Sorbet in the Midnight Hour
Tried mango peach again, with a few differences, based on what was at hand. I ended up using 1.5 limes, largely because I doubled up on peaches to make up for the fact that the mango (a red one) wasn't particularly sweet. The end result was good and produced a surprising amount of sorbet - it's the first time a batch has required two containers. The texture is very smooth, which is nice, and flavor-wise it's the peach that's dominant instead of the mango. The color isn't great - there's a lit...

How to Have Fun Parking In Washington
Arrive at your sister's apartment late at night. Family, successfully seen.
The Lincoln Tunnel, various bits of New York, and parking garages near MSG, successfully navigated.
Sister's cats, met and befriended.
Cousin's bar mitzvah, successfully and enjoyably attended. (He rocked the bimah.)
Weird paranormal podcasts listened to, more or less successfully
Bits of exploding tire from 18 wheeler in the next lane south of Fredricksburg, mostly avoided.
Sleep, eagerly anticipated
