In my previous article, we discussed the need to have divine awareness of those around us. This is a good start, but do we have true godly desire to serve others? The level of godly desire we maintain directly affects our emotional ability to fulfill our marketplace mission. On-Mission Faith – Building an Awareness of Others in the Marketplace

Whether you are retired, in the workforce, or simply looking for work, we all have opportunities to share Jesus with others in the marketplace. However, we often find ourselves pressed for time in our daily lives, moving at the speed of chaos, often at the expense of divine opportunities to minister to others. We must remember that we may be the only Jesus others see as light before them (Matthew 5:14–16). Our consideration of others is the foundation for an awareness of them, especially those we work with.
Unto the Least of These – Building an Awareness of Others
Even as Christians, we can live hurried and fast-paced lifestyles.

The Command to Be Quiet – Matthew 16:20

In Matthew 16:20, Jesus instructs the disciples not to tell anyone that he is the Messiah. This seems contradictory because we are called to share our faith with others. However, in this specific instance, Jesus had a set number of tasks to accomplish, including fulfilling Old Testament prophecies. If too many people knew too much too quickly, it would have been difficult for Jesus to complete his mission.
After his resurrection, Jesus gave the Great Commission to the disciples, instructing them to go and make disciples of all nations.
