THE TRACK SERVES AS THE OPENING THEME FOR HIT ANIME SERIES—

KAIJU NO. 8 SEASON 2 — PREMIERING JULY 19th

July 18, 2025 — Norwegian artist, producer and songwriter AURORA shares her new single “You Can’t Run From Yourself (from Kaiju No. 8)” today via Capitol Records. Written exclusively as the opening theme for Season 2 of the hit anime series, the track is an original composition inspired by the deep introspection and emotional journey of the protagonist, Kafka Hibino / Kaiju No. 8. AURORA has publicly shared her love for anime, making this collaboration especially meaningful. Listen HERE.

AURORA explains, “‘You Can’t Run From Yourself (from Kaiju No. 8)’ was written for those who know the struggle between light and darkness, angels and demons within themselves. It's about how hard it is to run away from the parts of ourselves that are also a part of who we are.”

Season 2 of the highly anticipated series premieres Saturday, July 19 at 11:00 PM (JST) airing weekly on TV Tokyo and available for worldwide real-time streaming on X. “You Can’t Run From Yourself (from Kaiju No. 8) is also featured in the Season 2 main trailer: “A New Threat”, which has already surpassed 1.5 million views and can be viewed HERE.

Based on the popular manga by Naoya Matsumoto with over 18 million copies printed, the anime Kaiju No. 8 first aired in April 2024 and captured audiences worldwide with its emotionally resonant characters, intense Kaiju battles, and compelling stories of friendship and resilience.

With anticipation from fans around the globe, the long-awaited Season 2 sees Kafka Hibino confronting the overwhelming power of “Kaiju No. 8.” As the Defense Force begins to shake under his existence, an unprecedented new threat emerges. Now detained by the Defense Force as “Kaiju No. 8,” Kafka comes face to face with the strongest man in the Defense Force — Gen Narumi. As new, evolved threats surface, the Defense Force is pushed into an unprecedented predicament and the next chapter in this new-generation Kaiju action is set in motion once again.

Fresh off her recent set at Glastonbury Festival in the UK, AURORA continues to reach new heights globally — selling out arena shows in Mexico, London’s Wembley Stadium, and more. She will perform at festivals across the UK, Europe and the US throughout the summer, including Wilderness Festival (Oxfordshire, UK), Rock en Seine (Paris, France), Bumbershoot Festival (Seattle, US), and Corona Capital (Mexico City, MEX). NASHVILLE, TN (July 18, 2025) — DAVE STEWART — the highly acclaimed Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Songwriter Hall of Famer, Eurythmics co-founder, producer and renowned songwriter — has released DAVE DOES DYLAN across all streaming platforms via Surfdog Records. The 14-song homage to Bob Dylan, originally released earlier this year as an exclusive Record Store Day vinyl, features Stewart’s raw, inspired renditions of Dylan’s most iconic songs.

STREAM DAVE DOES DYLAN HERE.

Also, starting today, a special pre-order is available for a limited edition vinyl variant of the album, exclusively through TalkShopLive. Each copy of this unique sky blue pressing includes an autographed insert from Dave Stewart. Stewart will appear on TalkShopLive for a live-streamed interview on August 13, ahead of the vinyl’s official release on August 29. To learn more and pre-order your copy, visit TalkShopLive.

The spirit and sonic foundation of DAVE DOES DYLAN is built with live takes, pure and unedited. Featuring just Dave Stewart on vocals and guitars recorded in one take, the album finds him performing inspired renditions of Dylan’s songs — all of which he has adored since an early age.

As Billboard noted, “they’re songs Stewart recorded on his iPhone over time — during breaks in the studio, in his hotel rooms on tour or backstage at gigs.” Stewart adds: “Whenever I was waiting in-between something, I just started to put an iPhone on a little stick and sing a Bob Dylan song. I was just doing it for fun, and then I would put one up on Instagram every now and then and people would say, ‘Oh, we love this! Why don’t you make an album of this?’”

Earlier this year, DAVE STEWART taped an episode of Recorded Live at Analog inside The Hutton Hotel in Nashville, performing songs from DAVE DOES DYLAN with the addition of strings, pedal steel guitar, and keys. The performance is scheduled to premiere on public television on September 5.

BOB DYLAN HAS SAID: “Captain Dave is a dreamer and a fearless innovator, a visionary of high order, very delicately tractable on the surface but beneath that, he’s a slamming, thumping, battering ram, very mystical but rational and sensitive when it comes to the hot irons of art forms. An explosive musician, deft guitar player, innately recognizes the genius in other people and puts it into play without being manipulative. With him, there’s mercifully no reality to yesterday. He is incredibly gracious and soulful, can command the ship and steer the course, dragger, trawler or man of war, Captain Dave.”

DAVE STEWART SHARES: “When I was first learning the guitar, I was about 14 or 15 years old — which would’ve been like 1964 or ’65. I was insistent on getting into folk clubs, but I looked about 12 years old, so they kept me out for a while. Then one chap, Mick Elliot, took pity and allowed me to play at The George & Dragon which became the center of the folk music scene in my hometown, Sunderland N.E. England, in the 1960’s. It was like stepping into a sacred room where visionaries and rebels converged — actually, it was simply a room upstairs in a pub full of older folk singers, beer, whisky and cigarette smoke everywhere. I was allowed to sing two songs, so I would play Bob Dylan songs from his albums that my brother had left behind when he went to college.

The audience was always a bit shocked that this kid, who looked so young, was singing these lyrics — especially in that kind of folk club. It was mostly old folk music that was being played from the local area about the coal mines and about the shipyards, which I loved too…and Dylan would have loved also. I started to sing and play these Dylan songs anywhere I could; in other folk clubs, even on the street all over the north east of England. From then on, I got every Bob Dylan album — and still do to this day — on Vinyl and in every possible variation.

One day in 1985, I received a phone call from Bob Dylan while I was in the studio in Los Angeles. At first, I thought it was my friend joking when the receptionist said ‘Bob Dylan on the phone for you,’ but I could tell as soon as he spoke, it was Bob. We met up that night and we talked about everything; films, music, life, etc., and we ended up in a great Mexican place in South L.A.

He knew everybody and he said, ‘hey, why don’t we make a video tomorrow or the next day?’ It was already two in the morning, but I agreed and I helped make various videos with him during which we became great friends. Years later, I filmed “Blood In My Eyes,” which is a video I shot on two 8mm cameras — just the two of us walking around Camden town.

I’ve played on stage with Bob in London, L.A. and Tokyo, and I find conversations with him — whether on the phone or when we’re together — really relaxed and easy. As you can imagine, he is full of great observations and wisdom, all wrapped up in a poetic language. I’m so, so grateful for getting to know him personally and to now record this album of songs after years of singing them to friends and to myself. It's been a long road and these lyrics and melodies have kept me company through the best and the worst of times. I hope my album can do the same for Dylan fans out there—who understand the mastery and the mystery Bob has bestowed on us, and still does to this day.”

“I FALL FOR YOU LIKE DOMINOES”

July 18, 2025 – Today, Auckland’s soul-electronic collective LEISURE share their new single, “Dominoes,” a catchy beat-driven track that ignites like the spark of falling in love. The band shares the meaning behind saying, “’Dominoes’ highlights the cyclical nature of love, where every moment, whether high or low, contributes to the overall depth of the connection. Each fall—like the dominoes—brings the two closer together, making the love feel both inevitable and endlessly new. It embraces the beauty of loving one person endlessly, where every day feels like falling for them all over again.

"We had a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend some time at legendary mid-century architect Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West,” the band adds. “The video for ‘Dominoes’ is a visual explosion of our time spent in such a unique and otherworldly space".

“Dominoes” is the latest release from their forthcoming studio album, Welcome To The Moodwhich will be released on September 12, 2025. For their fifth studio album, the genre-defying sextet refines their soulful, slow-burning ethos into a radiant new chapter – one rooted in togetherness, creative freedom, and the lived experience of a band evolving with authentic purpose. They also embraced a more organic, live-recording approach on Welcome To The Mood. The group explains, “Off the back of touring the last album, we had played more shows than ever and wanted to bring more of the live element into the process, so we didn’t use drum breaks and loops as much as previous records and tracked live.” They continued expanding their sound by bringing in specialist musicians — string sections, brass, pianos, and backing vocalists — pushing the sonic possibilities beyond their individual skill sets. Yet at its core, the album remains deeply personal. Written in remote hideaways, the songs carry the tranquility of escape while capturing a newfound confidence in emotional vulnerability.

Thematically, Welcome To The Mood is a rich sonic auditory tapestry woven with threads of authenticity, humanity, and creative celebration. Lyrically, the album explores universal experiences — love, loss, connection, hope, and purpose — drawn from the everyday yet rendered in LEISURE’s distinct palette of lush tones and laid-back groove. Tracks are anchored in realness but elevated by a sonic landscape that feels simultaneously nostalgic and futuristic, mirroring the ethos of Frank Lloyd Wright, whose Taliesin West provided literal and symbolic inspiration during the album’s visual journey. By choosing Taliesin West as a backdrop, LEISURE pays homage to Wright’s architectural genius and further establishes their vision that art, whether through architecture or sound, plays a vital role in enriching everyday life. The band adds, “It’s incredible how even in 2025 the spaces Frank Lloyd Wright built in 1937 still feel futuristic and nostalgic at the same time, this is a goal for our music as well. His inspiration to build spaces for creativity and connection is also something we share.”

Following the album release, the band will hit the road in Europe and North America for a fall tour that launches in October with a performance at the Austin City Limits Festival.  It includes stops in New York (Terminal 5), Toronto (The Concert Hall), Chicago (Vic Theater), Los Angeles (The Novo), Vancouver (Commodore),  London (Roadhouse), Paris (Bataclan), Berlin (Huxley’s), and more.

In a world preoccupied with instant gratification and overnight success, LEISURE have been taking the scenic route. The six members - and mates - came together in 2015 on a spontaneous trip up New Zealand’s rugged west coast. At that stage, they’d independently spent years churning through the music machine’s tight jaws. Individually, the five are award-winning songwriters, producers, and creatives. Together, they resolved to carve out a new musical paradigm: cut the crap, enjoy the ride, and above all, keep it LEISURE. Welcome To The Mood follows the acclaimed 2023 album Leisurevision, which received praise from BBC, Rolling Stone, KCRW, and more. 530+ million streams later, festivals like Lollapalooza, M3F, and the upcoming ACL date, and sold-out headline dates throughout NZ, Australia, the UK, Europe, and the US, they’re doing something right.

Chicago-born, Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer Natalie Bergman releases her highly anticipated sophomore album,  My Home Is Not In This World out today via Third Man Records. Listen to the full album  HERE .

Infused with throwback sounds and vintage textures, My Home Is Not In This World draws on the timeless grooves of the 1960s while layering in soulful basslines and luminous vocals. Co-produced by Bergman herself with her brother and longtime collaborator Elliot Bergman, the 12-track collection shimmers with gospel soul, country-western heartache, and rock ‘n’ roll grit, all anchored by Natalie’s unmistakable voice.

Where her critically acclaimed 2021 debut solo album  Mercy  was steeped in grief and spiritual reckoning after the sudden loss of her father and stepmother, My Home Is Not In This World emerges from a season of rebirth. In 2024, Bergman welcomed her son, Arthur, an experience that transformed her songwriting into something equally tender and transcendent. The album balances heartbreak and loss against the transformational theme of motherhood, resulting in some of her most personal and radiant work to date.

The album includes the newly released single “Lonely Road,” a track infused with classic influences that showcases Bergman’s luminous vocals and knack for timeless melodies. “Lonely Road” follows earlier singles “Dance” and “Gunslinger,” each offering a glimpse into the shimmering songwriting and evocative production that define this new era. “Gunslinger” sets the tone with smoky vocals, ghostly guitars, widescreen strings, and a slow-burning groove that evokes classic western film scores and vintage soul. Lyrically, it conjures a portrait of unrequited longing, for a something that feels just out of reach.

To celebrate the release, Bergman will embark on a run of headline shows across the UK and Europe this fall. Additionally, she will join Rilo Kiley on their highly anticipated reunion tour this summer, performing across select dates in major cities throughout North America.

Bergman’s solo work has garnered widespread acclaim from Rolling Stone, NPR, and other tastemakers, and with this new collection, she further cements her reputation as a songwriter unafraid to mine her own story for universal truths while staying true to her unmistakable sonic palette.

The Technicolors drop the facade on "First Class to Nowhere"

THE TECHNICOLORS DROP THE FACADE ON

NEW SINGLE “FIRST CLASS TO NOWHERE” — STREAM

WITH FEATURED VOCALS FROM MADISON CUNNINGHAM

NEW ALBUM HEAVY PULP SET TO ARRIVE

ON AUGUST 29 VIA SOUNDON — PRE-SAVE

ALBUM RELEASE SHOWS IN LA, PHOENIX & NYC

ON SALE NOW — TICKETS

Press photo by Lupe Bustos

“The band’s repertoire encompasses everything from dreamy, bedroom pop-esque ballads to riff-driven, unapologetic rock tracks that leave the listener wondering how everything could possibly come from one band.”

“Snappy garage rock with just a hint of Britpop, the band's taut, concise songwriting has lyrical flair and just a taste of melodic bite.”

Up next from their forthcoming album Heavy Pulp, rock band The Technicolors today release “First Class to Nowhere.” Pared back in comparison to some of their recent releases, there’s a sense of tenderness to this track’s naked vulnerability. Featuring guest vocals from Madison Cunningham, lyrics are effortlessly traded back and forth, creating lightness in the song’s atmosphere — Stream

The Technicolors’ Brennan Smiley opened up by saying, “For whatever reason I’ve noticed a pattern where I’ll attempt to write a song directly for someone close, or with that specific person in mind, and it almost always turns out that I’m actually writing it to myself just the same. That’s what this song ended up becoming; a sort of ‘get well soon’ card to myself and to that person and to anyone. While a lot of other songs on the album take a different approach — hiding behind masks or playing different characters as a way of revealing something else, it was important for this song to feel as naked and vulnerable as possible and to risk that level of honesty. I’d be lying to myself if I said that came easy.”

Heavy Pulp will be released on August 29 via SoundOn. The album was produced by GRAMMY-nominated Robert Adam Stevenson (Queens of the Stone Age, The Kills) and features BRONCHO’s Nathan Price on drums. The Technicolors’ Brennan Smiley will be out on the road playing guitar in BRONCHO on their tour this summer. Sonically massive and dripping in confidence, this will be The Technicolors’ first album since 2021, following a pause to take time away and create deliberately. Pre-save Heavy Pulp here

Following their last album Cinema Sublimina, The Technicolors needed a moment to take a breath. Spending over a decade out on the road and constantly trying to put out enough music to keep other people happy, the band decided to slow down in order to not cut important corners. During this period of “dormancy” the band’s catalog shot to new heights, priming them for their biggest chapter yet. After putting their heads down in a time where bedroom pop was being favored, the band got to work and now reemerges in a space where being a rock band feels viable again.

Along with the release of Heavy Pulp, The Technicolors will play a string of album release shows in Los Angeles, their hometown of Phoenix, and New York City. Each show will be supported by Jo Alice. Tickets for all three shows are on sale now here.

DREAM, IVORY Release New Album + Fall Tour with WISP

DREAM, IVORY

RELEASE NEW ALBUM

WHEN YOU COME BACK I HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL YOU

WATCH NEW “SOMETIMES” VIDEO

FALL TOUR WITH WISP

When You Come Back I Have So Much To Tell You Album Art

Praise for Dream, Ivory:

"romantic, drifting dream pop" - Stereogum

“traces the roots of shoegaze, wobbly alt-rock, and the murk of SoundCloud uploads” - Alt Press

“a cosmic synth track that might as well have been ripped out of your favorite suburban coming-of-age film” - Paste Magazine

"incandescent dream pop" - Vice

“Lo-fi distortion” - Nylon

“rides the line between fun and devastating” - Consequence

Los Angeles duo Dream, Ivory have released their new album, When You Come Back I Have So Much To Tell You, due out July 18th. Next month, they’ll head out on a full North American tour with breakout shoegaze star Wisp. Additionally, the band have shared a new music video for emotional album centerpiece “Sometimes,” an "oxymoronic song about a relationship that has ended. Both parties have been over each other for a good while, but accept the fact that in its rarity, the thought of one another seems to always make its way to the forefront of their brains regardless of past trauma."

Growing up in Southern California, brothers Christian and Louie Baello were each other’s universe. “We experienced the world through the same frame,” Christian says. That frame was heavily influenced by the number of times they moved, their identity as first generation Filipino Americans, and their parents’ love of music. Enlisted in piano lessons by their dad at a young age (“it wasn’t a choice,” Louie jokes), the Baello brothers cut their teeth covering the music their parents were raised on, everything from ABBA and the Bee Gees to the Beatles. Christian helms the production on Dream, Ivory tracks while Louie is the primary lyricist/vocalist, but every song they make is a true collaboration. Music has always been central to their sense of self-perception, but it’s just one of the brothers’ many talents. Together, they make all of Dream, Ivory’s artwork, videos, and visuals, it’s working: They have over 450 million streams across their catalogue and their debut single “welcome goodbye” is RIAA certified gold.

When You Come Back I Have So Much To Tell You follows Dream, Ivory’s 2022 debut LP, About a Boy, an album that interrogates difficult topics surrounding mental illness and suicidality with grace and conviction. When You Come Back… incubates a distinctive period in the brothers’ lives defined by dislocation and addiction. When their parents decided to move back to the Philippines, Louie moved to Los Angeles to live with Christian and his girlfriend, Lilia Shibuya, who contributed writing to the album. Though the brothers have been prolific since their teenage years, they stagnated as cohabitants. “We just didn’t really give a fuck about creating in that moment, there was just no inspiration in our lives,” Christian says. “Instead of writing, we’d get shitfaced drunk. It was bad. We’d record a riff, then take a shot.”

The brothers attribute that lack of inspiration to their early achievements. At 19, raking in tens of thousands of listeners on a single track felt like a major accomplishment, but the more Dream, Ivory grew, the benchmark for success leveled up. “There’s so much riding on our old shit, coming up with something new felt like going to the fucking moon,” Christian says. The moon being far, Christian spiraled. “I was drinking so much and getting caught by my brother, my girlfriend,” he says. “I was kicked out of our place.” But bottoming out eventually renewed his sense of purpose. Christian got sober, moved back in with his loved ones, and a songwriting breakthrough expanded their imagination of what Dream, Ivory could be.

Inspired by anime and J-pop, lead single “Solar Eclipse” chronicles a romance between the sun and moon over incandescent dream pop, and precedes the recent “Tangerine Dream,” “All Good,” “Lost Angeles,” and at “At Zero,” a blistering and catchy song Alt Press praised, writing “their strongest and most alluring, traces the roots of shoegaze, wobbly alt-rock, and the murk of SoundCloud uploads.”

Sly & The Family Stone were true pioneers on so many levels: black/white, male/female, rock/soul, the act shattered all preconceptions of what popular music could be and would go on to become one of the most innovative and influential groups the world has ever witnessed. Originally released as a sold-out, limited edition LP, earlier this year for Record Store Day, The First Family: Live at Winchester Cathedral 1967 is an electrifying live performance by the original Family Stone line-up, a full year before their chart breakthrough with “Dance To The Music.”

This fascinating recording was featured in Questlove’s critically acclaimed 2025 documentary, Sly Lives! (aka The Burden of Black Genius) and spotlights Sly Stone’s singular brilliance on a tremendously exciting and atmospheric set of vintage soul covers and original compositions, peppered with the arrangements, motifs, and intoxicating energy that would soon become familiar during the group’s ascent.

Sly & The Family Stone served as the house band at Redwood City, CA’s Winchester Cathedral from December 16, 1966, to April 28, 1967, lighting up the club with their dynamic, crowd-pleasing performances. The First Family: Live at Winchester Cathedral 1967 was recorded in the early hours of March 26, 1967, by Sly & The Family Stone’s first manager, Rich Romanello. Upon the group’s signing to Epic Records later that year, Romanello put the 7-inch analog tapes into storage where they sat for thirty-five years. The reels were rediscovered in 2002 by Dutch twins Edwin and Arno Konings, renowned Sly & The Family Stone archivists, and carefully restored by their co-producer, Palao, for this set.

With mastering by Dan Hersch and a lacquer cut by Kevin Gray, the result is an electrifying 50 minutes that proves that the genius and skill of Sly & The Family Stone came fully formed. Indeed, this is where it all began.

Photo credit: Ragan Henderson DOWNLOADJuly 18, 2025—Award winning pianist, composer, vocalist, and multidisciplinary artist Samora Pinderhughes today unveils his highly anticipated new mixtape,  Black Spring , made in collaboration with The Healing Project—listen/share  here .Black Spring, formed around new songs inspired by Pinderhughes’ sold-out performance in February at Harlem's legendary The Apollo, celebrates the 100th birthyear of seminal author and activist James Baldwin. The 10 tracks blend emotive and poetic piano ballads with modern electronics and R&B production, fusing a cohesive, genre spanning sound that brings a refreshing take to the neo-soul canon. The tracklist features members of Pinderhughes’ tight knit New York community including Elliott Skinner, Jamila Woods, Dani MurciaJehbreal JacksonMarcus Gilmore and more.Rooted in the tradition of Black radical music and collective organizing, the songs challenge racial capitalism, police violence, mass incarceration, and systems of domination both in the U.S. and globally, providing a clear message of resistance. On the mixtape, Pinderhughes shares, "In a time when so many are overwhelmed, numbed, or uncertain in how to respond to the rise of authoritarianism and state violence, Black Spring offers a necessary jolt—an invitation to feel, to remember, and to move. It meets people where they are—be it in grief, in rage, or in quiet despair—and channels those emotions into momentum."The mixtape comes amidst a slew of new awards and community work for Pinderhughes; most recently, he has been named the Adobe Creative Resident at MOMA, a Pioneer Works Visual Art & Music Resident, and has given a TED Talk/Performance that will be released publicly on August 1—he’s also currently getting his Ph.D. at Harvard University, where he teaches an undergraduate class titled “Music in Social Practice: Sounding the Chorus of Community.’On February 22nd at The Apollo, in celebration of Baldwin’s legacy, Pinderhughes performed The James Baldwin Essays: As Much Truth As One Can Bear, an immersive multimedia experience that wove together songcraft, poetry, film, and inspiration from Baldwin’s own plays & essays like The Amen Corner and The Cross of Redemption. Originally commissioned by Harlem Stage in 2015, Pinderhughes refreshed the original score with new songs and new voices. Rounding the mixtape out with recently released single “Am I Human,” with features poetry from artist Keith LaMar who is currently on death row, Pinderhughes pulls from overlooked previous EPs and singles to rework a cohesive body of work that confronts structural violence and reckons with America’s history. The tracklist blends live and studio performances, imagining a new future for the nation that replaces systems of harm with systems of care—find the full tracklist below.About Samora PinderhughesSamora Pinderhughes is a composer, pianist, vocalist, filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist known for examining sociopolitical issues and fighting for change through his art. Speak For Yourself (20th Anniversary Remaster)  album art

Imogen Heap’s beloved landmark album Speak For Yourself was released exactly 20 years ago on July 18, 2005. Entirely written, produced, and mixed by Imogen Heap herself, it helped redefine what an independent artist could accomplish - creatively and commercially. She is thrilled to celebrate this monumental day with the announcement of the Speak For Yourself (20th Anniversary Remaster) due out October 17 via Megaphonic Records. Timed with intention, the release date celebrates Imogen reclaiming full control of her work, with her publishing rights reverting on that day and her masters already back in her hands since early 2025.

To mark the 20th anniversary today and to celebrate the success of RIAA certified Gold single “Hide and Seek” and RIAA certified Platinum single “Headlock,” Imogen is releasing an exclusive conversation with longtime collaborator and world renowned mastering engineer Simon Heyworth assisted by his colleague Bill Sellar at SuperAudioMastering in Devon about the creative process behind the song’s new remastered version out today July 18, 2025 via Megaphonic Records. Heyworth worked on the original album 20 years ago and returns with his audio engineering magic to bring a refreshed and renewed production quality to the beloved record.

Discuss Remastering “Hide and Seek”

This special new release celebrates the record’s cultural impact and legacy – from “Hide and Seek” being parodied in Saturday Night Live’s “Dear Sister” 2007 digital short, to Ariana Grande reimagining “Goodnight and Go” on her 2018 album Sweetener with Heap credited as a co-writer, and most recently “Headlock” going viral on TikTok in late 2024, leading to a Billboard Hot 100 debut in Jan 2025“Headlock” was also recently sampled by ONEFOUR feat The Kid Laroi in their collab “Distant Strangers”.

Revered in tandem for her work embracing technology and the future of artistry and AI,  Imogen’s latest innovation Auracles not only highlights Imogen’s desire to embrace emerging technologies but to protect independent artists, like herself, along the way. Built upon 10 years of foundational work with The Creative Passport, an Auracle ID is a sovereign digital ID for artists that will help them retain visibility and control of their creative IP in an increasingly opaque digital world. Auracles provides both a home for their creative works and supports the future tools to declare permissions and ethically do business with future services. One immediate win with this approach is “sampling made easy” turning licensing into a collaborative and streamlined process. Imogen’s own music has been widely sampled, both with and without her permissions, and with Auracles she aims to encourage collaboration by connecting creators directly and fairly with the other artists or entities that may wish to license or sample their work.

Speak For Yourself (20th Anniversary Remaster) will be released for the first time on heavyweight 180g double black vinyl, the most high-fidelity physical format the album has ever received. Alongside comes a set of limited edition vinyl variants - bold, collectible pressings that speak to the album’s eclectic and emotional palette. The record's iconic artwork has also been reimagined, amplifying its original spirit while embracing the passage of time. Under Heap’s direction, the playfully filtered portrait is reborn with richer colours, and a refreshed halftone pattern that vibrates with new life – much like the record itself. Twenty years later, Speak for Yourself still sounds unmistakably like the future.

To celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary, Imogen will host a special livestream today @ 1pmEST / 6pmBST broadcasting across all major platforms. Fans are invited to join the conversation via the chat on heapster.live, where she’ll be answering questions live. For the past two decades, Imogen has explored new ways to connect directly with her audience - inviting them into her process, her home, and her ideas. This chat will be the heart of that connection.
