Katy will launch the Lifetimes Tour in Mexico, with seven arena shows. In Australia, the demand for tickets to her initial eight arena shows was so strong that five shows were added. The summer will bring Katy back to North America where, in addition to crisscrossing the U.S., she’ll play seven sold-out arena shows in Canada.

September will bring her to South America, where her arena dates in Buenos Aires are sold out and limited tickets remain for her stadium show in Chile. Katy will wrap up the 2025 tour in the UK and Europe, where popular demand led to multiple added shows in London, Paris, and new shows in Munich and Bologna.

Katy launched 143 – a bold, exuberant dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message – with a sold-out headline show at Rock in Rio in Brazil in September 2024. Rolling Stone Australia observed, “Perry’s midnight set on the Palco Mundo stage where she would play her newest tunes for the first time became the high point of the night. Taking the stage as fireworks lit up the Rio sky, Perry had the 100,000-strong crowd going wild with dazzling visuals and pyrotechnics that transformed the City of Rock into a vibrant spectacle…”

"LAST ONE ALIVE'!"

WATCH: https://youtu.be/-CtzV7OSJc4?si=SVP0MLnSwSCtv_Ma

(January 27, 2025) – Today, Pink Siifu releases his fourth solo album, BLACK’!ANTIQUE via Dynamite Hill, in partnership with Roc Nation Distribution. His new solo album bookends a prolific run of collaborative projects for Siifu since his last solo album (2022’s GUMBO’!) including Real Bad Flights (with Real Bad Man), Leather Blvd. (with Ahwlee as B. Cool-Aid) and It’s Too Quiet..’!! (with Turich Benjy). BLACK’!ANTIQUE, which The FADER called one of their most anticipated albums of 2025, includes both previously-released singles “SCREW4LIFE’! RIPJALEN’!” and “WHOUWITHHO+” featuring Kal Banx, and documents the latest amorphous iteration of Siifu’s relentlessly evolving sound. Alongside the album, Siifu is also releasing a new video for "LAST ONE ALIVE'!", which he first teased last week as the second half of his two-part On The Radar Freestyle.

Widely regarded as one of the central figures and catalysts for the flourishing creative community of peers that surrounds him, Siifu’s new album enlists a cadre of talented artists and producers agnostic of generations and genres. BLACK’!ANTIQUE enlists guest features from 454, BbyMutha, HiTech, Ho99o9, Liv.e, B L A C K I E, Big Rube, Monte Booker, V.C.R., WiFiGawd, Big Rube & many more. The album also features production from iiye, Kal Bankx, Butcher Brown’s DJ Harrison & Morgan Burrs, Nick Hakim, Fatboi Sharif, HiTech & many more.

“This album was made with the intent to sharpen and truly show that an artist should be one of one,” Siifu says of his intention behind creating BLACK’!ANTIQUE. “This album is the shit eye say to myself in the mirror. We get each album/project to tell a different side of ourselves, bring you into a world, speak on our existence and express ourselves in depth. Everything present and in front of you isn’t here to stay, but the memory and the stories will forever be something. That’s an Antique’! Something or Someone Who is Here to Stay’! A Source of Inspiration, Power and Something Timeless’!”

Pink Siifu, who was raised between Birmingham and Cincinnati, has proven himself as a singular voice in contemporary music, with projects that defy traditional formats and serve as emblems of his restlessly experimental drive as an artist. As a solo artist, Siifu received universal acclaim for his 2018 breakout solo album ensley, and obliterated all expectations on his genre-defying album NEGRO, released in 2020, which the New York Times called "the most fearless album in his vast catalog of equally experimental music." His previous solo album, 2022’s GUMBO’! set the stage for this next phase of his career presenting a musical mosaic of all of the influences of his peers across genres and generations, from spoken word by Dungeon Family’s Big Rube to ghettotech from Detroit trio HiTech.

Listen to BLACK’!ANTIQUE above, see the full album tracklist and more details below and stay tuned for more from Pink Siifu coming soon.

Stream

Inventor Ace is dropping his first 2025 single on January 27th, the tracks style is rooted in a laid back, throwback stoner hip hop style. "LGH" came about while on a call with a close long standing producer pitching a few new beats. It stood out because it had a relaxing vintage feeling to it and they began to get to work. Inventor Ace brought the beat to his go-to studio “the underground lounge”, then him and longtime audio engineer “Loon!” created the concept idea of crafting it into a free spirited stoner track.

Inventor Ace on the track, "Growing up, I was introduced to all styles of music from Mary J Blige and Outkast to Steely Dan and the Gypsy Kings, my mental musical library was constantly filled by my dad who showed me all types of music from when I was young. In my teen years, there were a lot of musical influences. I listened to alot of 90s hip hop, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, and Mac Miller (r.i.p) and always wanted to create a stoner track if the opportunity ever presented itself, which is the route we ended up going with this one. My hope is that people will listen to it with an open mind and no expectations and enjoy the music and visuals for what it is, as a smooth lighthearted track because after all I just enjoy creating music that people can connect to."

"LGH" was produced by Columbus Ohio producer Matthew Monroe, edited and engineered by Loon! And Inventor Ace and performed by both Inventor Ace and Loon!

“On ‘Eusexua,’ though, the focus is complete freedom and impulse, [twigs] recharges and transforms, becoming stronger and at times even unrecognizable. Hearing such a transformation is all the more powerful, given how vulnerable she’s been in the past.”

Rolling Stone

“Twigs’ third album brings club music into her sensual, supernatural world. It’s a masterful pop-star moment for the artist.”

Pitchfork, Best New Music

“‘Eusexua’ tests how much she can remain herself within pop’s constraints. The answer: quite a bit.

The New York Times, Critic’s Pick

“FKA twigs has become one of the music industry’s foremost iconoclasts, blurring the lines between singer, dancer, producer, visual artist, collaborator, actor, spokesperson, and activist.”

The FADER

"FKA twigs' third full-length is a triumph."

Consequence

“An astonishing, delicate take on techno.”

NME, The 50 Best Songs of 2024

“rarely has movement been prioritized so squarely in her music, and delivered so effectively”

Billboard, 100 Best Songs of 2024

“she has engineered a kind of euphoria that's difficult to touch, and even harder to hold.”

Resident Advisor

(January 24th, 2025) - FKA twigs releases her third studio album EUSEXUA via Atlantic Records/Young Recordings. Alongside the album’s arrival, she shares the Jordan Hemingway-directed music video for album highlight “Striptease,” which she teased this past weekend when she hosted a rave at Brooklyn’s Market Hotel. Ahead of the album’s release, twigs shared the singles “Drums of Death,” “Perfect Stranger,” and the album’s title track, the last of which was celebrated as one of the best songs of 2024 by The New York Times, Pitchfork, Billboard, The Ringer, Stereogum and more.

The album’s title is a word of twigs’ own making, which she defined as the “moment before an orgasm: pure nothingness but also pure focus in a state of eusexua. That’s kind of the way I want to live my life right now” in her April 2024 cover story for British Vogue. A “love letter to how dance music makes [her] feel,” EUSEXUA was executive produced by twigs herself alongside longtime collaborator Koreless and features additional production from Dylan Brady, Eartheater, Ethan P Flynn, G-Dragon, Jeff Bhasker and Nicolas Jaar, among others.

To celebrate the album’s release, twigs is hosting a handful of sold-out raves across the UK and Paris to bring the world of EUSEXUA to life the way she did in Brooklyn this past weekend. This spring she will embark on her EUSEXUA 2025 Tour, her first formal tour since 2019. With the majority of its dates already sold out, twigs will kick off the tour on March 8th in Prague, the city whose rich techno scene served as inspiration for EUSEXUA. She will later make stops in Berlin, London, Chicago, New York before special festival performances at Coachella in Indio and Axe Ceremonia in Mexico City in April, as well as Primavera Sound in Barcelona and We Love Green in Paris in June.

Tamino Releases "Sanctuary," New Duet Featuring Mitski + Tour 2025

Tamino Releases "Sanctuary," New Duet Featuring Mitski

LISTEN

Every Dawn's a Mountain Out March 21st via erēmia/Communion Records

Spring Tour Includes NYC's Brooklyn Steel, LA's Belasco, SF's Fillmore & More, Early Album Release Shows Sell Out In Hours Across Europe

Today, with the release of "Sanctuary," Tamino joins forces with one of his favorite artists, and introduces a new side to his songwriting. As the latest single from his forthcoming album, Every Dawn's a Mountain, and the only duet on a record largely penned alone, "Sanctuary" features vocals from Mitski, and tells a story of hope and heartache. Over the course of six stirring verses, each soaring over the song's rising tide of strings and gentle crash of drums, Tamino and Mitski sing solo and together, exchanging harmonies and revelations. There is no refrain, just a poetic stream of confessions and consciousness, delivered by the commanding and complementing sounds of their voices.

Listen to "Sanctuary" via Communion Records:

HERE

Tamino and Mitski began as mutual fans, before becoming friends, tourmates and collaborators. He discovered Mitski's Puberty 2 during a pivotal time spent studying in Amsterdam and instantly fell in love with her work. Years passed and he received a message from Mitski, first with the idea of making music together, and then the invitation to support her on a run of North American shows in early 2024. It took months before Tamino formed the seed of a song he thought had the power or potential for the two of them, so he shared a demo, shaped the lyrics together via text message, and set a date for Mitski to join him in the studio. Still, though, "Sanctuary" had yet to be born. Tamino continues:

"Two weeks before our scheduled studio session, I had doubts about whether the current song was suitable enough for a duet. I teamed up with my friend Alessandro Buccellati (SZA, Arlo Parks) at my place in New York City, where, in the wake of my doubts, we wrote the music of 'Sanctuary' in a few hours. The next morning I wrote the lyrics, recorded a small demo, and sent it to Mitski, who loved it and, like me, preferred it to the other song. I asked her if she thought changes in the lyrics were necessary, but she liked it as it was. Two weeks later she came to the studio, where she wrote beautiful harmonies and recorded her part in half a day.

I usually write in solitude and only let other people in much later in the process when the songs already have a form. Collaborating with Alessandro has been a revelation in the sense that for the first time I feel like songwriting as a duo results in songs that I feel are worth releasing. On this album, 'Sanctuary' is the only track fully birthed from this working dynamic. It's also the final addition to the record. These things, combined with the fact that the song features a second voice on what is otherwise a very personal record, make the track a bit of an outlier. Still, it feels like an essential track on this album. I won't analyze it here, but suffice it to say that I can't imagine this record without it. Apart from that, it's also a pinch me moment every time I hear Mitski's voice soaring over 'Sanctuary,' especially when I think back to my time in Amsterdam where it soared over many days."

-Tamino-Amir Moharam Fouad

Out March 21st, and produced by Tamino and longtime collaborator PJ Maertens, Every Dawn's a Mountain is an album about loss, displacement, breaking up and letting go of the past. Primarily written in his new home of New York City, but recorded in a New Orleans church, Brussels studio, and scattered hotel rooms while on tour, these 10 songs mark a fresh start for an artist who headlines arenas in his native Europe and his ancestors' Middle East, and who has performed with Daniel Caesar, David Byrne, Lana Del Rey, Mustafa, Radiohead's Colin Greenwood and more. Arriving on the heels of the recently released "Babylon" and "Dissolve," showcasing Tamino's striking approach to both the guitar and Arabic oud, "Sanctuary" further exemplifies why Every Dawn's a Mountain is "pivotal," says NYLON. "A turning point personally and professionally."

Ahead of the album release, Tamino will preview Every Dawn's a Mountain at a series of intimate release shows that sold-out in a matter of hours, taking place at theaters, churches and other historic venues in the UK and EU. Then, on March 27th, he begins an extensive North American tour, bringing him and the album to New York City's Brooklyn Steel, Los Angeles' Belasco, San Francisco's The Fillmore, two nights at Chicago's Thalia Hall and more you can find below, and at taminomusic.com/tour

Today, Guided By Voices share "Elfin Flower With Knees," the final single ahead of the release of their highly anticipated 41st album, Universe Room

Bandleader Robert Pollard and the longest running GBV lineup of members Doug Gillard, Kevin March, Mark Shue and Bobby Bare Jr, have recorded an incredible string of of 18 albums since 2017. Packing a vast mix of energy levels and previously undiscovered constellations of sounds into 17 diverse tracks over a compact space of less than 40 minutes, the new record ventures into truly surprising territory, where barely any song segments are revisited, typical choruses are a thing of the past, and fidelity daringly shifts between lo-fi and hi-fi.

The unique audio palette certainly wasn’t unintentional on the parts of bandleader Robert Pollard and stalwart producer Travis Harrison“I wanted to create, hopefully, an experience, kind of a wild ride, where the listener would want to hear it multiple times in order to grasp all the sections and fields of sound to discover something new with each listen,” says Pollard. “I trimmed down the songs so that there wasn't a lot of repetition, so you get a lot of sections that happen only once or twice.”

The unprecedented approach to the expansive songwriting adds to the surprising new frontiers of aural sensations from Pollard and members Gillard, March, Shue and Bare Jr. “I wanted to get a little more sonic diversity for this album,” says Pollard, “So I asked each member of the band to record all the instruments for one song and I did three songs myself.”

March’s contribution, opener “Driving Time”, kicks off the record with the nighttime chirping of crickets before adding layers of guitar and percussion, creating a spectral and distinctive new atmosphere for GBV, which is echoed by Gillard's spacey off-the-cuff guitar work in the outro of lead single “Fly Religion”. Guitarist Doug Gillard was recently featured in Guitar Player Magazine and picked in Rolling Stone’s 250 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time.

“For the rest of the songs, we used a lot of different approaches to the recording of both the instruments and the vocals,” adds Pollard, which is evident on tracks like “Clearly Aware”, where the band was completely recorded on just one mic.

Universe Room embodies a realm of new horizons for Guided By Voices, who continue to redefine and expand as they blast off to unpredictable worlds.

Devon Williams shares two new songs, playing LA Fire Benefit show

Devon Williams shares two new songs, playing LA Fire Benefit show

STREAM: "Passing Thing" & "Futility" -
Streaming Services

Over the course of four albums and countless singles, Copenhagen-based songwriter Devon Williams has always had his tools of expert harmonic lines and insightful turns of phrase close at hand. His latest release "Passing Thing / Futility," however, rests at a level of delicacy beyond all past filigree, with his compositional pendulum swinging towards minimalism, tackling feelings of powerlessness and insignificance to everyday circumstances - love, parenthood, family secrets, death, cancer, washing dishes.

The space that exists between piano, bass and drums on "Passing Thing" is an empty crevice, while Williams glues them together with a soft, resigned vocal line. Melodies slide along like a dream in its final wisps, as Williams sings, "I have no guilt for moving on/ Or the time spent here in this song." It's a meditation on change and loss, and how the transient nature of life encourages one to place great value on routine things. On the baroque-folk of "Futility" as well, less is more; narratively focusing on the quotidian, "You know what it isn't, but tell me what it is.” Williams arranges multiple vocals as meandering thought patterns, while classical guitar lines are finger-picked over synthesizer pads. For Williams, it's the moments of dissolution and sadness where true ingenuity flourishes.
