Food etc.
I have been spending vast amounts of time this week watching television - a combination of being under the weather, and the Smalls being with their father for Winter Break.
I'd love to be able to tell you I am now completely up on current events and have had CNN running non-stop, but sadly, that has not been the case. I rarely watch television, and these past few days I have been addicted to things like The Millionaire Matchmaker and Real Housewives of Wherever.
Happily, there are a few things ...

Intimates
Many of you know that I suffer from a dangerous addiction to online shopping. I have recently spent a week unsubscribing from emails that arrive by the boatload on a daily basis, informing me of fabulous sales that day. I have to look, because…well…it would be rude not to, and then, because I'm a girl who can never resist a bargain, I usually end up buying something, because…well…it would be rude not to.
The emails have now stopped, but every now and then I pop on to one of these sale...

Promises to Keep
I am finally starting to dig myself out of the sand of writing and editing, and getting back to the business of being a mother, wife, friend, cook, chauffeur, amateur pediatrician with a specialty in dermatology, and hostess.
Those of you who have been following me on Twitter or Facebook, will know that we have gone back and forth on the title of my latest book, and once again we have had to settle on different titles for the US and UK markets. It is frustrating when my readers search...

Dangerous Christmas Cookies
I am now starting to get excited about Christmas - my most favorite holiday of the year. Today, when the Smalls got home from school, I decided to make cookies, and we chose a recipe from the Junior League Centennial Cookbook. Honestly, I don't even know where this cookbook came from. I've never looked at it before, but it's rather good.
So we made these cookies, which were ridiculously easy, and they are so utterly moreish, I think I may have to leave the house. Seriously, they are sitting...
Bringing vous up to date…
Bonsoir, mes amies!
J'ai returned home from Paris, ou, si vous followed moi on Twitter (and vraiment, if you're not, vous really should be…), vous will know that there was a week when J'ai actually parlee en fluent Franglais. C'etait magnifique, et j'ai enjoyed myself immensely - J'avait forgotten quite combien Franglais J'ai knew, but it all came flooding back, particularly at l'aeroport, where a French woman with unfeasibly large lips attempted to queue-jump, not bargaining on La Furieuse...

Off to Paris…
We are off to Paris for Thanksgiving, where, I am told, it is cold, wet, and windy. I am armoured up with raincoats, scarves, and rain hats, and cannot WAIT to do lots of walking, and attempt my long-forgotten French. Also, the Smalls are with their father, so it is something of a mini-honeymoon for Beloved and I- no turkey for me this Thanksgiving, hopefully Steak frites instead.
I have been busy, busy, BUSY. The Hugh Grant interview ran in Parade. Click here to read on Parade.com. You will ...

Protecting Your Assets
This is so utterly hilarious I am posting the entire thing. Daily Candy fills up my inbox regularly. I am so fed up with their steals and deals, I rarely even open the emails, however this caught my eye.

Showing your vagina to total strangers.
Know what else?
Taking off a slinky minidress to reveal bulgy, sausage casing underthings.
