A Simple Favor
Literally nothing else semi interesting came out this weekend, so I decided to give A Simple Favor a shot based on the reviews.
Really good acting and technical work. Hard to even explain the genre, half comedy, part mystery, part drama, part revenge movie. Not for kids or even mature teenagers.
Probably best as a Date Night movie at theaters, solid rental if this is your type of thing.

My nephew Hinano offered to help me shoot some lessons for my upcoming course, he was GREAT. Behind him you can see my #A7iii on a Crane 2 gimbal. Even with the kit lens, what a force that pair is. IBIS in the camera, with 6k overscan, just wow. Footage looks great. I use the #a7iii now more than any other camera for video including my GH5.

Hey guys & gals - i need some help picking a title for my new project: an international course in photography.
For many years I've been asked for photography courses in so many different languages and I was always disappointed to say they were only in English.
I initially looked at translation services & quickly realized that it was too expensive and tedious to be practical. Then I got the crazy idea.... "what if there were no languages used...at all? No languages...no translation needed! I had many, many doubts about wether or not this was even possible, and then I learned that western-Arabic numbers are used almost universally, with the exception of a few countries. It felt like an awesome challenge, that would really push me creatively as an instructor. I'm proud to say the first draft will launch in the next week or two.
I need help with the title though: originally I thought I would call it "Universal Digital Photography" but that felt too general, and I'm considering "Universal Photography Concepts"- Which one do you think is better? Any other suggestions?
I'll be looking for several testers if you are interested, let me know in the comments and I'll reach out to you (free of course). Thanks in advance!

I heard this was something Bear Bryant read each morning after waking up and it has really resonated with me. Each and every single day we have on this earth is a blessing and not to be squandered. Make each one count. Our time is finite. There is so much noise out there. Find the things that matter and pursue them with reckless abandon. Disregard everything unworthy of your time and energy. Find & embrace those who make you a better person (not necessarily those who make u feel good), for as The Bear also said "I ain't never been nothing but a winner" and that mindset is something special. Now go out an carpe some diem!
