Throwback Thursday
A year ago on this day in history, famed Maya Angelou passed away. She showed us the power of her words. The first book I ever read of Maya Angelou's was "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings." It was the first book she wrote, but she didn't stop there. She wrote books, poems, children's books, screenplays and also recorded an album.
Her words knew no bounds and today I remember her and the inspiration that her life represents.

Where Does Help Come From?
Have you ever been in a situation where your first thought was to ask for prayers? Then upon further contemplation, you discounted the idea? No? Well maybe I'm the only one. ;)
