SERIAL RITES Book Trailer

Hey Goodreaders!

I apologize for the delay of the Serial Rites Book Trailer. It took longer to upload than I thought it would and the video appeared blurry as well. Now, all systems are a go here, Facebook, YouTube and I will tackle other sites as well. Funny enough, my website is struggling in the uploading as well so I'm dealing with that right now. Thank you again for your patience.

Immovable Object v. Unstoppable Force-Book Review of WORTH DYING FOR

Picture Worth Dying For, Lee Child’s 15th novel to feature Jack Reacher, finds our knight-errant among the residents of Nebraska during winter. The residents find themselves hostages of the Duncan family. They control all the commerce in the area and the locals are afraid of them, why? Enter Jack Reacher doing what he usually does after hitch-hiking rides to various places around the country: Finding trouble.

As he acquaints himself with the locals, the 'phone tree' slowly informs him that the Dunca...

Characters Aplenty in FEAR OF THE DARK—Book Review

Picture Walter Mosley’s Fear of the Dark follows Fear Itself main characters, Fearless Jones, and Paris Minton. As in the prior book, Paris Minton remains the point-of-view character. What I like best about this book is Minton's interior monolog. I love his insights about life, women, Fearless and his brushes with danger. In relation to a confrontation with a white man who he believes misplaces his anger, Minton opines: “There he was working with someone who had committed all kinds of crimes and all...

*Another story from The Waste Lands Report. See previous entries on San Onofre here and here*

By Rob Nikolewski | Contact Reporter

June 17, 2017 | 6:00 AM

Is there a chance that the tons of nuclear waste at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) could finally get moved to another location?

Prompted by a lawsuit filed by an advocacy group, confidential negotiations are under way that may be exploring just that possibility.

The plant’s majority owner, Southern California Edison, is meetin...
