Equalizer 2

I really enjoyed the first one based on the TV miniseries from the 90s and had high hopes for more. One aspect that I liked was that it focused much more on the human relationship aspects, which is something that is often overlooked and forgotten for action movies. It definitely added to the film, the negative was that because of editing errors, it felt slowed down. Very slow at times.

It is a rental.

Cave Rescue - Dry Bag Escape Pod

So Ive been thinking about this for a couple days. Those 13 kids stuck in the Thailand cave are running out of time, with new rain coming next week and oxygen levels decreasing. I was reading yesterday that they are trying to find 5 mil wet suits and it just really felt like they were waiting for a perfect situation to act. Its not going to be perfect, but they are going to have to take action soon.

Im a scuba diver, and what little I know about cave diving, I think it there is just no way you could expect those kids to swim out on their own power through that route, they will need to be towed or chaperoned out.

This is what I have been thinking about. Could probably make one in 1-2 hours. Reusable.

Antman and The Wasp

I know I'm so far behind on so many things, but there is a lot of good stuff happening behind the scenes here. I completing one of the biggest projects of my life, so Im very excited to be able to talk about it soon.

Caught Antman and the Wasp today. I was disappointed! The first one was way better. Some of the visuals were really outstanding, but there were a few problems with this "distracted humor" we saw in Thor:Ragnorok, where the actors just go off on these long targets that don't have anything to do with anything. They went wayyy to many times to that & it annoyed me. Second thing was the villian or villians, just didnt really make a lot of sense. I like having one clear and defined baddy that really screws everything up and this movie was missing it.

I hate to say this, but I think this is a rental!

PS- There is an after trailer clip that ties into Avengers:Infinity war, and Dang....it was so weak. I could have written a much better tie in, but at least it is there. Hint: Think time travel

Sicario 2

The first one was better and will be a classic. Sicario 2 was solid if you liked the first one. Plenty of timely insights into border security as well as the struggles of those coming and protecting it. Those aspects were thought provoking. I thought it was worth seeing in the theater with my Movie Pass. Very violent.
