Character Profile: Lady Kyara Stronnoli-Nentofore

Kyara grew up on the streets as a Par-Varah, begging and stealing to earn a living.  Possessed of natural intelligence along with a confident streetwise attitude, she strives to make a better life for herself.  After meeting and becoming friends with Lady Luisa Nentofore, she is taken in as a member of the family.  She begins a formal education with Luisa helping her.  Later she gets adopted by former convict Motilio Stronnoli.  Both of them work as street spies for the vast Nentofore spy network.

Virian sorceress and prostitute Vanessa Cadogan is the daughter of sorceress Dorota Cadogan and the mother of sorceress Ursula Cadogan.  She is sly and devious.  She often pretends to be helpless to gain sympathy and to trick people.  Her powers are only moderate but she uses them to good advantage.  She has taught her devious ways to Ursula.

Lady Luisa Nentofore is one of Lady Galea Nenofore's many grandchildren.  She is playful, friendly and adventurous.  She loves climbing trees, swimming and martial arts.  She also enjoys learning how to become a Carpathian operative.  In that regard, she displays the typical Carpathian ambition and determination.  Espionage skills come easily to her.  She can be reckless and thoughtless at times, but overall she tries to be helpful and kind.

Ravello Ponti started his career as a librarian.  It didn't pay well, so he tried to make a living from being a tattoo artist, supplemented by carrying out bank frauds.  His criminal activities landed him in prison several times.  He has a quiet studious nature and he loves creating body art. He became known as the best tattoo artist in Mynarth Penitentiary.  He takes great interest in the arts, especially painting and drawing.  He is thin and not physically strong. He avoids conflict whenever possible.

Character Profile: Motilio Stronnoli (AKA Stronno)

Motilio Ermgardio Stronnoli (AKA Stronno and Strongman) is a Varathusian career criminal.  He has served many prison sentences.  He is physically and mentally tough.  He is skilled at martial arts and loves getting into brawls with fellow criminals and prisoners. Most of the time he is gruff and aggressive.  He has a soft-hearted side which he rarely shows.

 

Character Profile: Enzelym Rohrvald

Enzelym Rohrvald is a Malvanian sorcerer with a dubious past.  He left his home enclave in search of adventure.  He worked for various Carpathians and got himself in trouble.  Falsely accused of murder, he ended up serving a twenty year sentence in Mynarth Penitentiary, Central Varathusia.  He has the typical quiet contemplative Malvanian temperament, along with a self-deprecating sense of humour.  He is open to making new friendships and he tries to help people whenever possible.

 

Character Profile: Lord Ezun Khadat

Name: Lord Ezun Khadat

Origin: Varagan

Appearance: Very tall, heavily built, mediumbrown skin, long wavy hair usually worn loose, droopy moustache, facialpiercings.  Mostly goes around bare-chested,dressed only in black baggy trousers and sandals.

Personality: Cheerful, friendly, generous,always willing to help out.  Very caringand protective of his family and friends. Has the typical earthy Varagan sense of humour.  Calm, patient, rarely loses his temper.

Family: The esteemed Khadat family,specialist dealers in weapons, textiles and the catering trade.

Strengths: Excellent cook, skilled inmartial arts and fighting with melee weapons. Astute businessman with good social skills.  Good judge of character.

Weaknesses: Can seem arrogant at times.  Expects women to be attracted to him andbecomes upset if they refuse his advances. Finds non-Varagans hard to understand.

Likes: His family, cooking, socialising,entertaining, making business deals, spending time with his concubines.

Dislikes: Bullies, anyone who threatens hisfamily or friends, people who won’t try to understand Varagan ways, especiallythose who flinch away when he touches them.

Character Profile: Lord Melvio Nentofore

Lord Melvio Nentofore works as Spy Master for the family, along with his older brother Luigi.  He cultivates a mysterious appearance, dressing in all black and wearing fedoras and dark eyeglasses.  He is diligent and resourceful in his work. In his leisure time, he enjoys socialising with the family.

 

Character Profile: Lady Kendra Nentofore

Lady Kendra Nentofore has her own business.  She works as an architect and interior designer.  She is divorced and has one son, Lord Gavrio.  She is grooming him to work in her business.  She has a cheerful approachable personality and a lively sense of humour.  Like her sisters, she can be feisty when provoked. Later, she remarries and has a daughter, Lady Ravella, named after her second husband, Ravello.
