Character Profile: Lady Everardo (Vera) Castiglioni

Name: Lady EverardoCastiglioni (Formerly Borghezi.  Prefersto be known as Lady Vera)

Origin: Carpathian

Appearance: Mediumheight, voluptuous figure.  Light brownskin and dark eyes.  In her pink phaseshe dyes her hair pink and wears pink clothing. In her white phase, she dyes her hair white and wears white clothing.

Personality: In herpink phase, argumentative, vexatious, full of complaints and insults.  Only happy during arguments.  In her white phase, a little more cheerfulbut guarded.  In both phases she isintelligent but plays it down.

Family: Theeccentric Borghezi family.  Father LordTisiano Borghezi, Mother Lady Astelia Borghezi. Married to Lord Adriano Castiglioni. They have three sons, Enrico, Furio and Onelo, and one daughter, Riga.

Abilities: Trainedas an assassin.  Stronger than shelooks.  Keen intelligence and goodobservational skills.

Strengths: Loyalty,good grasp of politics and power-plays.  Dedicatedto her family.

Weaknesses: Over-indulgenttowards her children.  Refuses todiscipline them.  In her pink phase, sheallows herself to become lazy and overweight.

Appearance: Mediumheight, heavy build.  Light brown skinand dark eyes.  Jowly face with doublechin hidden by beard.  Dark shoulderlength hair usually bound in a formal tail at the base of his neck.  He mostly wears business suits.

Personality: Cheerfuland positive.  Kind and encouraging.  Fair and honest.  Good business sense but not overly ambitious.

Family: Theprestigious Castiglioni family from the Inner Circle of the Carpathian Way.  Married to Lady Everardo (AKA Lady Vera).  They have three sons, Enrico, Furio and Onelo,and one daughter, Riga.  He also has abastard son, Andreas, from his relationship with his favourite housemaid, AlanaMareco.

Abilities: Businessmanagement and negotiations.  Hiseasy-going manner often helps defuse awkward or vexatious situations.

Strengths: Reliableand dependable.  Protective of his familyand employees.

Weaknesses: Over-indulgenttowards his children.  Lacks focus anddiscipline.  Doesn’t adapt well tochange.

Appearance: Shortstature, thin build.  Light brown skinand dark eyes.  Waist length black hairusually tied back with a piece of old bandage. When on the streets or working in the hostel, she wears brown robes andsandals.  When working in the Castiglionihousehold, she wears a housemaid’s uniform.

Personality: An oddmix of cynicism and kindness.  Can seem abrasiveand argumentative at times.  Cares deeplyfor the homeless people in her community and is extremely protective of them.

Family: Directdescendent of the Warrior God Martius, through the Entrevi and Cesariofamilies.  Has one son, Andreas, from a relationshipwith her employer, Lord Adriano Castiglioni.

Abilities: Good atreading people.  Fast learner withnatural intelligence.  Basic paramedicskills from her work at the hostel.  Herrare obsidian bond gives her enhanced abilities such as telepathy and greaterstamina.

Strengths: Determination,compassion and endurance.

Weaknesses: Overlysensitive and defensive, especially regarding her humble origins.  Quick temper.

Likes: Her chosenfamily on the streets, working at the hostel, singing, dancing and playingchess.

Dislikes: Authorityfigures and most wealthy people.  Cannotabide wastefulness and prejudice.

Character Profile: Alberto Demarco

Name: Alberto Demarco(original birth name Nhyldrym Voytko)

Origin: Malvanian

Appearance: Tallstature, slim build.  Pale skin.  Black waist length hair which he binds in aformal tail.  Has a well-groomedmoustache.  Dresses in black priestlyrobes.

Personality: Quietlyspoken and very precise.  Intenselyprivate.  Caring and compassionate.

Family: Unknown.

Abilities: Sorceryskills, organisational skills and observation skills.  Good at reading people.

Strengths: Calmnessand thoroughness.  Attention to detail.  Dedication to his allotted tasks.

Weaknesses: Can bepedantic at times.  Can be a little toopassive, not wanting to question his assigned role.

Likes: Research,teaching, reading and playing chess.

Dislikes: Dealingwith his Vyrdigaan superiors, having his routines disrupted.

Character Profile: Isuf

Known only as Sorcerer Isuf, he abandoned his family name.  He was born mute and sold to a Suskun guild where he learned to communicate using Suskun sign language. His sorcery powers manifested during his training.  He went on to become a skilful Master Sorcerer who specialises in alchemy and tracking energy trails.  He made some bad life choices and endured many troubled years until he joined Lord Edil Modjian's household.

 

Character Profile: Lord Qazrit Elhamein

Lord Qazrit Elhamein is a Master Sorcerer in the Central Nivarag Guild of Sorcerers.  He has lived several centuries.  He likes working as an archivist and plays down the vast extent of his powers.  He prefers cerebral pursuits rather than engaging in physical activities.  He has a love of strategy games and logic puzzles.  He becomes good friends with Lord Fhalo Erguvan.

Character Profile: Lord Bezghan Aljuriam

Lord Bezghan Aljuriam is one of Lord Ghalqim Aljuriam's sons.  He is a high-stakes gambler.  His addiction to the poker tables gets him into debt and trouble.  He is arrogant and quick to anger.  He is a skilled martial arts practitioner.  His reckless behaviour and his poor business sense cause problems for his family.  He considers Lord Edil Modjian his nemesis.

 

Character Profile: Lord Saqar Ulridin

Lord Saqar Ulridin was formerly a priest.  He gave up his position within the Order of Minestria and became an outreach worker, helping the poor in the slum districts.  He travelled with a band of disenfranchised Varagans who regarded him as their nominal leader.  They made several attempts to find a permanent place to settle and establish a colony.  Lord Edil Modjian found them occupying a parcel of land which he had bought at auction.  Lord Edil allowed Saqar and his fellow colonists to remain on the land.  Wary and suspicious, Saqar doesn't make friends easily.  It took him a long time to learn to trust Lord Edil.

 

Character Profile: Hozmur

Hozmur (no family name) lived on the streets and worked for a street boss who treated him badly.  Lord Edil Modjian rescued him and recruited him into the Modjian household.  He learned quickly under the tutelage of Ortiz Ranjustan and took on the duties of messenger and street spy. He became an essential member of the household.

 

Character Profile: Jagmur Baris

 

Jagmur Baris came from a family of circus performers.  Dissatisfied with her life in the circus, she tried to get involved in the cage fighting circuits.  She ended up joining a security guild and training to become a security guard.  She was recruited into Lord Edil Modjian's household, where she was appointed as Security Chief. Feisty and independent, she works hard to hone her skills and learn new techniques.
