So theres been this meme going around social media in which women proudly post pictures of their real selves: no makeup, no filters, and then you must say how old you really are. Its supposed to be empowering, and in many ways it is, but something about it has been stuck in my craw for weeks now and I havent been able to shake it. Whats wrong with this meme?

Daniel
Celia, I've added The Stones and your other book Shapeshifting to my to-read list.

Michael GREAT to meet you and thanks for the kind words, Celia! Small world. Remind your husband to say hello at the ICFA and to mention goodreads -- I'm always happy to meet horror fans! And congratulations on all your successess as an author.

-- Mike Arnzen, http://www.gorelets.com

Jeremy I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me yesterday. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened to create so many messages. Some weird glitch.

Argh...this is terrible...

Again, I'm very sorry.

-Jeremy

Jeremy Hi Celia!

If you don't mind sharing--I was wondering, what's your favorite novel of all time? Or novels?

Here’s wishing you a fantastic day filled with fabulous friendships, fanciful festivities, and frolicking phantom footstools.

-Jeremy :)
