Character Profile: Lady Yovaine Nentofore

Lady Yovaine Nentofore owns an art gallery in Megasi City.  She is a firm but fair-minded businesswoman who treats her employees with kindness and generosity.  She employs several family members at the gallery.  Unlike her older sister Galea, she cultivates a neat and elegant appearance.  Most of the time she is cheerful and friendly.  She can become feisty when provoked.

 

Character Profile: Lord Zando Nentofore

Lord Zando Nentofore works as the family's lawyer.  Like his older brother Alonzo, he prefers wearing tweed suits.  He is a career academic with vast knowledge of law, history and politics.  He dislikes the arrogant posturing, pompous rhetoric and sly mind-games displayed by the majority of Carpathian lawyers.  He prefers a simple straightforward approach to all aspects of life.  He is quietly spoken and reserved in his ways.

 

Character Profile: Lord Dante Nentofore

Lord Dante Nentofore has biracial heritage.  His mother is the Carpathian Lady Isara Nentofore.  His father is a Sartorian by the name of Shamaal, who took the Nentofore family name on marrying Lady Isara.  Dante is cheerful and friendly.  He has a tendency to play pranks and get up to mischief, although he gradually grows out of that once he starts working.

Character Profile: Lord Armando Ciresi (AKA Lord Armando Nentofore)

Name: Lord ArmandoCiresi (AKA Lord Armando Nentofore)

Origin: Carpathian

Appearance: Shortstature, slim but muscular build.  Mediumbrown skin and dark eyes.  Frizzy collarlength hair, once brown but now turned white/grey.  Prefers wearing utilitarian clothing.

Personality: Calm,cheerful, a little on the playful side.  Caring,helpful and practical.

Family: The obscurebut reputable Ciresi family.  He marriedLady Galea Nentofore.  They have sevenchildren and many grandchildren.

Abilities: Goodadministrative skills, accomplished in the culinary arts.  Reasonable at martial arts.

Strengths: Calmnessand thoroughness.  Good at defusingarguments.  A great comforter.

Weaknesses: Lacksassertiveness.  Can be too passive andindecisive at times.

Likes: Familygatherings, cooking and entertaining.

Dislikes: Politics,conflict, being the centre of attention.

Appearance: Short stature, good figure for her age, butwears baggy, scruffy clothing that hides her figure.  Medium brown skin.  Medium brown shoulder length curly hair,streaked with grey.  Little half-mooneyeglasses.

Personality: Seems gruff and grumpy but warms up when onegets to know her better.  No-nonsense,practical, unconcerned about physical appearances.

Family: The vast Nentofore family, rumoured to numberthousands.  Married to Lord ArmandoCiresi, has seven children and many grandchildren.  She has been Matriarch (head of the family)for many years, having inherited the position from her father, Lord GalateoSagacio Nentofore.  She is the oldersister of Lords Luigi and Alonzo Nentofore and aunt (by adoption) to LordAndreas Cesario.

Abilities: Sharp analytical mind, keen observationalskills.  Often picks up on details thatmost people would miss.  Skilled atwrestling and martial arts.  Never backsdown from a fight.  Much stronger thanshe looks.

Strengths: Resourceful, determined, practical.

Weaknesses: Hot temper, interferes in other people's lives,gives advice even when it's not welcomed. Never holds back from speaking her mind, even if it can be hurtful.

Name: Lady Livania Nentofore

Origin: Carpathian

Appearance: Short stature, slim build, medium brownskin.  Long dark brown hair, dark browneyes.  Generally considered a veryattractive young woman.  Dresses indesigner clothes, figure-flattering but always tasteful.  Knows what looks good on her without needingthe advice of a stylist.

Personality: Vain, arrogant, used to getting her ownway.  Throws tantrums if everything isn’tto her satisfaction.  Can be sweet andcharming when she thinks it’s to her advantage. Uses people, pretends to be their friend but casts them aside whenthey’re no longer useful to her.

Family: The huge Nentofore family, billionaires who ownseveral businesses and vast amounts of real estate.  She herself is single and has no intentionsof settling down.  She is the youngest ofthe Nentofore siblings.

Strengths: Surprisingly physically strong.  Practises martial arts, mainly for the sakeof keeping fit, but can defend herself if she needs to.  Beautiful singing voice with perfect pitch,trained as an opera singer.

Weaknesses: Not as confident as she pretends to be, obsessedwith her appearance and making the right impression on people.

Likes: Being the centre of attention, having peoplescurrying around attending to her every need.

Dislikes: Being ignored, being turned down for importantroles, when things don’t go according to plan, having to do menial tasks.

Name: Lord AlonzoNentofore

Origin: Carpathian

Appearance: Shortstature, slim build.  Medium brown skinand dark eyes.  Medium brown waist lengthhair and beard.  Prefers wearing tweedsuits and sandals.

Personality: Quietlyspoken and considered.  Calm, caring andnurturing.  Patient and diplomatic.

Family: Thehuge Nentofore family, billionaires who own several businesses and vast amountsof real estate.  He is the third son ofLord Galateo Nentofore.  He never marriedbut later on in life he met Lady Vera Castiglioni, who became his lover.

Abilities: Vastknowledge of history, politics and the arts. Good strategist and expert teacher.

Strengths: Generosity,patience and calmness.  Has a keenanalytical mind.

Weaknesses: Can bea ditherer.  Avoids unpleasant tasks,putting them off until later.

Likes: Cooking,entertaining and teaching.  Often helpsout the poor in his neighbourhood, providing food and other necessities.

Dislikes: Injusticeand inequality.

 

 

Character Profile: Jilina

Jilina (no family name) worked as a guild prostitute before joining the Castiglioni household as a housemaid.  She is tall, elegant and graceful.  She reveals little about her past.  Instead of a family name, she would have taken the name of her guild, which is standard practice for members of any Varathusian or Carpathian trade or services guilds.  She is awkward around young children, since she has no experience of how to treat them.  Due to her training, she can be cold and aloof.  She also has hidden compassionate depths which are only revealed to those few people she trusts.

 

Character Profile: Lord Onelo Castiglioni

Lord Onelo Castiglioni is the youngest child of Lord Adriano and Lady Vera Castiglioni.  He lacks the spiteful and cruel personality of his older siblings.  He has a much quieter and gentler nature.  He rarely associates with them. He prefers to spend most of his time playing computer games and watching movies.  He is a closet homosexual and does not often indulge in pleasures of the flesh.

Character Profile: Lord Furio Castiglioni

 

 

Lord Furio Castiglioni is the third child of Lord Adriano and Lady Vera Castiglioni.  Like his siblings, he has lived a life of privilege and over-indulgence.  He was always spiteful and self-centred.  He paid more attention to his studies than his siblings.  As an adolescent, he began indulging in hedonistic pleasures, such as gambling, going to nightclubs and visiting prostitutes.  He continues those pleasures as an adult.
