Full Moon in Libra 2

This Full Moon takes place on April 19, 2019, Good Friday, at 11.12 GMT in Libra at 29° 06′, following another the Full Moon in Libra on 21 March 2019.

So this year the Full Moon takes place two times in Libra, insisting on the same themes, in two very iconic days (Spring Equinox and Good Friday). Easter traditionally takes place the Sunday after the first Full Moon following the Spring Equinox. This year the Full Moon took place on March 21, 2019 at 1:42, about 4 hours after the Spring Equinox on March 20, 2019 at 21:58. The Church has opted to celebrate Easter after the second Full Moon. With the benefit of hindsight, one might almost dare to think that the disaster of Notre Dame could be due to this negligence, but I’d rather let that go and return to the themes of the Full Moon in Libra.

One theme concerns the conflict between the individual and their relationships, inner and outer, the relationship with a partner in the outer world and the relationship with oneself or one’s shadow in the inner realm.

When we see this conflict and the related grievances as an anomaly it is inevitable that when it occurs, we see it has something that should not be there, an accident, something that happened due to your mistake or someone else’s. This means that it is ultimately about identifying, blaming and even punishing a culprit.

Paradoxically, it is this research and identification of a fault and culprit that causes and amplifies the most painful and lethal features of a conflict.

If we accept that problems, pains, conflicts are inevitable because they are part of the natural traits of this reality, just like a Full Moon, then something radically healing may happen. We no longer focus on denyng, repressing or fighting the problem, but rather on how to respond and adapt to it, how to relate to it. Then a Full Moon, even on Good Friday, can become most beautiful!

In this reality there is spring and autumn, the New Moon (when Sun and Moon are united) and the Full Moon (when they are at maximum distance from each other). It is part of the nature of this reality. Similarly, there are pleasant and unpleasant emotions and thoughts that bring benefits or serious damage, there is life and death, health and illness. There are times when you feel happy, harmonious, loving with yourself or someone and other times where you are depressed, angry, hateful to yourself or someone. This has always happened. It is part of the nature of this reality.

You can believe it is a problem to be eliminated or to stay away from and then spend your whole life fighting it or avoiding it. Or you can accept it as natural and choose to respond to it, to relate to it.

In this reality the sign that your relationships work well is given by your ability to manage conflicts, misunderstandings, pains, anger, darkness, tensions as well as joy, love, pleasure. Relationship is about creating a relationship between two or more parties, accepting that circumstances can change.

We live in a reality founded on dualism, light and dark, life and death. The most stupid and destructive thing we can do is probably to blame someone, including ourselves, for this dualism. Another option is simply to accept all this and find ways to live peacefully in this situation, also exploring other options and even other realities.

Happy Full Moon and Easter

Healing through dance

Dance is the form of communication and healing par excellence. Through dance we align with the movement of nature and the stars, finding in our bodies the unity between earth and sky.

In astroshamanic healing dances, a contemporary adaptation of the ancient practices of Mediterranean mystery religions, your body merges with the earth and the sky, letting go of the identification with the ego and its social roles. This is the first step in healing: moving from the autistic state of our separate personality to the collective union with the planet and with the whole. From this perspective, a state of health is given by your adherence to wholeness and not to your personal physical conditions.

Health is not a competition intended to prove to be healthier and more performing, to live longer and better than others. Health means being aligned with the earth and the sky, feeling part of the whole, no matter if you are physically ill or not.

The disease is the identification with one’s body, being interested only in health and private well-being, the sense of separation from the whole. This is a disease, which will eventually get manifested even at a physical health, since no matter how healthy you appear to be in the end your body is going to die.

Everything includes the cycle of life and death. Every minute, one hundred million cells die in our body and this is to allow our body to live. Every day in the planet, 160000 people die and this allows the planet to live. Even this planet will eventually die, to allow the universe to live.

Healing does not mean healing yourself! Healing means ceasing to identify with your body.

When you identify yourself only with your own body, then you pretend that it will always live. Then you compete with other bodies and the environment you perceive as alien. You get depressed, you blame yourself or others if you are sick. But in reality you have been sick for a long time, whether you are healthy or ill. And even if you manage to overcome a physical illness, to the great satisfaction of your personal self-esteem, you will continue to be sick, even more sick than before.

The fact that you are able to recover from an illness, instead of dying, means nothing in terms of actual health. Of course, you can feel good and be admired for having won the disease, as well as writing successful books about it. But your victory over the disease actually serves to bitterly prove that those who die are losers. And since everyone is destined to die, including you, the moment you exult for your healing, you condemn everyone and yourself to defeat.

The dance and the healing touch serve to heal from the sense of separation, to recover your identification with everything and everyone, to accept life and death, to always be victorious, never over someone or something, but together with everything and everyone .

Ecstatic dances

In the Mediterranean shamanic traditions dance is aimed at achieving ecstasy. Ecstasy, from the Greek “ex stasis” (to be outside) implies the liberation from the identification with a separate body and individuality and access to a state of unity in consciousness. This state is never absolute because at the end of the dance the practitioner returns to their ordinary identity and everyday reality, but this is a conscious return. Their life from that moment will change because through the dance they created a bridge between two realities, a passage that allows them to reach the ecstasy at will.

Mediterranean shamanic dances are free, without structural rules. Dionysian dancers (satyrs and bacchantes) often used a rod (thyrsus) surmounted by a pine cone, in order to balance the body, but more properly as an example of the vertical axis and the typical release function of the sacred cone. The ecstatic posture par excellence involves the disarticulation of the body, the reversal of the head and the arms and elbows behind the shoulders.

Unknown

We are afraid of the unknown, of what is beyond our perception of reality, which is why we buy into consensus reality, pretending to know who and where we are, what is real and unreal.

Yet the unknown is waiting for each one of us behind the corner and sooner or later it will prevail. Then, of whom we pretend to be, of where we are, nothing will be left.

A matter of majority

Why is human life so full of conflicts, separation, pain, violence and why it ends up with illness and inevitably with death?

This may be simply a political choice.

The majority of human beings (86%) adhere to religious or ideological beliefs that blame mankind for their trespasses and sins, which lead to punishment or a request of indemnity based on suffering by a God or various deities.

As with so many other cases what happens in life is given by the consent of the majority, and this consent also has power over the minority.

Personal and collective astrological chart

From an astroshamanic perspective, the traditional birth chart represents the separated ego, founded on identification with a physical body and gender, linked to linear time and with a single inevitable end: death.

The work with astroshamanic healing consists in freeing ourselves from the addiction to this identity through the alignment with the collective planetary chart, the chart of the transits common to the whole planet and to every human being in a given time and space.

This chart is in constant transit: in the span of one day it covers all the signs of the Ascendant, during a lunar cycle it moves through all the signs of the Moon, in one year it covers all the signs of the Sun, etc.

It is first of all a question of recognizing the general planetary map, the celestial positions of the moment, identifying ourselves with them, and freeing ourselves from the identification with our own natal chart.

The natal chart shows where we are stuck and is precious because it represents the script of the conditionings of the separate identity, the portal to trascdend in order to access the chart in transit, the planetary chart, which we all share in this moment, which constitutes the alternative model of identification.

Once we are able to identify ourselves with the planetary chart, rather than with the personal natal chart, we can take a further step towards an even wider identity: the multidimensional one, which concerns the universe beyond time and space, the Center of all existence.

To encourage this process it would be helpful to be very careful whenever we define ourselves and others based on the natal chart, saying things like “he or she is like that because she or he has the Sun or the Moon or Saturn here or there, etc. “

When we say these things we are talking only about a script, a mask, a program, which is vital not to be confused with the individual, the soul. Perhaps it would be appropriate to clarify every time how things are or to leave these disquisitions out altogether. Alternatively, if we really want to define, we can instead refer to the collective planetary positions of a given moment, and in particular to the simpler ones of the Sun and the Moon, identifying with them, and then changing them each time according to the flow of time.

Who you are

Do you want to know who you are? But if you don't know who you are, who is it that wants to know who you are? You can hardly know who you are if you don't know who wants to know who you are.
