It’s time! Just in time for the 150th anniversary of Alice In Wonderland next month, my dark re-telling, Meditations In Wonderland, is now available on Amazon and B&N!
Go on, my Alice, you little freak. You’ve been pent up for a few years, waiting for this moment. Show them what you’re made of.
I’m so excited to hear your thoughts on her, and the book as a whole!
Go on, heart. Be brave.

Honored to be showcased on Tumblr Book News! Pinch me!
After reading it for so long it felt surreal to see Meditations greeting me from the page.
Just in time for the 150th anniversary of Alice In Wonderland on Thanksgiving next week! Why not celebrate with a little Alice after your pie?

A New Adventure in Wonderland
Hey Tumblr,
If you haven’t already read Meditations in Wonderland by Anna Patrick you’re 100% missing out.
As life winds down during the holidays, do yourself a favor and make this story your next literary escape.
Check out an excerpt from one of my favorite scenes here:
“Someone more compassionate and braver than me,” she said between deep exhales.
Just then, a tree branch hit her right in the chest, knocking the wind out of her. She laid flat on her back, the salt of her willing tears stinging her eyes, pricking them like the rough branches that grazed her skin. Her lungs felt empty. She took handuls of leaves and ash into her fists, as she pushed herself upright.
She had to stop running.
..if you want to read more, you’ll have to order it for yourself!
Aww shucks thanks girl!
I have to say one of the most enjoyable parts of the book publishing process for me so far have been hearing what scenes stick out the most to friends, family, readers, critics. We all take away something different, and I think that’s a beautiful thing. Especially from this particular girl who happens to be one of my best and dearest friends and is kickass writer too!
So let me know what shouts out to you! And the 150th anniversary of Alice is a week from tomorrow if you haven’t picked up your copy yet and want to get festive.
