So Rayflo did not change sex, it was a "twin", and they say you should not ask because its taboo (aka they were too lazy to explain it). Well I am not going to read the next one. The story throws one element after the other at you, it moves far too quick and Rayflo is whatever the story needs him to be.

If the spell-circle hinders the powers of vampires, why is this boneless one (they reference some serbian stories to explain it) able to still move around? Plus why does Rayflo refer to him as an old-timer if Rayflo is allegedly an original vampire?

Oh, so you mean Kazan is a vampire and connected to the dead women? You don't say so.

So Rayflo is supposed to look 42... would it kill the artist to draw that? Plus he can do sex-changes now? That plus his constant cryptic remarks and emotional outburst let him appear to me as if he is whatever the plot wants him to be.

WTF is going on? A fight scene, the vampirecyborg grows wings, apparently Rayflo is an original vampire, of course he is, then we get to some church and even more characters and there was even a flashback of Rayflo and young Chris, I guess, totally out of nowhere. Can anyone actually keep track of everything that is thrown at you here?

I am sticking with my first assessment. The panels are so packed with images its hard to make out details and follow what is going on. The writing doesn't help either and neither does the art which often doesn't show what is necessary, e.g. Is Rayflo the said first vampire or not and where did that Dobermann suddenly come from? It was only shown once before and since everything is so packed it is quickly forgotten.

The concept of a vampire hunting vampires, feeding of his master and being a cyborg is intriguing enough as it is. But there are some problems already. The guy just happens to be immune to sunlight and the panels have so many details, aka are so full, that it is hard to follow the story and that is a bad sign for a manga.
