Have you travelled lately and decided to fly instead of drive. Well get ready to be slapped with some interesting fines. You name it and there is an app..I mean a fine for that. You are going on a vacation and want to sit next to your loved one..it will cost you. You want food..you may get peanuts if you are luckly..anything more you have to buy. I think the direction we are headed is pretty clear. You have to pay a price for anything you choose to take or do on a flight.

Listening to get wiser
Book Excerpt
When you were little, you listened to your parents,a little older, to your teacher, a little more, to your
professors. Then you got a job, & listened to the boss. You got a girlfriend, got married, & now you listen to her. Want to have kids & watch
them grow? Soon you will be dancing to their tunes too. Oh God! When does this stop? When you die? Then you get to listen to God/Satan. Quite an earful for this lifetime, & beyond!

Look at your life past and present. Look at the people you had to listen to that you really did not want to listen to when you were growing up and now in adulthood. The ordeal does not end even when you die. One option I am thinking you may consider is pretending to be deaf to get out of this quagmire. Good Luck.

These are the opening lines of the book and kind of sets the tone for the rest of the book. Politicians through out the ages have asked their constituents to do more. Fight wars etc. in the name of how that is service to the nation. Someone rightly said war is waged for one reason and one reason alone and that is profit. Take a look at history and the wars and you should see the pattern. Well it is time now to question politicians on what about their service and the compensation for my service to my nation. If I fight a war will I have to wait months for medical treatment. If I expose corruption will I be ostracized and lose my citizenship.

Did you know that in some cultures if a black cat was to cross the street in front of you, you would slow down if you are walking or driving in the hope that someone else would cross the path the cat crossed before you crossed it and get all the negative vibes of that activity, get all that bad luck. It is kind of funny how cars and people which was going at a certain pace slow down significantly when a black cat is crossing the road. Cats for some reason have been associated with death. People see imaginary cats in the last days of their lives etc. Also it is said cats tend to come and hang out at person's death bed. I am wondering what about the cat's culture, what would they consider bad luck..would it be a human being crossing their path.

for a safer world...
Sandy Hook, CT. Yes, this could happen in the school your kids go to as well. So, please do whatever you think is right, to prevent it. Do not repent posthumously. [ quote from my book]
I live not too far from Sandy Hook. Long before what happened there it was a pleasure to visit the place. At the main cross road of the town, there was a coffee shop where there was book readings (the place has since closed). Right next to this coffee shop is this brook and it was nice, relaxing, listening to the gurgling brook sipping coffee. In the same general area is this open air theatre where summer would bring plays. It was picture perfect.
December 14, 2012 changed all that. I do not know if taking guns away is the answer or not but what I do know is it is hard to stop anybody if they have the intent. Changing intent is probably the answer in some cases but small steps help. Do what you have to do in your community to make it safer just don't repent...posthumously.

why this book
It's 3 am in the morning,3:12 to be exact and I am here thinking, you've guessed it..:-).. naked unshackled thoughts. I am thinking about why anything is persued. It usually is because of a need, to fulfill a need and often a want.
I started writing this book sometime back and all along I have wanted it to be different and I was writing for the regular Joe and Jane...who at the end of a long frustrating day is asking...what am I doing..how is what is happening around me affecting me..why am I here..where am I going.
That is what I have tried to answer in this book. I did not start by writing humor or anything else for that matter but it turned out so or atleast that's what I think..:-). I dislike labeling but if I was to label this work it would be in the genre of humor/self help but again I am not preaching anything. Every person is unique and I would not want to change that but I do hope regular folks read this book and get a perspective in life.
I am often asked who is your target audience. This book is so different, are you sure this is a book at all..:-). My answer is it's possibly...40+ beer guzzling pot bellied balding middle aged men..:-)..who really have stopped caring..or it could be a teenager 18 or older who is just starting off in life and who can take in some advice (parents know how that goes..:-)..)..and also ladies who are chilled in life and can enjoy their drink and are not uptight..:-). Well you decide for yourself what this book is about. I am done, it's 3:35 am..:-).Happy Reading..enjoy the book.
