One Chore

I work at a museum frequented by school groups. Coming back from lunch, I saw a folded-up piece of paper in the hallway. I wanted to make sure it was not anything important before throwing it away. Turns out it is a task list of high importance.

A Valuable Coupon Sheet

I'm not sure exactly what "VOID" means in this case. Does it mean that they have already been used? Or does it mean that they are no longer valid? Maybe they had an expiration date or something. Or he made her mad at some point and she scribbled "VOID" on it out of spite.

"Fer cripes sake woman, shut yer trap! I'm trying to play Halo!"

Poor guy.

I found this on a windy day while raking leaves, I hope whoever it was got the french kiss they wanted.

I found this while picking up trash outside my store on a Sunday morning.

A Binding Spell

We found this in a storage shed amongst broken furniture, a few boxes of Christian children and teen books, and outdated lab electronics.

The two sides of the note seem to have been written by the same person, one side is a note to someone else, and the other side is a to-do note.

B. DMV 4 DL + ML
3. Collect cans
4. Go to Church + get laundry money
5. Try to panhandle.
6. Call Biker Training to see how long + how much.
7. Call Baby Dolls about the job
8. Get ahold of our pet.

Thoughts Control

We have a small office which is our boss's office/relief desk/break area where we can use the computer on our breaks. I went to write myself a note on the post-it pad when I saw these 3 notes, shown in order. I recognize most everyone's handwriting and I don't have a clue who this belongs to.

A Surprise in It for You

This sheet of paper was folded into a tiny square, lying in the parking lot of the bank where I work. I opened it up to make sure it didn't contain any personal info like account numbers or whatever, and instead I discovered this note.

Pioneer Defense Fortifications

Awhile back my Dad gave me an old Yashica TLR camera that had belonged to his father. Inside was a roll of exposed by undeveloped B&W film. Based on the age of the film I guessed it was probably from the 1960s or early 1970s. I was hoping there would be some photos of my Dad or his sisters when I got the film developed, but unfortunately there wasn't. The only photo on the roll was the one you see here and we have no idea who any of these people are.

I found this taped to an old chair.

i found this slide a couple months ago on the sidewalk a block away from the park by my house.

The slide frame is stamped "JUL 65."
