Latest SERIAL RITES Review
Here's the latest SERIAL RITES Review via Goodreads:
"I will say this...I enjoyed this story. I did have to get into the story a little bit to completely understand what all was going on and it was worth it. The author did a well deserved praise for giving the reader a story that was quite a mix of emotional craziness and believe it or not by adding a religious element to it all. Believe me when I say it all comes together in the end, yes all of the scriptures! It was really something seeing h...

THE PAWN: A Dark, Disturbing Thriller-Book Review
I've wanted to read Steven James for some time now. So, I started at the beginning with the thriller, The Pawn. FBI Agent Patrick Bowers tracks a seemingly uncatchable killer via his specialty in Environmental Criminology that focuses on the relationship between the offender, his victim, and his environment.
This is one positively convoluted story. James concocts threads of the investigation through multiple points-of-view. I love Bowers' internal wrestling with issues both professional and pe...

SERIAL RITES Goodreads Review
Here's a recent review of Serial Rites:
"...There is a lot of emotion and religion tied in with Serial Rites. This book is about dealing with loss as well as much as it is about pure detective work. I enjoyed the characters in Serial Rites. They were believable and I felt like I know the characters. The author did a great job of interjecting movie quotes, music references and jokes in Serial Rites..." Read the rest of the review here.

Characters Shine Amidst Lukewarm Plot in JUSTICE DELAYED-Book Review
Justice Delayed, a mystery/suspense novel from Patricia Bradley tells the story of intricate relationships that prove better in some ways than the crime plot itself.
The nearly 20-year murder of Stephanie Hollister convicted Jimmy Shelton. However, a friend of Stephanie's, Lacey Wilson, declares that he's innocent of the murder and she has proof. But before she gets that proof to him, she's killed. This sets in motion Jimmy's cousin Will Kincade, a Memphis Homicide Detective recently promoted...
