We can follow the example of the apostles by being intentional about sharing our faith with others.

The Cost of Obedience – Acts 5:40

In Acts 5:40, the apostles Peter and John were flogged and ordered not to speak in the name of Jesus after being released from jail. Despite this unfair treatment, they rejoiced and continued to preach the gospel.

As followers of Christ, we may also face unfair treatment and challenging circumstances. It’s important to be prepared for these situations and to trust God to make things right. We should not whine or complain, but instead, we should ask God to use our circumstances for His glory.

It’s important to have ambition, but our ambition should be centered on Christ, not on stuff, rewards, or accolades. We should aim to follow Jesus and do His will, rather than pursuing our own selfish desires.

Rise Again – Proverbs 24:16

This verse tells us that it is okay to fail. Everyone fails at some point in their lives. The important thing is to get back up and try again.

We can learn from our failures and become stronger as a result. When we stumble, we should not give up.
