Early Release and winning that chapter one of Cal 6
The early releases are trickling, but please don't buy until Monday, March 1st through Saturday March 6th. Even though Monday is the day before release the lists count the whole week, so to get the sneak peek of Chapter One of Cal Novel Six almost a year before it's out, copy your receipt and send me the pic or scan and March 1st will count too. *BUT*, help me out, people. Early Release? Please, GOD, NO.
There is a rumor about early release. Remember, guys, early release is DEATH to an author. It kills any chance of you making it on any list at all--unless you're huge already, much less one your publisher takes into account (I'm a medium sized fish. They don't know if I'm big enough to keep or small enough to throw back.) If anyone spots an early release actually in the store on a shelf or in a cardboard dump with two other authors (Anton Strout and Seanen McGuire)...and remember, no telling ...
