30:8). When David went, He went with the power of God, God’s strength, knowing with confidence that, God will be with him and that he will rescue the captives, get his possessions with Help from God. In this story of pursuing after WHAT IS YOURS, is that God is getting the glory and not David. The story is the same for your life. God will get the glory and not you. The life you live is about God’s glory and not yours. Trust that God has your best in mind when it comes to your business and seek God first for the answer, don’t base your goals for 2016 on your emotions, your experiences, your strength and your abilities. Base it on what God instructed you to do. The question you can ask God in your goals in business for 2016 is… SHALL I PURSUE?
The success of your business lie’s in you seeking God first (Matthew 6:33).

5 ways your business can Finish strong in 2015!
Take a step back and evaluate your business
Be consistent
Use your mentors and support team
Show your gratitude and heart
Do a health, fitness or well-being check up
1- Take a step back and evaluate your business
This is stepping back and writing down what has God called me to do and ask yourself AM I DOING IT? Did I put the plan, idea, desire in the back burner and forgot about it? or did I take the necessary steps to achieve the goals God has put in your heart.
2- Be Consistent
This doesn’t mean work so hard that you are forgetting the most important people around you . It means be consistent in seeking God’s face for directions, for strategies, He has called you into business, what is He showing you on how to go about it? Sometimes it’s not what we may think it is… Seek Gods face for the answer and He will show you.
3- Talk with your mentors and support team
This year having a support team was VERY important to me. Having a group of friends that are headed in the same direction as you is so REWARDING. Having a support team can help you see things from others perspective. Sometimes when we’re growing our business, we get so involved in the trenches that we don’t see our progress or the changes we have made. Having a support team can also guide you in areas you might need help in. As we help others to succeed we succeed ourselves.
4-Show your gratitude and heart
Not only with your support team, clients or customers but those that have played a HUGE part in the success of your business. Send a personal card of thanks, put on an appreciation party for your customers or clients to show how much you are grateful for believing in your and your business. ultimately thankful to God for even giving you that business idea, the strength to do it and for blessing it to be successful. You are not successful because you did everything everyone else did but success/money comes from God and ultimately you want to give HIM the glory.
5-Do a health, fitness or well-being check up
Finally do a check up on your health. We always start the year with health and fitness Goals lets, Let’s finish the year and evaluate not JUST your business but where you are with your health. In my book, I talk about self-care and how important it is to fill yourself up with not only the word of God, but time to everyday to seek God’s face, so you can go out and be effective in the marketplace. Our mental, physical and spiritual well-being all play a part in the success of our business.
Take a step back with your health goals, did you finish strong? If not, you still have time to finish all that God has planned for you in your health, emotional, spiritual and business THIS YEAR!
Ingredients to Success
Take 1 gallon of God’s instructions
Add a pinch of FATIH
With a teaspoon of Humility
A tablespoon of Discipline
Fold in S.M.A.R.T. Goals
Yield: A heart that is transformed and Success in every area of your life for HIS glory!

Leap into your success as an entrepreneur!
A few weeks ago, I was able to take a nice, relaxing weekend to the mountains at a women’s retreat my church was having here in California. I was looking forward to getting away and spending some quiet time with the Lord. I was even more excited that this particular place had activities like, Zip lining, high rope course, horse back riding, etc. I was really excited to try it, even though I’m DEATHLY afraid of heights, I felt it wasn’t too bad.
Well, when I got there everything was great, I was having a great time getting to know women I didn’t really know, quiet time with God was AMAZING, we had fun doing arts and crafts, it was a great time. Then there was an option to go out and check out the activities. I was excited to go on the High rope course, I checked it out and that was too high for me. Then I went zip lining, I thought, this wasn’t too high for me, I can do it… When I got to the top of the stairs and actually saw how high it was, I FROZE! When I saw, where I was going and what it took for me to get there, it was TERRIBLE. I sat there for 30 MINUTES! I was TERRIFIED! I sat at the top for so long that the guy in charge said that I either had to jump or get off. I made the decision to go and it was VERY SCARY at first but I finally relaxed and enjoyed the ride!
That WHOLE experience during that time I had in the mountains was invigorating!!! I had a great time, faced my fear of heights and had fun along the way. Which got me thinking that this is the type of experience God desires for us to have in BUSINESS! I know your thinking what does this story have to do with business. Well, I’m glad you asked. When God calls you into business, into something you are VERY EXCITED about, which is what happen with me. I LOVED the idea of speaking about my book and testimony. God called me to step out, at this time, my bath & body business is on pause and God has me walking in a totally different direction. This was definitely scary and out of my comfort zone, but when I took that step or leap into the plan God had for me, I’ve experienced, hearing stories of God doing AMAZING things in their lives, after reading my book, people have become unstuck in their businesses and FINALLY experiencing that peace they’ve been looking for.
My point is…
TAKE that leap of faith!
Click To Tweet
God wants to do so much in our lives that we can’t even imagine it. He wants to do the exceedingly and abundantly (Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV) in our lives, we just have to let HIM. I was TERRIFIED of taking that first step at the zip lining course, but when I did, I experienced a ride, I couldn’t come up with myself. Sometimes when God gives you a vision, or dream and you step out and do it, sometimes it can be scary or when you don’t see the whole picture and you step out, feels just as scary, either way,
TAKE THAT STEP OR LEAP and you will experience a ride LIKE NEVER BEFORE.

P045: Finish strong in 2015 #adrivenwife
Here are some steps to help finish the year strong in your business, marriage and life in general.
Steps to finish the year strong …
-Continue to commit to hearing from God.
As you have started the year off with passion and conviction to do all God has put into your heart to do, let’s go into the new year of 2016, with that same passion and conviction, even now, heading towards the end of the year, to hearing all that God has for us, not just based on numbers or what worked and what didn’t work in our business, but on what God has told you to do, did you do it? When you spend time in prayer always carry a notebook and pen to write down what God is doing or what He has put in your heart. When you do this, I know this to be true, you are positing yourself for God to move MIGHTILY in your life.
Position yourself for God to move MIGHTILY in your life. #adrivenwife
Click To Tweet
-Commit to walking out your dream/vision.
When God has shown you where He’s taking you and you haven’t reached their yet, continue to stay in prayer and commit to the journey. DO NOT give up, hang in there. With God all things are possible (Philippians 4:13) even when you don’t see it yet. His word says: “We live by faith and not by sight.” The (NIV) says live and the (KJV) says “we walk by faith.” The point is, its a lifestyle to believe God at His word, not by what we see is working in business, in our own efforts but its ALL ABOUT GOD and what He is doing in our hearts and lives.
Stay in prayer and commit to the journey. DON’T QUIT! #smartgoals
Click To Tweet
-Commit to stepping out of your comfort zone.
I wrote and talked about it on the podcast, the time I went to a women’s retreat and did the zip lining course. Stepping out of my comfort zone and facing my fear of heights. Stepping out of your comfort zone is where you will see God do amazing things, and I experienced that by stepping out as a speaker and author. This has happen in 2015 for me and I feel so alive, fulfilled and at peace with everything God is doing in my life, marriage, household and business. There’s truly a FREEDOM (as an entrepreneur) I experience, just by allowing God to be God in your life.
Allowing God to be God in your life.
Click To Tweet
My last point… Stepping out of your comfort zone, also allows you to see the dreams and desires God has placed on the inside of you to see. In the book of Joshua, the Israelites were on the way to the land of “Milk and Honey,” a land that God promised them. When the Israelites were preparing to enter the Promised Land, they were told, the way they had to go was a direction they had never been before, It was different and unfamiliar (Joshua 3:4). In order for them to see, you have to step out of your comfort zone and sometimes that means going in a different direction God is leading you.
Step out of your comfort zone!
Click To Tweet
Fear has a way of trying to stop you from ever trying, but faith takes action! You have to cast out thoughts of failure, insecurity, doubt, etc. and take them captive and MAKE THEM obedient to the lifestyle of Jesus Christ. YOU ARE NOT a failure, YOU ARE NOT insecure (God knew you before He called you into that area). You had purpose before you started walking out that purpose, God knew you, with all your faults and insecurities and yet God has called you. Doubt and fear will stop you from stepping out… The What If… The what happen, The maybe’s, etc and you haven’t even taken the chance to do it, you formed the reasons in your mind already before it even happen. 10x times out of 10 we are forming these conclusions and end up wrong.
Don’t fall into the lies, God has soo much more for you! #smartgoals
Click To Tweet
In conclusion… To help you along the way, in your entrepreneurship Journey, I talk about really achieving all that God has for you in every are of your life, just by sharing my testimony of How being so purpose driven in business that it hurt my marriage and really experiencing the success God has for you in EVERY AREA of your life: Marriage, finances, a peace of mind, etc. I talk about that in my new book: S.M.A.R.T. Goals for Christian Entrepreneurs.
Experience the success God has for you in your business and life, finish STRONG in 2015!#smartgoals

Holidays is around the corner! #iTunesBBB15
It’s never too early to start thinking about getting that gift to that special someone. I’m going to share with you the top 3 ways that can hinder us from getting that gift, to that special someone…
#1- Time. We can be too busy to get gifts for everyone on our list.
#2- Having the time to think about what special, “out of the box’ gift we can give to that someone.

Well I want to help take the guess-work out of all that and help you get that gift to that special person. Whether it’s a teacher that went the extra mile, a co-worker that’s always showing you kindness, or it could be a neighbor that is always on the look for you and helps you along the way.
