Grand Master Award

I am very, very honored to be named a Grand Master by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Poetry Association -- and I am delighted to receive the award alongside the amazing Akua Lezli Hope :-)

Dwarf Stars

I am startled and honored that my poem What Trees Read, first published in Uppagus, has won the 2022 Dwarf Stars Award, given annually by SFPA (the Science Fiction and Fantasy Poetry Association) for the best short-short speculative poems. 🙂 The poem tied for first place with “Poem with Lines from My Son” by Jen Stewart Fueston.

I am very happy to report my first appearance in Fantasy Magazine: they've just published my short story Introduction to Couture 101 :-)

Rhysling Award

!! I am very happy to report that my poem Confessions of a Spaceport AI, first published in Uncanny Magazine, has just won the 2022 Rhysling Award for best short poem :-) :-)
