Like the Tidal Sea,

Lingers Breathlessly in me;

Shifting,

Like Waves upon the Shore,

Whispering Patiently, More and More.

Memory,

Like the Azurine Deep,

Reminds me of the Secrets I Keep;

Dancing,

Like the Endless Ocean,

Waxing and Waning in Perpetual Motion.

Máni was the Moon god of Norse mythology. Brother of shining sister Sól, son of mortal Mundilfari. Seen by the gods as arrogant after Mundilfari named his children “moon” and “sun”, they were banished to the heavens where Máni guided the moon and looked after its’ waxing and waning.

Luxurious Dichotomy Reaching into the mist,

Waking the listless, restlessness inside

Transforming the gloom to Radiant Light,

With gifts of Purpose and Sweet Clarity

Inspired by Quietness, Calming the sea,

Touching all that lies Unspoken

Words of Thought, Unheeded, In Token

Of hours spent, wakeful and pale

Gentle Expression so Powerfully frail

As the Spirit Sings

In Sweet Lullabies of Musing

Beyond all that Life commands confusing,

Touching the Heart with its Delicate Hand

Whispering Soft

So we Understand.
