What the Last Two Years Taught us About Faith
Where were you the moment you heard about the country going into a national lockdown?
I’ll go first: during those days, I was a stay-at-home mom. Self-care then was (and still is) a priority to me. My husband agreed to keep the kids while I took a self-care day to get out of the house and act like a normal adult.
Naturally, I wanted to spend time in a coffee shop reading a great book.

Partnering Faith With Works
You’ve been working an entry level position in your field for three years, however, you feel ready for a more experienced position. As a novice, you studied and studied, even picking up new information as you could get it into your hands. You’re faithful in your position and often receive compliments for your willingness to serve others.
Yet, you’re still in the same position you have been for the last 36 months.

Faith in the Midst of Turmoil
The world is beginning to develop some form of normalcy after two years of global lockdown.
With it, the financial implications of the COVID-19 pandemic are finally being felt — higher gas prices, more demand with limited supply, and inflation in the housing market.
Nationally, a recession looms. Families that could barely make ends meet before may find themselves in more dire straits.
My husband and I are true-bred 90s babies — or, as the media has dubbed us, millennials.

When Life is Beyond Our Control
Naptime at my house is chaos. My toddler gets a daily thrill out of pushing his nap back as late as possible. After 30 minutes of watching him walk around his bedroom in an endless circle, rummaging through toys I haven't seen him touch in months, I've reached the limit of my patience. The end result is usually tears and protests.

Shifting the Work Environment
We’ve all been there: punching the clock at a job we, frankly, hate. Not even the pandemic could repair our relationship with our work. Each morning we drive into the parking lot, slam the car door in agony, and walk to our desk, secretly hoping this will be the day the-powers-that-be sack us.
