We Can Overcome Death – Christ’s Resurrection is Our Hope

WILLS POINT, TX — Amid the sorrow of millions of believers around the world after it was announced that K.P. Yohannan departed in the presence of God, we wanted to repost these thoughts from our founder. Our prayer remains that his legacy will continue to inspire the Church to continue on according to the Great Commission we have received, being faithful to bring the Gospel to our generation, just as Metropolitan K.P. continuously urged.

George Verwer’s Invitation to ‘Come, Die, and Live’ Radically Changed My Life

KP Yohannan: 'I invite you to come, die, and live.' I listened as George Verwer issued that unforgettable challenge to 400 young people like me.

George Verwer and KP Yohannan on a prayer walk together January, 31, 2020, in London, England.

“I invite you to come, die, and live.”

Those eight words! I’d never heard anything like it.

As a 17-year-old from a village in India, I listened open-mouthed at a mission conference as George Verwer issued that unforgettable challenge to 400 young people like me.

That night, I tossed and turned, agonizing over George’s invitation. I knew the Lord was calling me to go to places where people had never ...

Death Cannot Kill You – Christ’s Resurrection is Our Hope

A good friend and well-known Christian theologian visited our work in Asia. He came to one of the leprosy colonies, filled with people who are in horrible pain and suffering. They are so alone, rejected by everyone, without any hope of relief. Then, he was invited to share something to those who had gathered, share a word of prayer. He told us he stood there, numb, not knowing what to say.

Let me ask you—faced with a congregation who is familiar with every kind of suffering, what would you have ...

When the World Is in Crisis, We Must Turn to the Cross

It seems the whole world waits with bated breath, watching a situation unfold that will define the course of history. If evil has its way, no life will remain untouched. A nation in turmoil, riots filling the streets, and an oppressed people demanding the death that would lead to liberty. Jerusalem, AD 33.

In this season of worldwide crisis, my own heart would be overwhelmed, is it not also a season, for the Church, of hourly dependence upon God.Millenia later, the world is again torn apart at the seams. Civil War in Myanmar. Conflict in the Middle East. Violence and epidemic marring every hemisphere and now, the European continent t...

Myanmar: Christians, Let’s Pray for Our Brothers and Sisters

Luke recorded Peter’s miraculous deliverance from prison after “constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church” (Acts 12:5). Today, our brothers and sisters in the Church in Myanmar are caught in a bloody civil war, and they need our help. They are persecuted, killed, and are literally depending on our prayers for their deliverance. There is only one Church — the body of believers in Christ across the globe. When one part of the body is attacked, praying for their deliverance is up to ...
