When I wanna pen something extremely personal, without actually revealing anything, I just write it in spanish or turkish. If you wanna study the mountain, study the mainstream work – but if you wanna learn about the person, study the turkish and spanish portion of my work.

That’s why most of the titles of my works are in turkish or spanish – because I can’t write a single word unless I feel the title boiling in my blood – and although English is unofficially the first language of earth, because of its savage imperialist history, it is neither the profoundest nor the most beautiful language on earth.

Does that mean, we should wipe out english from the world altogether? Of course not – that would be yet another boneheaded exercise in bigotry and intolerance. Instead, what’s really needed is a genuine humane intention to create a truly magnificent multilingual society – towards a multicultural world. Learn to look beyond the puny confines of one petty language, because the world is too grand to be wasted in the gutter of one language and one culture. Every culture is my culture, every country is mine – defiant descendants of divided ancestors, hand in hand we shall fly.

Narcissism has a time and place, cold detachment has a time and place. Problem is, we’ve made a world out of narcissism and detachment, while hypocritically diagnosing them as clinical on one hand, and sugarcoating them as self-care or stoicism on the other. In reality, it’s all nonsense. When people are upset at you, with no fault of your own, or when they come to take away your dream, that’s when you gotta let detachment kick on. Likewise, when shallow nitwits commit harm in front of your eyes, that’s when you gotta exercise your narcissism, and treat them like a parent would treat their child when they’ve done something wrong. Even the ugliest of animal faculty can be used for good, when wielded with conscience. It’s about using the whole of your mind, rather than giving in to all the prehistoric intellectual dualities of narcissism and altruism, or attachment and detachment. When people are helpless, to them be a christ – but when they behave heartless instead, be the light to their lies.

When you are humble and simple, the entire world knocks on your door to bask in your light. But when you are too full of yourself, one after another you’ll keep losing life’s most priceless treasures – those that really matter.

अहं ब्रह्माण्डस्मि।

Eres conciencia, eres el cosmos.
Gönül görmezse göz de görmez.

To put all this plainly – consciousness contains the cosmos. Once you feel this in your heart, all the answers, all the solutions, all the light will boldly pour out of your nerves and veins like monsoon rain.

But one thing you must remember –
what the heart doesn’t feel,
the eyes cannot see.
And there is no greater obstacle
to vision than rigidity.

Declutter is the sensible way forward,
So I moved from Windows to Chrome OS.
Less cluttered in mind and machine,
More you shall find the peaceful pace.

Note that I didn’t make a mention of iOS,
even though it bears an element of declutter.
Declutter monetized at a ridiculous price tag,
is worse than the most cockeyed clutter.

Declutter and Undisparity, these are
the lifeblood of sustainability.
And there can be no sustainability,
so long as there are vanity and luxury.

Intoxicated by the clutter of luxury,
World chases happiness with no avail.
Health and happiness will come chasing,
Once you learn to live humble and simple.

Anybody can be a singer using Autotune,
Using ChatGPT anybody can be a writer.
But I’m yet to find an AI that can compose,
Love thy neighbor, or love has no gender.

Yet the problem is, neither human
nor AI can detect AI generation.
The world is already being flooded
with soulless, deceitful creation.

In the midst of such grave misgivings,
Honor alone can bring illumination.
Before you place anyone on pedestal,
Observe character beyond the creation.

Even I use photoshop, to enhance my covers,
But the words beneath are unvarnished Naskar.
AI can be a great help if you know how to
use it honorably, so originality is empowered.

Justifying human rights violation as
necessary evil may be habit of politicians.
Scientists must be wiser than that, otherwise,
Science is just a weapon of mass destruction.

Scientist without humanity is anything but scientist,
Science without humanity is anything but science.
Civilized scientists work for the progress of humanity,
Primitive scientists work for the progress of science.

Progress of science is not necessarily progress of humanity,
Particularly when science advances trampling human life.
World leaders may brush off such matter as collateral,
To a scientist with spine nothing is higher than human life.

Whole world is in our care, beyond all law and politics.
We are capable, we are accountable – we are the scientists!”

Intolerance is the Enemy, not Illogicality | Abhijit Naskar | Visvavictor

Intolerance is the enemy, not illogicality. Argumentation without empathy is just hate speech. If someone is doing no harm, then who the hell are you to take away their fantasy! On occasion, healthy fantasy does indeed turn into harmful superstition – at that point it is the duty of every conscientious human to stand up to such superstition. Until then, keep your judgment to yourself.

You can never be a first class human being, until you have learnt to have some regard for human frailty.

The problem is not that we believe in a lot of weird stuff, the problem is that often we end up confusing our belief with reality. Keep your belief if you need, no matter how illogical it is, but always be observant of your belief. Be the believer as well as the observer of the believer. In your mind be a child as well as the guardian of the child. Allow yourself some fantasy if it’s not doing any harm, but never let it run amok.

Let me put it to you another way – a little bit of fantasy actually enhances your mental faculties. Which means, just like there is such a thing as too much fantasy, there is also such a thing as too much logic. Apply logic where logic is needed, permit fantasy where fantasy does good. Learn to be flexible, learn to be human.

If you want to move to a country where there is no human rights issue, you’d have to move to a different planet. No country is perfect, it doesn’t have to be. As long as there are citizens who value progress over propaganda, and rights over ritual, there is hope for the country yet.”
