Writing Exercise

Write the first two sentences of a noirish detective story. Then someone else will write a scene that begins with your two sentences. And you might even write a scene starting with someone else's sentences. The scenes will be due Sunday. The openings are due as soon as you can get them in. Feel free to submit as many as you wish.
