Someone else mentioned this in the comments. Middle of a war and main characters are doing there hair. Like changing it up. I know it’s so Maven could see the small differences in Mare because he’s fond of her but still…

From this chapter we learn Maven is going to lead the scarlet guard and co into the tunnels. With an escape plan. Therefore going against his brother. He had no choice really. Suspicious of the leader of Montfort. Maven can see through his disguise!

Who is really winning in this book? No clue how this will end. Also to learn that Jon the seer put all this in motion from a future seeing!

It’s been a while. Trying to push through to see how the series ends.

I can’t believe the trade that was made between the two parties!

Really enjoying the book. I haven’t watched game of thrones but it’s basically who is going to come out the winner. More than one person want the throne diminished. Julian mentioned Cal’s mums diary. I wonder what it may hold. Good to get Maven and Cal’s point of view in the book.
