HALLOWEEN DIYS.
5 extremely easy DIYs.
We are half way through the month of October, so of course I’m feeling the Halloween spirit.
Sundays are the days where I usually catch up with work, but today I couldn’t help but wanting to DIY some spooky stuff. These are all very simple and quick to make, so anyone can try and be creative with it!
#1 // CLEMENTINES INTO PUMPKINS
[image error]
Let’s begin with a healthy snack.
I saw these while browsing on the internet, so I did not come up with it, but it’s so cute and clever that I wanted to give it a go.
You just need your clementines and some kind of leafy green. I opted for celery as I had it in the fridge.
Peel the fruit and put the leaves in the middle. Can it get any easier than this?!
If you are preparing a buffet and wanted to display some fruit, this would be a lovely way to do it.
I gave it a little spin and used the top of the clementine as a ‘hat’ for it – it’s always interesting to have some variation.
#2 // BLOODY OREOS
[image error]
For these you are going to need your Oreos (but you can use any cookies you prefer), white icing (the one your roll), and red icing in pen form.
I originally bought multiple colours cause I wanted to create different designs, but I soon realised that they could look Christmas-y – and not creepy at all – so I opted for just the red.
If you have orange icing, instead of white, that could also look great. I’ve seen some on the internet with eyes on them!
The first thing I did was rolling the icing and then cutting out the shapes I wanted.
I put them on one side of each cookie and smoothed them out. You see what I mean when I say that they look Christmas-y? I guess this DIY could work both ways.
The step that turns these into creepy cookies is the dripping blood, which is incredibly easy to do.
# 3 // GHOST NAPKINS
[image error]
In the previous DIY you may have spotted some cute ghost napkins. I bought those yesterday in a party shop, but I soon realised how you could recreate them with some plain white paper napkins and a black marker.
Cut out your preferred ghost shape, just pay attention to leave a connecting edge so the layers will stick together: you can either leave an edge on top, or on the side.
Then draw their faces, and you are done!
Not sure if the marker would come off on your mouth if you are trying to wipe it, but I think if you turned them the other way you should have no issues at all, and if anything, you could also just use them to display your different foods.
Of course, if you use regular paper, you could create a garland and hang them somewhere as well!
# 4 // GHOST GARLAND
[image error]
If you are not into the look of paper garlands, don’t worry, here is more unique (yet equally easy) way to create a garland.
Use toilet paper to make a ball; and with your black marker, give it a face.
Now grab some white sheer fabric, and wrap it around the head.
Use clear hair ties around the ‘neck’ to keep the fabric in place.
When you are done creating the ghosts, use a thread to connect them all. You can also hang them up individually – if you wish.
Look at them! I love how they look.
I had ordered too much of that sheer fabric for my clown costume, so I’m glad I got to use it for something else.
#5 // BLOODY CANDLES
[image error]
Now, for the most visually impactful DIY, here is how you can make some bloody candles in seconds.
Lit up a red candle and drip the wax on your white candles while they are standing up.
Cover the area with paper or plastic to avoid ruining the floor/table you are working on.
This will make the room feel 10 times creepier.
The fog probably was the reason why I felt inspired to make these.
I hope you liked them, and will give them a try!

LUNA & STELLA.
For the past few months I’ve been designing some jewellery pieces, and today I can show them to you.
When I was born my cousin Veronica gifted me a gold bracelet she had made for me, which I still have to this day.
You may have seen it in my videos, as I always got asked where I got it from. I never had an answer to where you could find something like this, so the idea of creating a line inspired by it came to me, early in the summer.
I sketched out 4 pieces and reached out to my cousin: she has been working with gold fine jewellery for as long as I can remember. Growing up I would see her wearing her own designs, thinking it was the coolest thing ever (I still think it is) and dreaming that – one day – I could do her same job.
Every year, either for my birthday or Christmas, she would gift me something she made for me, which was so special.
So after telling her my idea, letting her know that it would be inspired by the bracelet she had made me years ago, she was on board!
I sent her my sketches, and soon enough she was working on my samples.
I’ve recreated the bracelet, in a daintier, simpler version.
It has 3 moons and 3 stars that wrap around the wrist.
It’s also adjustable, and the tag has my signature on it, as well as the 14kt title.
I of course had to create a necklace version of it, even more simplistic, with just a star in the middle, and two moons on the sides, 5cm apart.
It is a choker-style necklace, meaning that it’s supposed to stay quite close to the neck, but it is adjustable, and also shows my signature on a gold tag as well as the title.
A very exciting piece is this pair of earrings, which are small size gold hoops.
Here is the star close-up.
And here is the moon.
The final, and most affordable piece, is this chain ring, with a gold circle in which we placed the moon (so the edges wouldn’t hurt while wearing it).
This is the only item that has the moon on just one side – as it won’t spin around – and you are able to select the actual size you need before buying.
These items are all made with 14kt gold (not just covered), made in Italy, and made to order. Faces on each charm are laser cut.
This line is going to be a limited edition, we are collecting orders from today, Tuesday 10th of October, to the 24th of this month (2 weeks). Find it HERE.
After we close the collecting period, it will take 30 days to produce, and the pieces you purchased will then be on their way to you. ⸌̷̻( ᷇ॢ〰ॢ ᷆◍)⸌̷̻♡⃛
I believe these would not only be great additions to your jewellery collection, but also make a perfect Christmas gift for others.
I’m extremely happy with how everything turned out, and I hope you will like it too!
Do you have a favourite?

AN AUTUM DAY.
In my hometown.
Felix and I spent the weekend in Sovizzo, which is where my parents live.
It was a lovely autumn day, with leaves falling, a chilly temperature, and some fun activities planned.
On Friday evening, right after my plane landed, I rushed to a jewellery: in fact, one of the projects I had been working on was a small, limited edition line, that is all made in Italy with 14t gold. There is a story behind this, and different pieces to be shown, so I will be filming a video later today to announce it.
I got to pick it up, and even thought I had seen photos throughout the process, I was so impressed by how well they matched my vision and drawings. I’m so happy with it!
Although on Friday there had been a storm, on Saturday – my full day there – the weather was perfect, luckily.
That allowed us (my dad, Felix and me) to go on a bike ride on the country fields around our house.
I spotted some apple trees.
It’s always so peaceful there.
By noon we made our way home, as my brother’s girlfriend – Jennifer- treated us to a delicious homemade lunch.
When we arrived I could hear a strange, heavy breathing. I look up and see Nito, my pug x shitsu cross (many ask about his breed) family dog looking at us through the fence.
In the afternoon we headed to the archery field. I always try to go whenever I come back home, as I really enjoy it. Plus, the weather was so nice that we had no reason to stay inside.
I used to be quite good, but this time I’ve lost against Felix, Davide and Jennifer. I blame it on the bow and arrows. Also consider that when I say ‘good’, I mean with a practise bow and close targets.
Here we are after our little tournament.
In the evening we went bowling, where I had invited about 15 people to join, as I wanted to make the best of my short stay and meet as many of my friends as possible. I’m really glad I got to see them all again, and for once – may I say – I did decent at bowling!
We left on Sunday. It was a very nice and refreshing trip, even if it was so quick.
Hope you liked the photos.

PINK.
A few things I’ve been liking, that happen to be pink.
Consider this as a sort of ‘favourites’ post, but my picks – instead of being related by the month – are connected by their colour.
When we moved back into the ‘old flat’ I had little time to pack everything away and select a few things to bring with me. I completely forgot about perfumes.
I needed a fragrance, so I went online and selected one that looked pretty: I had no idea how it was going to smell, but the packaging did the trick for me.
I remember once I was at the airport, waiting by the shops for the gate to be announced, and I was testing different perfumes: none of the Gucci one smelled that nice, so when I ordered this one I was truly hoping for the best.
Luckily, I really like it! It not only looks pretty, but has a lovely scent too (which is clearly the most important factor).
I’m glad I gave it a go. And I’m happy it worked out. It may be more of a summer scent, but it’s really nice.
This moisturiser by Origins is my new go-to in the morning. When I read ‘matte’ I wasn’t sure it was actually going to work, as I do have oily skin (as you all know), but after just a few minutes of applying this, I can tell my skin does look matte, and I find myself blotting maybe just once a day, instead of doing it numerous times.
I also like the consistency, which is almost jelly-like; the scent is very particular, and has been driving me insane to be honest: I like it a lot, and it reminds of something, but I cannot figure out what. The closest thing I would say is a cola popsicle, but I’m not sure that’s it! If you have this moisturiser, please let me know what you thing the scent is.
Probably my most used products as of lately is this lip balm by Glossier. I have mentioned it in another blog post as soon as I got it, but since then, my love for it has grown even more.
It’s an amazing lip balm: it smells incredible, it makes your lips super soft and pouty, it’s quite thick but melts as you apply… ah. I wanna apply some more just by writing this.
So here comes my everyday lipstick, by Tarte. This guy is my second tube, and it’s the shade ‘exposed’. I was about to run out of my first one right when they gifted me this one. That was a happy day.
I find that it makes my lips look fuller, the shade is the perfect nude for me, and it fades beautifully and naturally throughout the day.
The final thing I wanted to show is this manga, which I picked up the other day as the title was so strange.
Once I got home, I wrote my friend Daizo, showing her what I bought, and she told me she has read this already and enjoyed it, so even tho I have not had the chance to read it myself yet, I figured I would include it. I’m very much looking forward to read it tomorrow.
In fact, tomorrow I’m going to be on a plane again! This post is completely rushed out, I simply didn’t wanna leave without writing something on my blog, but it’s very exciting as when I get back, I will have the new line I’m releasing. Early next week I will be able to show it to you! (not the clothing one just yet).
Do you have any fun plans for this weekend?
Or any favourites to share?
Marzia.

SMALL CHANGES.
A weekly update.
Remember how I was saying that I’ve been sick? Well, this sore throat is not going away. But the weather has been quite nice, and I’ve gotten some stuff done.
I’ve finished changing up the kitchen in the ‘old flat’ (aka Felix’s current office).
Before, it was a rather bland space. It’s a long, thin kitchen, washed with beige cupboards.
I had some fun with the walls, added a big clock to tell me the time (so I don’t have to guess from now on) and a chunky shelf with plants to breathe some life into this window-less room.
I’m quite happy with it! Simple and effective.
I’ve also been checking the flat we are redoing regularly, just to stay on top of all the changes we are making and make sure everything is going smoothly.
Well, we have encountered lots of small issues since the buildings in Brighton are so old, but I love popping in every few days and seeing the progress.
This photo up here is from the guest bathroom. I’ve not designed this space yet, but I got the workers to strip it down for me and when I saw the room, it looked like a horror set, so that meant I needed to take a photo of it.
When I got to that flat, there were a few packages waiting for me.
I didn’t have proper time to unbox and test everything out, but I tried my best to lay it out.
Soap&Glory sent me two bath bombs and a multi-purpose wax-like product. This smells great.
This company called Facetory sent me one of their boxes, filled with korean masks. They included a code you marzipans can use to get a discount (if you want to try them)!
Here I am, trying to scare Felix while wearing a golden face mask.
Tarte sent me what I believe may be their entire Holiday line: all the lippies, blushes, makeup brushes…
[image error]
As well as their two makeup palettes, combined with travel sized products. These are so handy!
Look at these pretty blushes.
And this lip coat is gorgeous.
Of course, I needed to share some of these goodies with you, so I’ve put some stuff in this box and one of you will win it! Just include the word ‘FACE’ in your comment and I will count you in. (I’m just reusing this box, but I’m including different products and brands).
Please don’t spam. I will select a winner tomorrow morning and write it in this post, so come back and check! Anyone can enter. Winner will be selected at random.
Anyway, another pretty big chance is my hair! I’m actually trying to go pastel pink, but since my hair is so fine I don’t wanna risk destroying it in the process, so I’m taking it easy, step by step, and for now I’m settling with blonde hair. I’m actually really liking it! I’ve never seen myself with hair this light.
Today Felix and I went to The Lanes for lunch and some shopping. We tried out this Japanese place called Pompoko and we both really enjoyed the food: I got the sesame tofu with rice, and it was incredible. If you ever come to Brighton, add this restaurant to the list!
I bought some manga and CDs for my car, but the best purchase was this fuzzy sweater for Maya!
How was your week? ɾ⚈▿⚈ɹ

FEVER.
At home, sick.
I took this photo yesterday at sunset. I love it when the clouds are pink.
On Tuesday evening my throat started to hurt out of nowhere, it went from mild, to very painful in about 10 minutes. Then the stomach begun to cramp, and the fever got higher and higher.
I’ve been resting for the past 3 days, whilst doing some minor work from home. Today I’m well enough to write a post.
Whenever I’m sick, I crave fruit. Green apples are usually what I go for, but I sent Felix to get me a ton of oranges so I could get that Vitamin C. I’ve been loving making orange juices both for me and Felix, every morning.
Yesterday my eyes stop watering so much, as the fever went down, so I got to start reading ‘The Disaster Artist’. You guys should know by now how Felix and I love ‘The Room’, and and since the movie of this book is coming out later this year, I ordered a copy off of eBay.
As I was home, packages started to come my way. One of which was from The Konjac Sponge, which included these four adorable new facial sponges. Looking forward to try them out!
I’ve also received some goodies from Glossier. I’ve seen this brand all over the internet, featured by the coolest gals out there, and wished for the longest time to be able to try out some of their stuff.
My team sent me these products, and I was instantly happy. Now that I have them, I can understand why so many people like Glossier so much: the packagings are simple yet cool, and the products do exactly what they are supposed to. That coconut lip balm is so great, it’s tempting to eat it.
I’ve also designed some Forest Creatures pop sockets, which are available now on my shop, and I’ve been writing a story for a possible animation project. Is this a spoiler? Maybe I shouldn’t say anything as my team and I just only started to contact animating studios, but hey, I guess sometimes I can let you in on what I’m working on.

BRUSCHETTA.
A vegan option.
If you have followed my channel for a while, you will know that one of my favourite dishes is bruschetta.
In the North of Italy, we make them slightly different from the South (which are the more common ones to find in restaurants around the world) and today I’m going to share the way I make them, but with a twist: I’m trying out vegan cheese for the first time.
If you don’t know what bruschetta are, they are basically pizza but in a thicker piece of bread, which is normally oval, with a crust.
The brad I’m using isn’t the right size (in the North we make them quite bit) but it’s the closest thing I could find here in the UK. These are from Crosta & Mollica.
My favourite passata (plain tomato sauce) is by Cirio, which I’ll be using for the base; and then normally I would go for the mozzarella from Galbani, but today I’m replacing it with this Violife vegan cheese, which is supposed to melt and be designed for pizza.
Now, I’m not vegan, but I do try my best to remove all the dairy I can, so I’m always trying out different products to replace my loved ones. When you go with substitutes, it really is a hit or miss.
When I fist went vegetarian, a year and a half ago, I remember trying so many different fake meats before finding things that I liked… but the positive thing is, when you do end up finding something good, you are most likely going to love it, even more than what you are substituting.
For example, when it comes to milk, I can’t even think about the last time I’ve drunk some, as the Oatly milk is actually SO. MUCH. MORE. DELICIOUS. And it doesn’t make me feel sick. So there is no reason at all for me to ever want cow milk.
Anyway, back to the recipe: normally I put the bread by itself in the oven for just a few minutes at 200*C. I do this so that once the mozzarella goes on top and looses it’s milky water, it doesn’t cause the bread to get all soggy.
I wasn’t sure how this vegan cheese was going to react with the heat, so I kept this step, but I can now tell you that once it’s melting, it does not release any water so you don’t need to do this part.
If you do decide to do it, it still helps as what I do next is rub some fresh garlic all over the bread for flavour, and if it’s a bit crispy, it’s easier to spread.
Then I go on and add my passata, leaving just a bit of space from the crust.
Then I chopped the cheese and added it on top. I used the whole thing, which looked like the amount I would use with regular mozzarella, but I actually think you can use much less.
I kept it in the oven at the same temperature for about 15 minutes – which is longer than I would cook mozzarella for – as it didn’t want to fully melt. I believe putting down the heat would help, so it can evenly melt. I also think cutting it into smaller pieces would help, as instead of creating a crust as mozzarella would, it just kind of got clear and crunchy.
As you can see, it didn’t melt like cheese would, but rather kept it’s shape. Once you bite on it, tho, it’s very soft and melted on the inside.
I’ve added chopped tomatoes on top, plus some salt, oregano and olive oil for flavour.
So, for the results: it looks pretty good, and similar to the real thing, but the cheese taste is extremely cheesy for me – like actual cheese – which I didn’t love. I prefer a softer flavour, as mozzarella – to me – is very different from cheese, taste wise.
So, if you are looking for an actual cheese replacement, this is pretty spot on; but if you like me, prefer mozzarella, this may not be for you.
Felix also ate the bruschettas, and he said he LOVED them, as well as the cheese. He kept asking me to make them again. So I guess it really depends on your taste.
I will most likely make them again, since he liked them so much, but I would definitely make the cubes smaller, so they can melt more evenly, and put way less of it on mine so that the cheese taste doesn’t overpower the rest.
Have you guys ever tasted bruschetta? They are so easy to make, and you can add anything you like on top!
If you have any mozzarella (not cheese) replacements for me, please let me know, it would really help.
Marzia.

TINY BATHROOM IDEAS.
Simple DIYs to transform your bathroom.
This may not seem like the pretties bathroom, still, but if you take a look at the ‘before’ pictures of it, you can easily tell how much the space has improved.
In this post, I’m going to share with you some ideas and tips on how to redo a bathroom without having to do massive work or spending lots of money!
Alright, I’ve decided to make this into a blog post right after I started painting the bath tub, so I don’t have a proper photo of the before, but you can see how bland and beige this is.
The easiest step to change up a space is fresh paint: I selected a dark colour for the bath, as well as an icy grey for some parts of the wall and touches here and there.
Multiple floor tiles were cracked and that drove me insane, so I knew I wanted to cover them up. The bath mat had been doing an okay job for a while, but I wanted to take things further by buying 1 metre of vinyl, with a pretty tile effect, so that I could cover the whole area, adding some colour.
Vinyl comes in many different patterns and measurements so that you can cut out what you need and lay it down on your own floor. They are very affordable, so that if you mess up, or end up wanting to change it later on, you can without feeling like you wasted money.
I didn’t glue mine to the floor, but I did use silicone to go around all the edges for a polished look.
My dad gave me some tips on how to get a more professional looking result while applying the silicone: use paper tape for precision, and after doing your silicone line, wet your finger and smooth it over. Then remove the tape to reveal clean edges.
I ordered a square shower head off of eBay: this was cheap, but still looks way more expensive than the one we had, so it did the trick.
I’ve also added a small hook on the ceiling and DIYed a hanging plant: I placed it on a plastic vase, cut out 3 small holes and used white embroidery thread to hang it.
The toilet seat is stained and broken, but I couldn’t find the right shape to replace it, so in the meantime, I had some fun painting stripes on top of it. They are very subtle and managed to cover all the stains nicely.
I also bought a storage unit that goes under the sink, which was just £39, and found a glue-on toilet paper holder for just £10. This last one did not fit anywhere in the wall, so I simply combined the two.
The cabinet itself provides lots of storage that we have been missing and needing for such a long time, and to make it tie in better, I’ve painted the two knobs the same grey as the rest of the bathroom.
I’ve added a bigger plant in one corner to bring in even more colour to this room.
This is all I’ve done, and to me, it makes such a difference. For years I’ve hated this bathroom, but now that I got to make it a bit more fun and colourful, I don’t mind it as much.
Marzia.

A WEEK WENT BY.
Catching you up.
Sorry about the lack of posts the past week, but I’ve been trying to juggle so many things that I didn’t get a chance to log in here.
This should get you up to speed!
One thing that really took a big part of my time wasn’t work this time, but DIYing.
In fact, we had to move out of our flat and moved back into what is known as ‘Felix’s office’ (the smaller, cute flat we used to live in).
Because we don’t live here at all times, but we often invite guests to stay over, and Felix still works from here, I like to keep it looking nicely – although it is a challenge to make sure it does when you don’t live in a place – so now that I’ve moved back in, I’m trying to freshen it up by doing some fun pain jobs, DIYing the bathroom floor, adding some shelves and so on. I believe I should be able to do a blog post once I’m done, but things are still looking messy at the moment, so it will need to wait a little longer.
I had decided to do a haul and managed film one, after collecting things for about a month. Compared to what most youtubers have to offer, with plenty of items at cheaper prices, my hauls have been more focused on fewer things, that I carefully select, that are for sure less affordable but unique.
Since having a more ethical mindset when it comes to shopping, I’m not going to lie, it’s been a bit though to share things I wear or buy. The moment you try to bring awareness, anything you do is going to be looked at more critically.
I never claim to know everything, or shop exclusively 100% ethical items, but I try my best to spread the word and be mindful when it comes to choosing what I spend my money on.
In this latest haul I’d filmed, I’ve included a few pieces that I requested from two of my favourite brands: Lazy Oaf and Lazzari. I remember the day Lazzari reached out to me, a few months back, telling me that if I ever liked anything from their website, I could simply ask and they would send it to me; and when Lazy Oaf reposted this photo on their account, it honestly made my day.
But, on the video, people seemed to confused and upset by why I wouldn’t pay for the clothes myself. The things is: 90% of the things I buy from Lazy Oaf (for example) I do pay for, but since I was planning to make a haul, I saw an opportunity to request a few pieces to share.
I ended up removing this video, as well as some other hauls I’ve done in the past, because no matter what my intensions are, it just seems like these kind of videos attract more negativity then others, and it saddened me a bit.
In the same video I was ‘called out’ for saying that the video wasn’t sponsored, but I asked for a few clothes for free: sponsorship happens when a brand pays for you to include products in a video; in my case, I was not paid by any of them, and I was the one reaching out, and so I disclosed it.
Anyway, I figured I would address this here, as I’m never fully able to get my point across on videos.
Bottom line: I think that, for a little while, I will probably share things I buy in here instead of collecting them all for a Youtube video. Sorry about the small rant!
Two nights ago Maya had more of her stomach issues. It is so hard for me to see her unwell, in pain. We brought her to the vet and are currently giving her medicines, but she is really spaced out, and doesn’t walk much. At least the pain seems to be under control, which is good, and she seems to be getting better.
My fear was that she was going to feel as bad as last time, when we had to leave her at the emergency for days. Luckily she is here with me, sleeping. (The photo up here was taken days before she felt sick).
I’ve also got around filming a video with Dogy, which was my most requested one at the moment. It sucks a bit that lots of hateful people are coming over because of the current situation, or even a lot of my own marzipans are asking me to speak up.
If I have to discuss something with Felix, I do it privately. I’m not going to be public about something this sensitive, and it had nothing to do with the video I posted either. I filmed it before it all happened, but people took offence in me wearing this hoodie in the video. It ruined it for me as normally I would interact with people in the comments (that’s the best bit when I upload), but I was put off by it all.
AH. Trust me when I say that making a living out of sharing things on the internet is both the most freeing and amazing lifestyle you can have, but really delicate and somewhat mentally draining at the same time. Anything you do is constantly being observed and criticised, you get pulled into things you have no part in, and if you don’t address certain things, you get called names, and rumours spread. It is difficult, at times.
Even my Instagram photos are filled with comments that are totally unrelated, so here I am, hoping that I can have more personal conversations in this space as I distance myself from Youtube and Instagram till the mess is cleared.
To end this post in a different note (it turned too sour, sorry!) I’m gonna talk about things I have been enjoying. Number one on my list: Fargo.
Felix and I started watching it, finally, after months of PJ telling us how good it is. We loved season 1. So good! Have you seen it?
We have tried to watch season 2 as well, but we can’t seem to get into it as much. What did you think about it? Is it worth watching?
We have also started American Horror Story Cult, and after finishing the first episode, I’m hooked! Are you watching it too?
Oh, and the final thing: IT. I really liked it. Felix not so much. I didn’t read the book, and didn’t watch the original movies, but I was very impressed by this one. I thought the IT costume was incredible, most of the actors were so good, the locations and set were great, and the whole movie was both enjoyable and creepy. Are you planning to go see it? Or if you have already, what did you think of it?
Alright. That’s all for today.

SMÅFRANSKA.
A Swedish recipe.

Yesterday Felix and I spent the day together, and decided to bake some bread buns.
He knew this recipe, which is quite simple, and so we made it (I let him guide me, as the original recipe is in Swedish) and then I ended up giving it a spin so we could have the freshly baked bread for dinner.
They turned out incredibly well, and if you are wondering, this is a vegan-friendly dish!

In this photo you see what ingredients we used, and how much of each. We decided to do only 6 buns instead of 12, as in the original recipe, because we are just 2 people and were looking to eat them for dinner.
Felix told me that the good thing about these is that you can freeze them for a very long time, and quickly heat them up in the microwave, if you wish to.
So, if you prefer, just double up these ingredients and you will get more buns out of it. We also weren’t too sure about how much yeast we were supposed to use (Felix says their yeast is different) so it should be around 7 grams, but I measured it and it filled up half of a quarter of a cup. I hope this makes sense!

We started by mixing the salt with the oil and water, to then add 3/4 of the flour. Then we combined the yeast.

Felix worked the paste with his hands and made it into a ball.

We let it sit, covered, for 15 minutes. When we came back, it was a much smoother consistency.

We sprinkled the remaining flour on a board and cut the paste into 6 pieces, which we made into small balls.
We let them sit, covered once again, for 3 more minutes.

Then we moved them onto a tray lined with baking paper, and added some toppings: in the original recipe, they brush an egg on top to get that brown/crispy effect – you can definitely skip this to keep it vegan.

I’ve also added some sesame seeds, but you can use what you prefer, or simply keep them plain.
We put them on the oven at 250*C for 15 minutes.

I’ve then cooked some vegan chicken nuggets (by Quorn – now they not only make vegetarian ones, but also vegan, which actually taste much better); I also cut up an avocado into small pieces, added some olive oil and chia seeds and mixed everything together; and finally added some hummus.

These are so tiny and delicious, that would make a great party food!
I hope you enjoyed this recipe, and send me photos if you end up trying it yourself.
Happy Sunday!
