♫ Last Train To Clarksville ♫

I had no idea this was an anti-war song. I like it even better now! ~Sherrie

Filosofa's Word

We mostly do the Paleo Diet & Keto to a lesser degree (I have high cholesterol & refuse to take statins.)

I also recently published my 2nd novel which is the prequel to SLIES. So if you haven’t read my debut novel, read #CIINO first. (Everything you need to know is...

Father Joe of #StVincentdePaulHomelessShelter says most Americans are 6 weeks away from homelessness. In other words, if you lost your job today, you could be homeless in 6 weeks.
Do something before it happens to you!

A Good Cop’s Perspective

This must be read by all! ~ Sherrie

Filosofa's Word

Last night, I came across an Opinion piece in The Washington Post, written by a police officer that really impressed me.  Halfway through reading the article, I was saying, “Oh yeah … this guy really gets it!”  The officer is Patrick Skinner, working on the police force in his hometown of Savannah, Georgia.  Officer Skinner is a former CIA operations officer and served in the United States Coast Guard as well as the U.S. Capitol Police, so ...

A Writer's Path

by Mary Kate Pagano

I’ve written before about where to find critique partners but I wanted to touch on something just as important…

… namely why you should be a good critique partner yourself.

A good critique partner is an incredible asset. And I don’t believe they’re made overnight. Learning how to give useful, good critique is a skill that you develop over time. And it’s an important one, as a writer.
