Starting the Year Off Right
After Christmas, many people tend to think about resolutions for the coming new year. This year be sure to include some spiritual resolutions too. Maybe you want to attend church more regularly. Better yet, consider spending more time praying and reading the Bible. God has given us the ability to achieve a host of things through the power of our wills.
Here’s another resolution to consider: Giving more to God’s work through your local church and ministries like this one.
Why would you want to do that?
Consider these scriptures:
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing, that there will not be room enough to receive it. – Malachi 3:10 MEV
The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will be watered also himself. – Proverbs 11:25 MEV
Give, and it will be given to you: Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will men give unto you. For with the measure you use, it will be measured unto you. – Luke 6:38
See, when you give faithfully to God, He will in return bless your life. Dave Williams says, “When you put first what’s on God’s heart, God will put first what’s on your heart.”
It’s a guaranteed way to make sure your New Year gets off to the best start possible. Making a resolution to give to God, and put him first in your life, is guaranteed to bring you blessed rewards.
We have a chance in the next few days to end 2017 well and get a jump on our resolve to be more generous in 2018. Please consider a special year-end gift.

Quantum Leap
How would you like to take a journey that very few will take—an adventure into a fresh dimension of God’s presence and God’s supernatural provision? Have you ever experienced lack in your home or your business? Do you wish to step into a higher level of resources and even an inexhaustible supply? You can, if you understand the iron laws for a quantum leap.
What is a Quantum Leap?
The term, quantum leap is a physics term describing an unexplainable, supernatural-like escape of an electron from one orbit into another. Electrons orbit the nucleus of an atom, and each electron is trapped in a particular orbit and stuck there without hope of ever moving to another realm or orbit. When enough pressure is applied to and stress exerted upon an electron, it disappears from its orbit and appears in a different orbit. It’s like a miracle—something that cannot happen does happen.
In many cultures, if you were born into a peasant family, that’s where you remain all your life. You cannot break to a higher level. Yet sometimes miracles happen, as was portrayed in the film: Slumdog Millionaire. Sometimes a person does make a quantum leap to another level.
Through faith, action, and tenacity we can make a supernatural leap to another level financially.
But our belief system will always impose an artificial boundary on how high we can go. Unless we change our belief system, we’ll stay pretty much the same. And if we do think we’re going to another level, and don’t become more on the inside by changing our thoughts, words, and actions, we’ll find ourselves right back where we started. You can go from rags to riches, back to rags if you don’t change on the inside.
The Psalmist wrote, “We went through fire and through water [stress and pressure applied]: but thou [God supernaturally] brought us out into a wealthy place.”
Now, do you remember, I said the electron that makes the supernatural leap is the one that absorbs the most pressure and carries the heaviest stress load? There are stresses when you are coming out of your current comfort zone so you can make it to another level.
Here are the Iron Laws for a Quantum Leap
They aren’t comfortable, but they make you more on the inside so you can enjoy more of the outside.
1. Understand that God is God and you are not.
Even though this world changes, God does not. Even in days of high risk; God can make it a day of high opportunity. Deuteronomy 6:4-7
2. He created you to be fruitful, and to multiply, and to fill the Earth.
Genesis 1:28. Fundamental Principle of Life: “If I am to be fruitful and multiply, I must accept that I am responsible for my life, my thoughts, my words, my actions, my happiness, my success, and the influence I have upon others.
If you take one step – the Holy Spirit will supernaturally propel you another 99.
Some just wait around, hoping for something to change. Year after year, it’s more of the same and no wonder. They wish and hope and dream, yet choose to stay in their comfort zones trying to avoid the pressure necessary for a miracle advance.
3. Upgrade your inner kingdom.
Your inner kingdom will always become your outer kingdom, so boost your thinking, believing, and speaking to be more like God’s.
You attract, like a living magnet, people, ideas, thoughts, circumstances, and situations that harmonize with your soul—your inner kingdom.
Young Solomon gave 1000x more in offerings. That was unusual. He was only required to provide one offering, like everyone else. He thought differently than the average person. Others probably thought he was crazy.
God came to only one person and offered to answer any request he could imagine. That one person was Solomon—the one who made an unusual offering. And ultimately he became the richest man on earth. He stepped out of the normal comfort zone and made a quantum leap.
Your outer kingdom is a reflection of your inner kingdom. The way you see yourself on the inside largely determines what happens on the outside.
Common Thinking:
“My employer doesn’t pay me much so I don’t have much to give.”
“I’m on a fixed income so I can’t do something unusual for God.”
“I’m down to my last dime and I’m sure not going to let go of that.”
“I don’t have a job now, so how can I give seed I don’t have?”
“If I win the sweepstakes, I’ll give God a good percentage.”
“Someone should be helping me instead of me thinking about helping someone else.”
“I don’t have anything to give.” What? Did he not say he gives seed to the sower?
4. Nothing multiplies until a seed is planted.
Read 2 Corinthians chapters 8 and 9 carefully. You can only harvest after you’ve sown.
Nothing multiplies until a seed is planted.
David Burdine wanted to give a million dollars to missions, but he was without a job and down to his last $62. He planted that $62 into a missionary—Now I’m sure that was stressful, but he did it, setting himself up for a quantum leap. Within a week, he was invited to become the CEO of a large company and was, over time able, to give over $75 million to missions. Was that a coincidence or was it a Quantum Leap?
Mike Rogers owned a company, but due to regulations, it was being phased out. He was down to his last $200 when he heard Tommy Barnett give a presentation about his dream for an LA Dream Center. God said, “Mike, donate $200.” “But Lord,” Mike protested, I only have $200 left.” “That’s all I asked for, Mike.”
Mike gave the $200 and in a short time by some strange miracle, Congress passed a new law, deregulating Mike’s business. It took off like a skyrocket until Mike was able to give $250,000 a quarter to the Dream Center—that’s a million a year. Was that a coincidence or was that a Quantum Leap?
Trying to get something for nothing or waiting for heaven to rain down gold is going to bring you great disillusionment—it’s only a fantasy.
Life is not a dress rehearsal it’s the real thing. And you get only one time around to get it right. So why not determine today to set up the conditions for your life, business, and finances that will bring you a quantum leap?

The Bridge between the Calling and the Choosing
Forty-one years ago, I was a 26-year-old follower of Jesus, Spirit-filled, and I wanted to be a preacher, but I didn’t want it to be my own decision, but God’s will.
I worked at the Board of Water and Light, and there I advanced quite rapidly. I loved my work and the people I worked with, yet there was something in me that wanted to break out and become a Gospel minister.
I struggled, not knowing if this desire was my own or something God had put within me.
Finally, one day, I decided to be like Jacob and wrestle with God all night if necessary to determine His will and calling for my life.
I read James 1:5-8 in my old army green Living Bible. Here’s what it said:
If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it.
But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind;
and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way and then that. If you don’t ask with faith, don’t expect the Lord to give you any solid answer.
I believed those words, so I prayed in the Spirit for maybe 20 or 30 minutes and asked God about my calling. Suddenly, something rose up my belly, and I spoke out, by faith, the words coming from my spirit: “David, I have called you to speak my word, now speak it faithfully. The prophet that has a dream let him tell his dream, but you have my word, therefore speak my Word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?”
That was it. I felt directed and empowered by God himself. Later I discovered these were words the prophet had spoken in Jeremiah 23:28. Must be I had read it before, and the Holy Spirit was bringing it to my remembrance and personalizing it just for me.
I never doubted my calling since that day in 1976.
And I have done my best over the years to speak God’s word faithfully.
In reading the Bible, I noticed that Jesus said in Matthew 20:16, “For many be called, but few chosen.” And again in Matthew 22:14, “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Looking back now, I recognize that God chose me to pastor a great, growing church for over 30 years. He chose me to write some best-selling books, and I’ve received many awards over the years. I’ve spoken in many of America’s greatest and largest churches. District officials around the country have invited to speak to large groups of leaders. I felt so chosen.
I wondered why Jesus would call some, then not choose them, when he declared many are called, but few are chosen.
I found the answer in Revelation 17:14 where a third word is added to “called and chosen.” The word is “faithful.”
Now it made sense why many are called and few chosen.
Faithfulness, tenacity, stick-to-it-iveness becomes the bridge between the calling and choosing. Many are called to pastor growing churches of hundreds or even thousands, but few are chosen. Many Christian business people are called to be millionaires and multi-millionaires, but few are chosen.
Many, when trouble comes will hop off the bridge of faithfulness, so their dream never becomes a reality and their calling never comes to fruition.
For Pastors, there is what I call the “fourth to fifth-year syndrome.” I experienced it, and everything in me wanted to run away to “greener pastures.” Antagonists rose up, rumor-mongers hit the telephone lines, and certain people became hostile because I was faithful in speaking the truth of God’s Word. I won’t rehearse the whole scenario, but 100 people left the church in one swoop. They did everything they could to force me out, but I remembered that word, “Faithful.”
During this difficult season between my fourth and fifth year as pastor, another pastor took me to breakfast and said, “Don’t you quit, Dave Williams.” He went on to explain, “I quit every church I pastored after four or five years when I faced opposition and God told me if I quit this one, it will be my last church.”
Jesus taught in Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Not, “Well done thou good and perfect servant.”
Not, “Well done thou good and prophetic servant.”
Not, “Well done thou good and charismatic servant.”
Not, “Well done thou good and handsome servant.”
He said, “Well done good and FAITHFUL servant” then he pronounced enlargement. Faithfulness is the bridge between the calling and choosing.

Gifts Fit for a King
In Matthew 2 we are told about three wise men that saw the star of Bethlehem and wanted to worship the newborn King, Jesus.
And when they came into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary, His mother, and fell down and worshipped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. – Matthew 2:11 MEV
These weren’t just any gifts they brought Jesus. They were treasures, expensive gifts. They were costly, highly valued, extravagant gifts. This was the wise men’s way of worshipping Jesus. They brought gifts that were fitting for a real king.
Throughout the year we receive financial gifts to support the Kingdom work we do through Dave Williams Ministries. Some people might not view their donations as worship, but Matthew chapter two demonstrates that it indeed is.
What gift will you give to worship Jesus?
Your gifts don’t need to be expensive like the Magi’s. Jesus praised a widow who gave the smallest of gifts. He praised her because that gift for her was a great sacrifice. Gifts from a heart of worship offered in sacrifice are always acceptable to Jesus.
This Christmas season, would you consider a special gift to Dave Williams Ministries that will be one of worship in celebrating the birth of our Savior?

$678 Billion – Will it Change the World?
The website Statista.com projects that Americans will spend over $678 Billion dollars on Christmas this year! The National Retail Federation projects that the average family in the U.S. will spend an average of $967.13 on Christmas this season. Here’s the breakdown:
Gifts: $608.06
Food, decorations, flowers and greeting cards: $218.08
Other non-gift items consumers buy for themselves and their families: $140.99
I’m definitely not a Scrooge when it comes to holiday spending and enjoying the holiday season with my family. However, sometimes I do wonder, “How many of these expenditures will really make a difference?”
In contrast, consider some of the ministries and projects Dave Williams Ministries has helped:
Providing resources to Life Challenge Centers, Teen Challenge Centers, and Chi Alpha Campus Ministries around the nation
Dave’s course, The Art of Pacesetting Leadership, is now on over 170 campuses
Grants to the Los Angeles Dream Center
Scholarships to train pastors through Living Water Teaching Center in Guatemala
Training pastors in China, Cuba, South Africa, and Vietnam
Providing resources to Christian Resources International for training pastors all over the world
Outreaches to children in Philadelphia, PA; Detroit, MI; Lansing, MI; Pontiac, MI; and Greensboro, NC.
Last year we gave over $250,000 in scholarships, grants, and resources.
None of this is possible without our faithful partners that come along side us and help us fulfill the mandate that God has given us. If you partner with Dave Williams Ministries, YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN!
So, this Christmas season while you are stressing out about finding the most excellent gift to give that least favorite relative, don’t forget how to truly make an impact this Christmas season.
If you’re not currently a partner, please prayerfully consider becoming a part. Partnership levels start at just $25 a month. Read more about partnership here.
When you partner with us financially it’s not just a gift. It is fruit abounding to your account before the Lord (Philippians 4:11-17).

More Signs
Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives overlooking the city Jerusalem when his disciples popped him some well-crafted questions about the end times: “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
The disciples knew that God always issues warnings by giving signs that something dramatic is approaching.
Signs are like “previews of coming attractions.” They are not the main feature but point to it. Signs and harbingers provide small glimpses of what the main feature will be like.
Signs for the Final Days
The ancient biblical prophets gave us certain signs concerning the last generation. Here’s what they told us about the final days just before Christ comes:
The world’s main focal point would be the Middle East
Russia would begin aligning with key Muslim nations (Ezekiel 38)
Israel would be surrounded by those bent on her annihilation (Psalm 83)
Anti-Semitism would dramatically escalate (Zechariah 14)
Religious deception would become rampant (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21)
Political chaos would increase fiercely, and a global political star with persuasive and shocking solutions would rise up (Daniel 9)
Extreme famines would occur in different parts of the world (Matthew 24)
There would be wars and rumors of war, especially relative to the Middle East and Israel (Mark 13)
Epidemics and pandemics would escalate (Matthew 24)
Earthquakes and natural disasters would heighten in frequency and intensity
Technology would make astonishing advances (Daniel 12)
Terrorism would jump to the forefront (Luke 21)
There would be an abnormal emphasis on sex and materialism, and morality would be twisted (2 Timothy 3)
Betrayals, multiplying family problems, and resistance to God’s messages would be prevalent (Matthew 24, 2 Timothy 3)
A genuine Holy Spirit revival would emerge as a remnant of godly believers focused on the Lord Jesus Christ and His power (Joel 2; Acts 2)
All these signs are now accelerating and converging at breakneck speed.
Jesus gave us the signals that would precede His imminent coming, then, He warned, “When you shall see all these things, you know that it is near, even at the doors. Truly I say to you; this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.” Matthew 24:33, 34
If you believe Jesus told the truth, then you must believe the generation that sees these signs taking place simultaneously and globally will likely be part of the final generation, and quite possibly experience the long-awaited return of Jesus Christ. While followers of Christ will walk in hope, faith, and great power, others will taste only anguish and distress in the days ahead.
Like an alarm clock, many choose to ignore it.
Prophetic signs and warnings, like those David Wilkerson issued, can be agitating and discomforting.
Somehow we want to believe, “Maybe we’ve still got a few years or decades before these prophecies come to pass.”
But the evidence tells us they are upon us now. The Day of the Lord truly will come any day! Jesus promised it, and it will happen. And you’re either ready…or not. If you know Jesus as your Lord, you’re ready. If not, you’re not.

What to Do if You Miss the Rapture: Part 2
As mentioned in part one It is possible to be a professing Christian and not actually be in the faith. I shared 11 tips people should take to heart if they miss the rapture. Here are the final pieces of counsel to survive this terrible time if you miss God’s first roundup—the rapture.
12. Do not in any way, under any circumstances, align with the world leader.
Everyone is going to love him and even worship him. But if you listen to his lies, you’ll be drawn into a strong delusion that will seal your eternal fate (2 Thess. 2:9–12). You will be soon banished to hell because you didn’t love the truth.
13. Refuse to take a mark, a name, a number or a chip in your right hand or your forehead.
Refuse any microchip injections because Revelation 13 says this powerful world leader will require everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. But once you get it, you will belong to Satan forever. It’s better to be shut out of the world economy and lose your physical life than be damned forever to the lake of fire (Rev. 14:9–11). The life of many believers during this time of the final shabua will end in beheading for refusal to take the mark of the beast (Rev. 20:4).
14. Do not steal, do not commit any sexual sin, don’t murder anybody and don’t use drugs to ease your anxiety.
The temptation to steal, murder, use drugs and give yourself to sexual sin will be enormous, but you must resist. If you commit these sins, you may find it very difficult to repent (Rev. 9:21).
15. Pray for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.
They’re going to be suffering to a greater degree than any other group on Earth. That’s why the final shabua is called the Tribulation and the time of Jacob’s trouble.
Jesus said it’s going to be worse for the Jewish people than anything they’ve ever experienced in the past (Matt. 24:21). Psalm 122:6a says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” In Zechariah 14:2, we are told that all the nations of the world will be against Israel in her final holocaust.
16. Be prepared to suffer.
At some point, liquidation camps and facilities will be operating around the clock. As I understand the prophetic warnings of the Great Tribulation, famine will be worse than ever. Families will be separated. It’s going to look like a horror movie or science fiction, but it’s real. You may have to die for your faith, but it’s worth it.
17. Do not speak evil of Israel or her people, no matter the pressure.
God will contend with you if you are contentious with Israel. False prophets will tell you that the nation Israel has no right to exist. They will tell you that the people living in Israel are not really Jews and descendants of Abraham. Never speak against Israel or her people (Gen. 12:3; Isa. 49:25).
18. If you are captured by the authorities, do not deny Jesus Christ as Lord and God.
It is better to die than deny Christ (Luke 12:8–10). In Revelation 6:9–11 we see quite a few people who died after the rapture for their faith, and they made it to heaven. If you deny Jesus Christ, you will be assigned to the dungeons of the damned to await the awful great white throne judgment (Rev. 20:11–12).
19. Mark the day the world leader moves his image into the holy temple in Jerusalem.
When that happens, you will know that you have 1,260 days to survive. Daniel refers to 1290 days, which includes thirty days of cleansing after He returns.
20. Determine to endure to the end!
If you miss the rapture, there is still hope. Moses endured much tribulation by looking to Him who is invisible (God). Paul wrote, “If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us” (2 Tim. 2:12).

What to Do if You Miss the Rapture
It is possible to be a professing Christian and not actually be in the faith. Paul said, “Examine yourselves, seeing whether you are in the faith” (2 Cor. 13:5a). Jesus said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven” (Matt. 7:21-23).
If you are reading this after the rapture has occurred, it’s because you weren’t ready. Jesus said in Matthew 25:10 that “those who were ready went in … And the door was shut.”
Let me give you 20 pieces of counsel to survive this terrible time if you miss God’s first roundup, the rapture.
1. Do not believe the explanations given by the secular media.
Christians have not been beamed to some interplanetary spaceship to be reprogrammed. We have not been taken by aliens, and we’re not in Buenos Aires, Togo or Europe. We have left the earth on a cloud of glory to be with Jesus forever.
2. Get rid of your cell phone.
If you do not agree with the government of the final shabua and the charming world leader, you will be hunted. Your cell phone can be tracked. Throw it in a river or lake far from where you are going to be.
3. Do not kill yourself.
Whenever there’s social disorder and confusion, people tend to think suicide is the only way out. It’s not. You probably feel hopeless, but there is still hope. The Holy Spirit will still be working during the final shabua. Pray and ask Him to guide you, give you strength and dwell in you.
4. Repent immediately and make your peace with God.
If you’re reading this after the rapture, you’ve already witnessed many of the events we described. Now is the time to repent. Jesus Christ is the only Savior and the only way to heaven (John 14:6). Pray, “Lord Jesus, be merciful to me. I have sinned against you. Save me now. I receive you as my personal Savior.” For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10:13).
5. Make sure you have a printed Bible.
You will not want any electronic tablets during the Tribulation. God’s Word and promises will still work after the rapture because Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away” (Matt. 24:35). Keep your Bible in a safe place because when the Antichrist’s government takes over, he will eventually try to destroy all the Bibles.
Read the Ten Commandments and follow them (Ex. 20:1-17). God’s grace is still available, but after the church is gone, the age of grace has concluded, and everything reverts to something like Old Testament times.
Make sure you read Daniel 2-12. Chapter 12 will give you the general time Jesus is coming the second time. Read Matthew 24, Mark 13, 1 Thessalonians 5, 2 Thessalonians 2 and Revelation. Everything will begin to make sense to you.
6. Leave your home and get away from the cities, especially the big cities.
You’re going to be tempted to wait and see what happens, but if you do, it will be a fatal mistake, just as it was for the Jews who waited too long during the holocaust years. Go to some remote area. Learn to live off the land. Don’t take your cell phone because you can be tracked down. Disconnect the transponder on your vehicle, or ditch the vehicle altogether.
Make sure your family is safe and in agreement with your decision to leave. Take them if they will come. If not, you must go alone.
7. Pray for God to help you and give you strength.
It’s going to be difficult to survive, but God will still hear you, and He’ll still help you. It won’t be easy, but Jesus said, “He who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 24:13). You’re going to need His strength as you’ve never needed it before.
8. Don’t go to church.
That’s right—don’t go to church or join the world conglomerate religion because it will be under the control of the false prophet (Rev. 13). All true, godly ministers have left the earth in the rapture. Do not believe the lies of the ministers who are left behind. Even if you see miracles and apparent wonders, do not believe them. They are lying wonders (Matt. 24:24; Mark 13:22; Luke 21; 2 Thess. 2:9). Deception will be the order of the day. Delusion will be everywhere, especially in “churches.”
If possible, try to find others who may have accepted Christ after the rapture. You will be able to find ways to support and encourage one another.
9. Get a small, self-powered radio.
If you can’t get the kind you crank by hand, get a battery-operated radio and a good supply of batteries, because you’re going to need to listen. Don’t believe the propaganda, but believe when they tell you about certain events relating to wars and geophysical calamities. You’ll be able to know what will happen next by reading Revelation 6-19.
10. Keep praying for your loved ones who are unbelievers.
God will still answer prayers during the Tribulation. Your prayers may be the key to seeing your loved ones again after this period of supreme agony is over.
11. Leave copies of this list for as many people as you can.
Perhaps this will help others survive and come to Christ. Be discerning, however, in giving out books like this if the rapture has already occurred. Jesus said in Luke 21:16-17 that people will be betrayed by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and some of them will cause you to be put to death. He was talking about the period you are living in right now if you missed the rapture.
Stay tuned for part 2.

Money Matters
A couple of years ago I hosted a Wealth Creation Weekend with hundreds in attendance. We had people attending from inside and outside the United States, including regular working people, businessmen and women, entrepreneurs, and even a contingent of professionals and executive from a large corporation.
The interesting thing is this: the professionals, though earning over $300,000 a year, were broke. An attendee earning only $30,000 a year was wealthier by far than the professionals and executives. You see, income is just a small part of the wealth picture.
Another man in his forties told me he had earned over $2.1 million in his lifetime and has nothing to show for it. That’s tragic.
Many Christians believe it’s impolite to talk about money, and many believe that God’s will is for some to be poor and others to be rich.
An article recently appeared in the Washington Post that criticized the wealthy, suggesting that when a person gets rich, he does so at the expense of someone else. It’s as if the rich cause poverty. Nonesense!
I find it sad that many followers of Jesus have never taken the time to rewrite their thinking according to God’s thinking on the subject of wealth.
There is a theology of wealth—what God says and thinks about it. There is a psychology of wealth which involves the way we think about money, talk about money and feel about money. And there is a series of actions that begin the wealth process in our lives.
In Deuteronomy 8:18, we are told that God has given us the POWER to get wealth. Ephesians 3:20 tells us that power is in us when we know Jesus Christ.
What we do with that power is up to us.
The man earning $30,000 a year not only tithed to the Lord but gave offerings and more, activating the power inside him. But he also planted personal seeds in his investment accounts, which God calls “storehouses,” even though it meant living below his means. The professionals and executives, earning over $300,000 a year spent everything, lived beyond their income and had much of their wealth going down a swirling dark hole of debt.
I’ve said before, that only a handful of believers will come into this revelation, and fewer still will practice the actions necessary to come into the Wealthy Place. The average rate of savings in the United States is only ½%. That means that out of 325,000,000 people in America, only 1,625,000 (about 1 out of 200 people save anything.) 20% of Americans (1 out of 5) spend more than they earn, using credit cards and getting loans on things that will strangle them financially and sabotage their future.
Without realizing it, many are unconsciously choosing a life without wealth because of their faulty beliefs about money. Our money beliefs and thoughts create artificial boundaries to our wealth.
If you want to stretch your financial boundary upward, you must step out of your comfort zone and change your false beliefs about money and replace them with the truth of God’s Word.
Here are some things you can start now to change your artificial wealth boundary:
Read a chapter in Proverbs every day
Invest in your wealth education (seminars, books, audios, videos)
Plant two kinds of seeds (first in God’s Kingdom; second, in your future). Set up a storehouse account (savings to start with, then investment accounts, and add systematically and regularly without fail.)
Live below your means so you’ll have something to invest for your future. Most people have interest working against them by living in debt. It’s better to have interest working FOR you in an investment account.
Step out of your comfort zone. Now Imagine: How would you handle being in a room full of millionaires and multi-millionaires? How would you think? How would you feel? What would be your comfort level?
Thank God daily for His wonderful gift of the power to get wealth
Eliminate the victim mentality, the entitlement mentality, and the scarcity mentality. Change your thoughts to thoughts of abundance and increase.
Begin reading Veranda magazine, Architectural Digest, and other magazines that inspire you to reach higher.
These are just a few suggestions I offer in my Wealthy Place Seminars and Club 52 events. If you begin now, I know that with time and consistency, you’ll be in the upper 4% financially. I really believe that.
