Do All The Good
The pre-writing activities the students were doing this week was a pleasure as I was helping them learn about avenues to descent careers, other than a 4 year plus college degree. It was a lot of work & I’m tired (in case you’re wondering where I’ve been), but it was fulfilling.
But I am very grateful I m no longer a full-time teacher as I would have had almost 200 packets to bring home & grade. Next week, it will be the actual essays. So, if you ever wonder why there’s a teacher shortage, here’s why: It’s hard to have a personal life when you are a teacher. I SALUTE ALL TEACHERS TODAY. THANKS FOR GIVING YOUR BEST YEARS TO OUR YOUTH!

Truth!
Yup, they say “Ignorance is bliss.” Maybe for the ignorant, but now for those of us that have to deal with the truth of the situation!

If you thought knowledge was more important, look at who has become successful on their own terms. The creatives are doing what they love. The knowledgable ones are probably supervisors for a company they don’t even like!
