Mystery

Life is a mystery, just as each one of us is also a mystery. You can escape this mystery by taking refuge in the temporary security of beliefs and fixed ideas. However, sooner or later the mystery will prevail over you.

So it is worth then to address this mystery.

Do you want to open up to the mystery then?

There are many courses, books, seminars, blogs, practices, teachers and esoteric places about mystery.

Yet, before you go into all that you can do something more at hand

Consider the first person you meet during the day.

If you’ve known it for a long time, forget everything you already know about them, put aside any definition you or others have given to that person, and act as if it were a stranger. Consider it as a total mystery.

Listen and watch this person carefully.

Recognize that you do not know anything about him or her.

Do the same with other people you meet.

At the end of the day…

Do the same with yourself.

Hypocrisy

Perhaps we are all hypocrites, conscious or unconscious simulators of thoughts, ideals, feelings, enterprises, emotions, that we do not experience to the end, or that are intended to conceal unmanageable, inconceivable, controversial and enigmatic aspects of ourselves.

Hypocrisy is the inevitable consequence of the denial, repression and removal of our shadow side, the mistery of who we are, what we are doing here, what is our purpose and destiny.

Since the removal, denial or perversion of the shadow side is a social, cultural phenomenon, underway for thousands of years, which characterizes every aspect of human life, what else can we expect but a hypocritical world?

The term “hypocrite” comes from the Latin “hypocrĭta”, from the Greek “hypokritḗs”, which means “actor”, “simulator”.

Perhaps the highest hypocrisy, the most masterful, which requires prodigious theatrical skills, is practiced by those who manage to hide their hypocrisy, not only to others, but also to themselves.

Perhaps the only way to avoid hypocrisy in this hypocritical world is to openly declare oneself as hypocrites, i.e. simulators, actors, comedians, actors.

Perhaps in this way we can gradually learn to recognize the distinction between the part we play, the role we play, and the one who plays it, who interprets it.

Who knows!

Maybe by doing so we will be able to understand who is behind the drama and the comedy of life.

Theatre

Theatre is probably the only form of free expression, just as theatre is likely to be the only way to escape from the grip of the ego and separate reality.

In theatre you can say and do anything, because you are clearly playing a part and whatever you say and do is not identified with yourself.

In theatre you free yourself from the idea of yourself and you can give space to everything you are, being serious about it, but without the dangers and consequences that derive from being serious about it.

Adentro y afuera

Within and without

You have more friends within than without…

Yet you also have more enemies within than without.

As a matter of fact, all your friends and enemies are within!

And also those who are neither friends nor enemies.

They are all within. Everyone and everything is within.

So who’s out there?

Out there, there is just yourself.

Inocente

Parents

From a multidimensional perspective at the end of the day it is a matter of realizing that our parents are not our parents.
As long as we believe that our parents are our parents, we block both them and us in this separate dimension.
It still involves treating them with care and respect, and even with more care and respect, but making it clear that they are not what this world has made us believe they are.
This dimension is generated by parents and their children.
If you really want to be free and multidimensional, if you intend to cease to return to this world of dualistic reproduction, you must become the parent of yourself, using sexual energy to give birth to who you really are.

Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.” “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” Mk 3: 31-35

Life is beautiful

Life is Beautiful! (for whom, when, where, why?)

When I read or hear the classic phrase “life is beautiful!”, I’m sorry to admit it, but I feel a certain annoyance. I believe this also happens to those who hear or read this phrase at times when life is not at all beautiful. In my case, however, the annoyance is not necessarily due to this reason. Even if life is beautiful for me, when I hear someone saying “life is beautiful!” I feel equally annoyed. Equally, however, it would annoy me to hear or read that “life is ugly!”.

What disturbs me is the generalization, that “life is beautiful”, which applies to any other definition, for example: “life is sacred”, “life is horrible”, “life is a gift” , etc.

If someone says “life for me right now is beautiful (or horrible, a gift, a hell, etc.)” then in my view it is very different. This for me implies the acceptance that this experience can change or that for others it may be different.

As a result, I feel comfortable and can share that for me right now life is “equally beautiful” or “horrible”, “so-so”, etc.

And if that person also gives me specific information about the nature of his beautiful or bad life experience, it becomes even more interesting. In this case the person tells me both the quality and the details of his experience, and this allows me to expand my awareness, making improvements and corrections, discovering new points of view, being supportive, etc.

But if someone just says that “life is beautiful!” And this is not my experience, it may mean that there is perhaps something wrong with me, that I should agree or be quiet to avoid arguments, or start a discussion to show that “life is not necessarily beautiful, that it could be horrible”, or I could even claim that “life is horrible!” with an opposite generalization, and therefore perhaps arguing or even worse.

In short, all this because of a generalization!

So, life is beautiful (or ugly, etc.) for who, when, where, why?

Innocent

If we considered the hypothesis that as human beings we are all innocent, we would be more inclined to prove our innocence, rather than our guilt.
The problem is that this hypothesis is not practicable because almost all existing beliefs and religions are based on our guilt.
Since the assumption is that a god, a group of gods or other alleged creators of the world, are good and perfect, if something does not work, well the fault must inevitably be given to human beings, or to something they have done and continue to do.
For this reason we have continued to fight, abuse, offend and blame each other for ages.
We continue to do so because our guilt, as human beings, is essential to guarantee the innocence of the creators of this world.
As long as we worship God, the gods and other creators of this world, we will continue to be guilty.
If we started from the hypothesis that as human beings we are all innocent, we would be more inclined to prove our innocence, rather than our guilt.
Try using this hypothesis, just as an experiment.
What happens to you when you consider your basic innocence and that of every human being?
