Her Badass Bikers Character Cards: Snubbs
Name: Snubbs
Age: 31
Occupation: Member of the Makani MC, formerly underground MMA fighter.
Character: Due to severe childhood trauma and a past as a rent boy and underground MMA fighter, he has not much formal education and a few personality disorders. Mace is his dom and best friend with whom he has an open relationship. Snubbs is bisexual.
He is a loyal and devoted brother to the other members of the Makani MC. He is protective over women and children and will stop at nothing to keep them safe, no matter how much pain and injury it causes him. He thrives on pain which is his coping mechanism until Ava convinces him to see a therapist.
Snubbs falls in love with Ava but goes into resistance at first in order to mask his feelings that leave him vulnerable.

Her Badass Bikers Character Cards: Mace
Name: Mace
Age: 33
Occupation: App developer, hacker, mechanic, member of the Makani MC, Snubbs’ best friend, son of Kaui, the MC’s president.
Character: Mace is a highly intelligent man who has developed some apps he sold for several million dollars. Loving his lifestyle as a member of the Makani MC brotherhood, he still lives at the clubhouse and works there for free to support the others. He is mainly straight but has a psycho-sexual bond with Snubbs.
Mace is a native Hawaiian. His father is the president of the MC and Mace is of tall build with full, long black hair and muscles that are akin to a mountain. He has tortured, maimed and killed in the days when the MC was still on the wrong side of the law.
However, Mace has never allowed a child to be harmed in all the years. He is strangely protective of them for someone who usually doesn’t have such a high level of compassion for other human beings. He simply loves children and once they are over being scared of his huge frame, they love him right back.

Her Badass Bikers Character Cards: Gloria
Name: Gloria
Age: late 30s
Occupation: Secretary at an Estate Agency, mother of Darryl.
Character: Gloria is a widowed mother who finds her consolation in her religious practice. She is a devout Christian with all the prejudices that so often come with it and is the solo voice of the church’s choir. She develops a crush on Mace when he shows kindness to her son and supports him. She is oblivious to others not taking her seriously who have in their turn prejudices against religious people but she ultimately saves the day with her unshakable faith and both sides learn to respect each other more throughout the development of the story.

Her Badass Bikers Character Cards: Darryl
Name: Darryl
Age: 12
Occupation: pupil, nerd, app developer and Gloria’s son.
Character: Darryl is Gloria’s nerdy son who is great with computers and other digital devices. He has a childish crush on Ava and keeps bickering with Jax whom he secretly admires. The two unlikely friends have a kind of love-hate relationship that eases when Darryl meets the 14-year-old Kalani and transfers his affections and focus to her.
He bonds with Mace over a game of PlayStation and ends up having him as a sponsor to send him to computer classes at the local college. Highly intelligent but somewhat awkward in social interactions, he still manages to charm the badass bikers and win their friendship.

Her Badass Bikers Character Cards: Liam
Name: Liam
Age: 29
Occupation: Mechanic, private security staff and member of the Makani MC, Jax’ best friend.
Character: Liam is the only one of the bikers who grew up in a sheltered home with his grandmother who was an active member of the community. After her death, Mace came to Hawaii, blew his money and landed with the Makani MC.
He is Jax’ best friend and his bro-code goes above everything for him. He loves him like his own brother and both share a fondness for mature women. Although Liam is a decent person, he has seen the dark side of life and been a criminal. Now legit, he is happy that no one is scared of him any longer.
Liam is in love with Ava but he is also protective over Jax and jealous of his status as his best friend and brother. Notwithstanding that, he will unerringly make the right decisions, even if it isn’t easy on his ego at the time.

Name: Jax
Age: 27
Occupation: Ex-con, mechanic, private security staff and member of the Makani MC.
Character: Jax was ten when he met the 25-year-old Ava who took to babysitting him. He had a neglectful mother and an absentee father who was married with a family and had an affair with Jax’ mother, keeping Jax a secret from his wife and other children. Jax finds Ava again 15 years later and has a major crush on her. He has run away from home as a teen, asked his father for help, was rejected and landed with the MC. He took the fall when the authorities were after the Makani MC and spent five years in prison.

Her Badass Bikers Character Cards: Ava
Name: Ava
Age: 40
Occupation: Ava formerly was an investigative account for the FBI, also working on projects with the NSA. At the beginning of the book, she is a paid companion to an old lady, looking after her during the day while her son and daughter-in-law are at work. She also doubles as nanny for the family’s children after school if the parents aren’t home yet. During Ava’s stay at the police HQ in Honolulu’s SWAT department, she is asked by police and FBI to assist together with Mace in an ongoing investigation. Later, she works as an accountant for the Makani MC at their workshop adjoining the clubhouse.
Character: Ava isn’t a mother herself but loves children and no matter where she lives, always ends up babysitting and entertaining some of her neighbours’ children. That was also how she met 10-year-old Jax whom she looked after on occasion for two years before she moved and lost contact. Currently, she is babysitting her neighbour Gloria’s 12-year-old-son Darryl.
Ava has had one experience with three men, otherwise she has only had one-on-one relationships with men. She is an infinitely loving person, intelligent and well educated but has given up a much better-paid career as a criminal investigative accountant for something more fulfilling. With her big heart, honestly, acceptance and unconditional love, she not only makes the men of the Makani MC fall in love with her but also helps to heal trauma and distrust.

Tirza's Teasers: Christmas in Montana 1 (Tirza's Christmas Tales #2)
Sutani led him into the wolves’ house. The animals were still behind a division and could not attack, but really, there was no chance of them doing that unless Ace had attacked them first and they’d have nowhere to run and hide. They were terribly shy creatures and only one snarled from afar when he took a step closer to Sutani.
“They are protective over you,” he said.
“Yes, this one is Dingo. He loves me to abandon and is rather possessive.” She laughed.
“That one over there is Victoria. She’s very old, but so sweet. Quite confused, actually,” she said. “I suppose, wolves get dementia, too.”
She opened the door and led Ace into the cage, explaining that Vicky was being kept apart from the others overnight. Vicky wasn’t scared. She was wagging her tail, sniffing and licking him. He caressed her, played with the full fur at her neck and even gave her a hug. The old wolf lady used this opportunity to lick his face excitedly, making him laugh with her tickly tongue. But suddenly, her body flinched with a strange sound from her belly.
“Get back,” Sutani shrieked, but it was too late already.
Vicky the wolf had just vomited into Ace’s collar.
“Oh my God, I am so sorry! Don’t move, I’ll get a towel and clean you up. I’m so sorry!”
In her haste, Sutani hadn’t closed the gate properly after passing through and Vicky bounded off after her.
“Is it okay that the wolf is out of the cage?” Ace called, keeping his head unnaturally twisted and tilted to be as far away from the wolf vomit staining his neck as possible.
“What do you mean out?” Sutani called from outside.
“She’s run after you,” he called back.
“Oh shit! Double shit!” she yelled and ran off, past the cage and out of the wolf house, leaving Ace standing with wolf vomit dripping from his neck and slowly running deeper inside his shirt.
He thought he could go into the kitchen area and clean himself up, but there was a wolf on the loose and if Vicky got out, someone might shoot her. Biting his teeth and thinking of the countless times in his career that had been equally smelly or worse because of body functions that were never mentioned when Seals were celebrated as the nation’s heroes, as the best elite force in the entire world, he ran after Vicky and Sutani.
“A bear tear, wolf vomit, at least it makes for some great stories out in the field,” he muttered as he ran.

Tirza's Teasers: A New Family for Christmas 1 (Tirza's Christmas Tales #1)
The little girl’s father walked after her and picked up the apron. He dusted it off carefully and returned, handing it back to the shop’s proprietor. He expected a look of disgust from this very clean woman. No one liked grubby, smelly homeless people and this woman was working with food. Cleanliness would be a major priority for her.
“Thank you, Sir,” she answered when she took the offered apron from his hands.
There was nothing but kindness and gratitude in her eyes now. Not even pity. When had been the last time anyone had called him “Sir”? He couldn’t remember, but it felt good. Way too good for a scruffy man like him. Did he still deserve to be called thus, he wondered?
He nodded at her and smiled politely, holding her eyes. Not good. She would remember him now. He shouldn’t look into people’s eyes. They were more likely to recall his face when he did. He quickly lowered his gaze again and smiled at his daughter instead, who stood behind the woman.
“Come on, princess, we have to hurry,” he said quietly, trying hard not to look at the woman again.
By God, it was difficult not to. Even in his days of service, a woman like her would have been a special shot and he’d had women throwing themselves at his feet to spend a night with him. He hadn’t looked at them, however. He’d been married and he’d always taken his vows seriously.
“Yes, daddy,” the little girl said, knowing this wasn’t the time to argue.
Not in front of a stranger. Her father had drummed into her that they couldn’t draw attention to themselves. People would remember and someone might report them.
“Wait. Is this your daughter?” the woman asked, looking at the child now.
Shit! His daughter was beautiful. She looked like an angel even in her worn old clothes and with a dirty face. She was just too beautiful to be overlooked. Pride and concern filled his chest in equal parts.
“Excuse me now, we have to get to the shelter,” he addressed the woman without meeting her eyes.
“You can’t…”
“We have nowhere else to go, ma’am. Please.”
He didn’t see how her face set in determination, the look of horror and surprise disappearing at the same time.
“You do now. Please, come in,” she offered in a gentle tone. “That’s no place for a little princess.”
“Ma’am, please…”
“You both look like you could do with some hot chocolate and a cookie or two,” she said.
