Happiness is the greatest cause of unhappiness.

Trying to be happy in this life is legitimate, while demanding to be happy, and resent it when it is not the case, is a different matter.
When this happens, and it happens very often, happiness becomes the greatest cause of unhappiness.
The obsessive pursuit of happiness, the compulsive idea that we must be happy at all costs, and that if this does not happen then our life is a failure, or it is someone’s fault, is what mainly causes our unhappiness.
The reality is that our happiness is regularly frustrated in the phenomenal world.
We are happy at a certain moment, but when the conditions that determine that happiness fail, then we are unhappy.
Also, now someone could be happy while someone else may be unhappy. In this way, happiness also becomes competitive, a source of conflict between happy and unhappy people, between those who believe that someone is responsible for his unhappiness and who believe that his happiness is threatened by someone. Ultimately this is what causes every violence, war and hatred.
Happiness is the greatest cause of unhappiness, when you believe that you should be happy, that life is beautiful, so there is something wrong if you are not happy. But do you really believe this? Are you really convinced? What is your direct experience of happiness and unhappiness, beyond what you believe or others believe?
My experience so far has shown me that happiness and unhappiness are part of life, that life can be beautiful and also horrible.
When I recognize and accept this, putting aside my fantasies and pretensions, then I realize that what matters in life is to accept both happiness and unhappiness, joy and suffering.
Acceptance becomes the guiding principle, what you choose to learn in life, which also includes the acceptance of not accepting.
The acceptance of both happiness and unhappiness can become the portal that allows access to true happiness.

Talking nonsense

We tend to have a lot of trivial and futile chats, keeping us from communicating what we really feel, because we are afraid of what we could say and of the reactions of those who listen to us.

We fear to offend or make others uncomfortable and above all to make ourselves uncomfortable. Then we continue to talk nonsense, postponing what we really want to say.

So time passes, until it’s too late and when the last minute comes we do not know what to say.

Remember that every minute can be the last and that it’s never too early to say what you really feel.

Believer and healer

Difference between believer and healer.

If you are a believer, you continue to believe in something even if it does not work.

If you are a healer, you continue doing what works even if you do not believe in it.

Beginning and End

Everything in this world begins and ends, everything is born and dies. All you are and have is provisional.

We know this well, and yet we look the other way, so that when something starts we believe it will last forever, so that when it ends we feel betrayed, abandoned and deceived. Hence all that had begun not only ends, but it is also hated and condemned.

Whatever there is in this world begins and ends continuously. We know this. So let’s stop fighting with others and ourselves, every time something ends.

If you do not accept that something is destined to end you will always feel deceived.

The next time something starts, be fully aware of its inevitable end, accept it completely. When you learn to accept the end, then slowly you can understand what remains after the end and what is there before the beginning.

The story of yourself

Don’t you get tired of continuing to repeat to yourself and others the story of yourself, with all the details about your family, work, relationships and all colorful events of your life, happy and unhappy?

How many times have you talked about it?

And how many times are you going to continue talking about it?

But are you really sure that this story is your own?

If you’re so sure then why do you need to repeat it all the time?

Are you trying at all costs to convince yourself that you are the story of yourself?

Are you the story of yourself or yourself?

Can you understand the difference between the story of yourself and yourself?

The story of yourself is what you keep telling to yourself.

Yourself is the one who is forced to listen to the story of yourself, and is probably sick and tired about it.

You feel bad because…

You feel bad because you waste your life in wanting to be perfect, all in one piece, using abstract and unrealistic ideas as models that make you believe in eternal success, happiness and love.
You feel bad because you are unable to manifest these goals and so you take it with yourself and with others, making them feel bad too.
In the end, everyone feels bad because they do not accept and are not accepted for what they are.
Stop blaming yourself because you’re not what you want to be and stop blaming others because they’re not what you want them to be.
Accept what you are, with all the apparent contradictions, which are just the various parts of you, the diversity and richness that exists within each of us, life and death, pleasure and pain.
The only way worth pursuing is to recognize, accept and integrate every part of you, from the highest to the lowest, recognizing it, accepting it and integrating it into others.
It takes a long time to do this. Perhaps you never stop. You will not be perfect, but you will be complete and whole and probably much happier.

Easter astroshamanic healing workshops and Pahai retreats, 14-15; 16-19; 20-23 April 2019, Merizzo (Massa, Italy),

This astroshamanic healing retreats consist of three workshops:

14-15; 16-19; 20-23 April 2019, Merizzo (Massa), Easter astroshamanic healing workshops and retreats, with Franco Santoro

Basic Workshop (14-15 April 2019), Holy Week Retreat (16-19 April 2019) and Easter Retreat (20-23 April 2019).  The Basic Workshop and the Easter Retreat can abe attended independently.

We will use astroshamanic tools for healing and soul retrieval aimed at acknowledging and restoring the full spectrum of our holistic nature, which we identify strategically in all its possible parts through the astroshamanic cosmology.

Basic Workshop (14-15 April 2019)

This workshop is designed to promote a gentle intimacy with your senses as gateways into your inner world and multidimensional nature.. It is a basic introduction to Astroshamanic Soul Retrieval & Healing Touch and to the Pahai Interdimensional method. Through shamanic trance, energy work, soul retrieval and physical contact, we receive visions and insights, redeploying energy and passion in accordance with one’s life purpose and the web of life. The workshop is also a celebration of Palm Sunday and the start of the Holy Week.

The workshop starts at around 10:30 am on Saturday and ends at around
6 pm on Sunday. It is possible to arrive earlier or stay extra nights
and continue with the Holy Week Retreat. It is possible to arrive earlier.

Holy Week Retreat(16-19 April 2019)

During this five-day course participants will experience advanced applications of Astroshamanic Soul Retrieval and Healing Touch. Drawing from the holistic wisdom of astroshamanic practices, we will experience ways to realign with the sacredness of our nature, releasing wounds inherited by our ancestors and supporting the emergence of a planetary healing consciousness. We will learn various healing modalities in alignment with the astrological archetypes, developing trust both in giving and receiving. We will also experience the multidimensional features of relationships, employing techniques aimed at releasing grievances and intense feelings accumulated in our life, promoting forgiveness, transformation and unconditional love. The workshop is designed for people who intend to employ this work both for themselves and in their practice with others. The Basic Workshop is a prerequisite for attendance.

This workshop is also a first level basic certificate course in Astroshamanic Touch. The workshop ends at around 6 pm on 19 April and can be followed by the Easter Retreat (20-23 April 2019).

Pahai Interdimensional Dance & Touch, 16-17 February 2019, Merizzo (Massa, Italy)

In this workshop, Franco invites you to join him on an empowering and
shamanic healing journey through movement, sound and sensuality,
astroshamanic dance and touch.

During this workshop we explore ways of employing the physical body
to foster expanded states of consciousness, retrieve soul parts,
reawaken healing talents and allow these to integrate into everyday
life.

Astroshamanic Healing Touch
is a shamanic bodywork application of astroshamanism. Its aim is to
explore the body’s spontaneous energies of ecstasy, uncovering and
directing their healing potentials with integrity and clarity of
intention.

Drawing from the practices of ancient mystery schools and the
astrological wisdom, Astroshamanic Dance and Touch works on the
multidimensional body, through the empowering use of shamanic trance,
according to clear boundaries and in alignment with planetary rhythms.

The weekend workshop starts at around 10:30 on Saturday and ends at 18 on Sunday.

Astroshamanic Carnival, Pisces Intensive, 2-3 March 2019, Merizzo (Massa, Italy)

2-3 March 2019, Merizzo (Massa), Pahai Interdimensional, Astroshamanic Carnival, Pisces Intensive, with Franco Santoro.

In this workshop we refer to the Mediterranean shamanic traditions,
combining Christian and Pagan elements, with particular regard to the
mysteries of Carnival.  We employ astroshamanic dance, theatre, touch
and rituals aimed at soul retrieval and liberation. Participants can
take their own costumes and masks, employ ours or make theirs here.

Carnival is associated with the month of February (from the Latin februa,
“tools of purification”), which was a period of cleansing and
purification, acted out through the provisional suspension of the social
order.

During this time the reality was upside down and people could let go
of their ordinary roles, taking on alternative identities and…
body-swapping. It was a celebration of the mysteries of the
multidimensional realms, with human beings shape-shifting into any form
they liked and possibly entities from other worlds and times sliding
into this earth and taking up human shapes.

Despite the separation from other dimensions and the loss of the capacity to shape-shift, which followed in more recent times, the original awareness is still currently preserved by the custom of wearing masks and costumes at Carnival. Persona comes from the Greek πρόσωπον (prósōpon), i.e. mask. The personality is a theatrical fiction, a mask. It takes time to create certain masks, especially if they are manufactured by artists, whereas other masks are cheap and can be found in supermarkets. Yet they are all masks. We can wear an attractive, seducing, luminous, ugly or depressive mask. Whatever the case at a certain stage it will get old and wear out, or we may even lose it. Hence it is useful to learn to wear other masks, or even better to learn who is behind the mask.
