This is the Santa Clarita School Of Rock house band — aka Supremus — playing their first official gig (well, their first gig that’s NOT part of a school function).
Members had to audition to get into this band, not one of them is older than 14, and in this video they’re killing Iron Maiden’s “Wasted Years.”
Oh, and that dashing young fellow SHREDDING on lead guitar? That’s our son Boone.

It’s also a great intro to action films for little kids because, though there’s fighting and you see characters die and stuff, they get “de-rezzed” (basically, they cascade into a pile of pixels). And in the entire movie, there’s literally only a single drop of blood shown… AND IT’S A PLOT POINT.
