I've had your CTFD book, and sometimes I hear my boys quietly giggling at the cover. I didn't anticipate it would be such a guilty pleasure for them. I used to sneak my mom's dirty joke book, and they have this, which is significantly less dirty.
I’m glad I can serve as a corrupting influence on your family.
That was, after all, the real reason I wrote the book.

Wes Craven died today.
I’m a huge horror fan and he was having a bit of a career renaissance during my childhood when I was really exploring the genre. Needless to say, I’ve seen every one of his films—even the experimental stuff and reboots.
I’ve written before about which horror movies I want to share with the boys when they’re old enough. A great number of Craven’s films are on the list.
Rest easy, you creepy gentleman.
