Robo Sapiens (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | The Humanitarian Dictator

Artificial Intelligence could be
the greatest boon in accessibility,
yet AI enthusiasm is exhausted in
grotesque plagiarism and pomposity.

Tech giants of today suffer
from the worst kind of handicap
of all, lack of human perspective.
Till you treat this common coldness,
all innovation is mere fancy gimmick.

Innovation has power to lift the world,
yet it has become toys of privilege.
Cyborg souls sell cyborg machines,
beastly grotesque and senseless.

Once upon a time in the future,
robovans will carry robo-sapiens,
apes advanced in feats of silicon,
yet degraded in feats of sentience.

Accessibility is Humanity (Sonnet) – Abhijit Naskar, Neurosonnets

I wanted my mind to be accessible to everyone,
so I started translating my core ideas into as
many languages as I can phonetically make sense.
I wanted to be visible further beyond the eyes,
so, lacking braille, I started recording my voice.

I have a scientist brain, sufi heart, and a monk
spirit – I don’t need to outsource any faculty.
I am capable, I am incorruptible, I am alive –
I need no one’s charity to uphold my humanity.

No backing, only backbone.
No benefactor, only brain power.
No industry, only integrity.
No contract, only character.

Exclusivity breeds jungle, inclusivity makes society.
Vip access is for animals, accessibility is humanity.

Most Human (Sonnet 2151) – Abhijit Naskar, The God Sonnets

Racism is no longer tolerated as normal,
Islamophobia is no longer tolerated as normal,
Homophobia is no longer tolerated as normal,
Chauvinism is no longer tolerated as normal,
Colonialism is no longer tolerated as normal –

believe you me, I speak as a biologist,
this is the most human humanity have
ever been in our 200,000 years long history.

Accessibility is no longer ignored as unimportant,
Autism is no longer frowned upon as abnormal,
Integration is no longer cussed as act of stigma,
Intolerance no longer celebrated as divine intervention.

No wonder bigots have their knickers in a twist,
customs of the jungle are getting eradicated like disease.
Don’t be disheartened by occasional resurgence of fascism,
inhumanity flickers fiercely before fading into the abyss.

“Proof of the Sapiens is in the sharing.” ― Abhijit Naskar, Sonnets From The Mountaintop

If a 3 pound brain can contain
a 100 billion nerve cells,
a planet with land the size of 20bn stadiums
should have room for 10 billion people.

Then how come, so many
have to survive on so little,
on a planet this size, this rich!

It all comes down to hoarding – if we
cared more about social responsibility
than social etiquette, we wouldn’t have
such drastic paradoxes of disparity.

In English we say:
proof of the pudding is in the eating.
In Naskarian we say:
proof of the Sapiens is in the sharing.
