When All Others have, in Passion, made their Plight,

And Songs of Praise and Adoration, Bending,

Shall Cast their lot adrift with blinded sight,

My Love Holds Fast, through words forgotten, Sending.

Where Vast arrays of Gazes Greet Your Day,

And Promises of Perplexity Beguile,

While Honeyed-lips Mouth oaths like Darling May,

My Love Waits Softly, with Patient Smile.

Yet, if Your Stunning Gaze should Seek for More

Than Fallacy and Avarice might richly Plunder,

Perchance, these words that Tenderly Implore

Shall scatter lies like broken glass, asunder.

While Memory betwixt Us Sings her Tune,

To these False Pawns let not your Heart Beat, Immune.

In Your Presence,

While the Hours Shift,

And Midnight turns,

The Palest Moon and Transcending stars,

Ask only for Your Smile,

Like a Rhapsody of Diamonds.

Bide the hours of Silver Lethargy

Symposium of shadows in swirling haze

Mocking the Glimmers of Brightest daytide

As words and music shrivel and fade

Silence beckons in Silver Lethargy

Whispers Unheard serrating

As Darkness Grasps with manacle claws

And Laughter echoes, Mimicking and Prating

Silver whims and ebon sighs

Leeching from the cowl of night

As heartbeats pause and breath subsides

Waken to Emptiness

Live in Fright!

Darkness Sings in the Witching hour,

As spectres writhe in Sublime Masquerade,

Witless watching goes unnoticed

While worries and doubt march in Parade;

Shadows spiraling in the ebon void,

Calamity slurking into the Lush Unknown,

Colours fading into blankness

As Daytide waits, muted and prone;

Delicate Splendour reaches in irony

As all that is stale encroaches and bides;

Mists of Memory murmuring mundanely,

As Silence floods in,

A Most Harrowing Tide.
